I have the same sequence, which makes me feel better about my dismal score yesterday.

well a lot of the yesterday's words were weird. *pictures runningfor home nodding and saying "that is iwis the case!" * All today's D words are much more common.

and yet, i'm only so far seeing 9 of them.

OOh, joy - I woke up, and found another word, worth a whopping six points! yay for me!! So far, nothing beginning with I, or U, or Y - but the day is young.

I've found 4x Y's You'll be abominably upset with yourself if you don't get at least one of them Christine ;)

Goodmorning, Shortseer - is it early where you are... it's going to be another scorcher in L.A...but that's fine with me, it's the reason I'm here, not in London. I do have the one Y-word, (hadn't noted it on my breakdown sheet..), perhaps I'll find the others after a shower and a cuppa.

Are you in NZ or Oz? I'm retired, so if I feel drowsy during the day, I can nap.... generally, if I get on the board, I too keep coming back, and don't get anything eles done...I've almost quit reading and sewing, since I discoveed Babble... obsession or addiction, indeed.

Be well soon. Still only 62/658.I need to spend today typing up reponses to interrogatories, to sear the tail of the Evil Dentist, and spend time at Staples, copying various Proofs and Responses,so I probably won't Babble until the end of the day. On the up-side, I'm getting a mini class on legal terms (my lawyer explains the term, each time he gives me something to work on). In fact, I found a D6 in the grid, them juggled the letters and found another, because of something he told me... all this, and maybe a cash settlement.

shortseer - Although I'm missing several you posted, I may also be able to help you. I think from your definitions that you may be missing an L6 and a T6. The L6 may be an adverb used to describe a person with a limp. The T6 may refer to the cover of a book.

OMG! That T6 for standing/walking I've been trying to see it in there all morning and just couldn't! I finally just typed it in, and it took it. It took a minute for me to finally see where it fit in the puzzle though. :-p

Oh, and shortseer - You have listed 16 6-letter words and 2 blanks, but there are 19 of them total. Still one more that no one has hinted about . . .

I7/8 sequence - related to giving a name I now have 7x i's rather than the 6 in jlm's breakdown ... so that's where the extra word is hiding

weird 'cause I have six Is and 4 Ns and figured that was were it was....

Does anyone know where the online solvers are? Yesterday I wanted to see what words I was missing and I tried a google search to no avail. Any help.....jlm..mi?

If you search for "boggle solver" you should find at least 2 online solvers. The boggle/tangleword solver uses the same dictionary as babble. And I just realized I've made a mistake! There are 7xi in the solution I have, but still only 3xN, so that must be the extra word. Also, there are only 24xT. I mistakenly counted one of the i words as a T word. Mea culpa!

This is the toughest grid I have seen in quite some time. An awful lot of the words are super-obscure. I have tried almost everything in search of the L6 pigment. Can anyone tell me how many points it is, at least?

It is 18 points, and it is quite similar to the gland one.

I have 4 N words .

Karin - Yep, it must be that the 4th N is the missing word in the solution. stevedallas - Indeed, it should accept pitot!!!! I guess maybe it's considered a proper noun since it was named after Monsieur Pitot?

36 words after an hour of playing - what a grid; kudos to all of you who can see anything today!!

Back again .. Soooo i've been hunting a T that doesn't exist! But then i've also been hunting for an M that apparently dosesn't want to exist I think it must be an M4 or M5 I've got : 12x M4 5x M5 3x M6 1x M7 1x M8 Has anyone got an extra M ???

shortseer - Sorry about the T confusion! (and potentially making you look for another N) I also have the same number of 4,5,6 letter M words you have, but have not yet found the 7 and 8. I'm not seeing any other 4s or 5s either, there, but will keep looking!

That L6 is related to an endocrine gland? This is the biologist in me coming out now LOL, I never knew it related to something endocrine-y. Well you learn something new everyday!

After finding all 4 N words I looked at the solver results for N. The word it is missing is 4 letters, so make the final word count 65x4.

Found the Bi-5 I was missing for a grand total of 124/1660.

M8 ... First section of the M8 is a shortened form of a word meaning "Having, relating to, or consisting of more than one individual, element, part, or other component"
