There are 148 words today and I have starting letters/lengths for 147 of them: 1x8, 2x7, 20x6, 40x5, 84x4 6xA 38xC 5xD 3xE 7xG 13xH 7xI 3xK 5xN 5xO 3xR 24xS 13xT 10xW The 8 is 55 points. The 7s are 36 and 48. I have 10 6s so far. In alphabetical order they are: 21,24,24,33,27,24,27,33,42,42

The 6/48 is a type of bug and does not use the K or the W.

and you are sure your order for the 6's is right jlm_mi? Cuz if they are I know what the letters are just cant seem to put them in the right order

can't figure out if my texts are robbing my brain of essential babble neurons, if i'm tired, or if i just don't know the words. wow. 1 whole 6 today.

steve - Yes, I'm pretty positive they're in the right order. :) Though now you have me looking at my list over and over to be sure, LOL! But, it's possible you have a word in there that is different from one of mine (or more) but the same points and roughly the same order in the alphabet, so maybe the letters aren't quite right. The letters I've got, there's really only one way I could think to put them together. Think of a small furry animal and remove the ending of that word would be another way to arrive at this one.

4t8 - I'm certain that you know at least 7 of the 6 letter words. Seeing them in the grid is a different matter entirely! But those 7 are very common words. :)

Nah, go ahead and doubt. There have been some games where I couldn't seem to get point values or orders right for the life of me! Heck, I forgot the 5 F's just this morning when listing the words. :-D

Welcome, youngster! I feel old just saying that. :-p It may take some getting used to, but just keep plugging through the grid and you'll see more and more words. Many of us keep track of how many words we have with each starting letter, and you can see a tally below of those. That way, you don't keep searching for words starting with a partciular letter when you know you have them all. Good luck!

Ah! So how do you know there are 148 words today or that there's 10 W's etc?

I am in desparate need of help with A words if anyone can give it! I only have 2 of the 6. One for 6 letters and one for 4. Gracias!

Magic! OK, not really. There are a couple of different solvers online that one can use. One could use them to just get a list of words and enter them in, but that would not be any fun at all. However, it does enhance the enjoyment to have the statistics below. So, there is one solver that does a good job of giving the total number of words, but I cannot use it to break down the statistics any further without actually seeing the words. So, that is how I know there are 148 total words. There is another solver that allows me to easily get the number of words per length and per starting letter without looking at them, but it does not have the same dictionary as babble, so it is sometimes incomplete. Hence, it thinks there are only 147 words today, and I have no idea at this point what the missing word starts with or how long it is.

Sure, there's a toaster oven! Or, just unwrapping works well with so many foods. It's not exactly a method of preparation. It collectively describes various food-prep styles in a generic fasion.
