And you are not early. Read the flip chat. All the hotshots blurt out what the long words are.
Thank you and good morning, Molly
Hi Ruby. It is cold and dark here. Counting the days until Spring.
It's cold and sunny. Not quite freezing, so there are still many flowers along with colored leaves
The garden is magnifique!
I'm glad you are still enjoying your garden. This is the time of year all my stuff starts dying off. I had to pull the tomato plants last night.
l ate my last tomato yesterday
I've been bringing the smaller things inside, because we have had overnight frost. Anything in big containers is at the mercy of Ma Nature.
There is a small tree (large shrub) which was here when we bought the house which has really stinky but pretty flowers. l don't remove it, because its leaves are brilliant red now
The pottred geraniums survive i n the garagge all winter and several are 3 or 4 years old
Geraniums are such hardy plants.
l put some in one of the borders every year and they are still flowering but, of course, will die off soon
I have a friends whoe specialty is da6's
whose*
They are too fussy for me
They are pretty. I like the peach colored ones.
I need tough plants that don't mind neglect
It is my dream to one day have a greenhouse so I can enjoy growing things all year round.
Since this is my first (and certainly last) garden, it was years in the planning and although l made many mistakes, it is relatively successful
lt was always my dream!
And pretty, even in winter
First run through and have 39 left for later.
Its nice that you have a pretty place to live.
Hello, Ruby & Molly :-)
((zzoozz))
bane
I am very lucky
Shit, its been a while since I did that.
Had a friend come round yesterday evening to tell me about his holiday in Australia.
We have all been there, Molly :-)
That must be the place to go these days. SMom posted earlier that her granddaughter was visiting there.
Molly, you are long overdue for a mistake! You are much-loved!
My traveling days are long over
He did not leave until 2am this morning alas it has thrown me out of order here. I feel knackered. Not used to entertaining people til that time of day/night
And to top it all next door neighbor is having their house gutted and refurbished. The noise is so loud it sounds like I am in the same room as them and the whole house shakes.
Anyway that is my rant over with lol
Hope you are all doing well?
My days of being up until the wee hours are long behind me.
l don't think anything could keep me up that late
Nowadays, if I am up at that time it is due to insomnia. : D
The only time am nonrmally up at those times is if I have awaken from a nightmare or just pottering about in my own time lol
Oh lol Snap, Molly!
I was sure that totsy or dotsy would be some sort of acceptable Brit phrase : )
l've solved the insomnia problem, Xanax when l am ready to sleep; it take 10 minutes to kick in with good-uality sleep
Had better go and see parents. Nice to see you, Molly! & Ruby!
How about hotsy-totsy, for us fancy folk?
Don't think I could get that without a prescription, Ruby.
*poof*
I have a scrip
Hotsy-totsy will be used frequently in your autobiography, Ruby.
You think? LOL
Lunch is about to arrive, another great thing about France!
l sometimes share it with pups, but sometimes it's good -- 1 in 4
See you latter

Hi babblers

Free clue.
Hi scrabs
Hi Origami. How are you today?
doing OK. How about you?
I am well. Disappointed with upcoming weather--10+ days of rain started today.
Yikes. I am still waiting for Fall here. In the 80's.
I am sad when kayaking season ends. But, snow will arrive soon and I can start snowshoeing.
Enjoy your warm weather.
Thanks ... going to paint today
Walls? Art work?
I should be painting walls, but art :D
I am an artist too, as a hobby, but it is my passion.
I'm just learning, but really enjoying working with acrylics.
I sent you a friend request on FB.
Got it. Thanks.
<--- still swimming in napa
Very nice, Ruru.
we've had a little heat wave recently
Yes, it has been a very warm fall so far.
(not that I'm complaining)
We had a very warm Sept and a nice hot week in Oct, but fall is here and winter will arrive in a week or two.
i'll have to try kayaking sometime
It should drop into the 60's and 70's next week. About right for this time of year.
It is so relaxing and a great upper body workout. My arms bulk up.
I have a friend in her 90's who still kayaks.
I figure I'm good at yaking so all I have to do is practice the KA's
Sure. Push and pull, push and pull.
I'm good at that too scrabs :D
Hi Folks
Hi Hego.
"Lo Ori
Silly, Ruru.
*waves to Hego*
Buon giorno, mia amica!

(looks around for Mick Jagger in the Chat)
Hego, thanks for the suggestion for my next read. I have about 2 dozen to choose from here.
He's in the PB with Steven Tyler.
Nightingale was good, but "Light" was better. Very original and beautifully written.
lol Ori
OK, I will go to the library on Monday.
Light?

Isn't Light heavy reading?
"All the light we cannot see"
oh.. that's a great book
Yup!
I really enjoyed it
I have some nonfiction books too, trees, medicine, Adirondack Mtns...I have to decide.
After reading that, I wrote everything else I could find by that author.
Dylan and I have a new roommate hego
another dog?
I do that with Tana French, Alex Grecian, Matthew Pearl, Arturo Perez Reverte...
another dog.. i'm fostering
what kind?
an 11 year old golden retriever female displaced by the fires out here
sad
That dog is lucky to be with you, and lucky to be alive.
not really.. she's a really sweet dog and loves it here with me. She's been really well taken care of here.
it is more sad for Sonoma County than here.. they just got decimated over there..it's horrible
My daughter once adopted an 11 year old golden. We loved him to pieces
Yes I know about Sonoma, terrible.
My house looks like a pack of Hells Angels has taken up residence. Off to do some housework. See ya'll.
Bye Ori.
Ori really has to start restricting her guests.
Bye, origami. I should do the same.
The only thing missing is a pile of empty Bud cans in the yard :D Poof.
(that's why you have all those new tattoos ori)
:)
I should clean house some too.. bye hego.. great to have a chance to say hi
same here. Bye
