Caya- sorry. Auto correct of course.

I see it's time to get out the Hindu language meaning book again
l just turned down a lunch invitation; l'd
ratther go back to bed and red
Or even read
Wow, the weather must really be crappy for you to turn down a lunch invitation
Morning all. May I have stats, please, for the lone A in the last column?
lt's as bad as it gets here and l even have food in the house for a change
Raining here all day today too.
as 4/5
as4
Never mind!
Found it just before your clues appreared. Thank you :)
Matty goes Peri : D
hi sukee
What clues?
Hi ruby.
Well, stats, really, Ruby :)
haha
nbt
Time change here today, cats tried to get me up an hour earlier
We had overnight rain but today is supposed to be nice. The trees are all decked out in their Fall colors. It's gorgeous.
l need a clue, pls, for that a and also for the w
A 4/5 - electronic communication code
WH 4/9, WI 4/10
as + first two of an apple drink. wh4, not who, when, or where
wi4 like the broom rider, but missing a letter
ha, I was just going to use a similar clue for WI :)
ty, Molly, l needed my hand held for that
Are you describing me? That's wh** l look like today!
I see President Homer Simpson is in Japan today...
'Tis the season for that Ruby
I know, unfortunately
I don't know what I look like today, I badly need a haircut.
Oh, we had a very heated discussion here yesterday about The President. I hope cooler heads will prevail today.
Did he hold Melandia's hand this ime?
l'm sorry l missed it!
I don't know, haven't seen any pictures.
He told Japan they should have taken down a missile because they are Samurai warriors.
You're making that up?
I wish I was.
I'm sorry that we have lost a very well liked poster here due to political opinions that ran too hot
Really? I would not leave, everyone has opinions :)
When they first left Andrews for the trip, he preceded her up the steps to the plane
Who did we lose?
I seem to have hit a brick wall, 65 to go.
78 here and l need a haircut, too
good afternoon all, back for the last bit
I agree that everyone has opinions and should be able to express them. However, there are those who believe in a candidate or President and take offense when the name calling starts.
good morning all. wondering which babbler we lost due to yesterdays discussion
I'm still working on the puzzle and I cut my own hair the other day. Now everyone's status is accounted for.
He is the name-caller in chief.
morning peri
Anyway, trying to avoid politics.
no name-calling
Hi Peri.
bye
It wasn't yesterday's discussion Peri. It was something that happened a while ago.
ok
day beforee and it gott nasty
And if you believe he is The Name Caller In Chief, then you should be like him? I don't get the logic.
I don't insult people on Twitter and I am not the president.
Leaders should have a modicum of respect.
hi sprite. my niece and her family are visiting from connecticut and were at my sisters yesterday. they brought along their King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Rosie. She is the sweetest most likable dog I have ever seen
Aww.
awww how lovely, peri. Cavaliers are such lovable dogs. Glad you are enjoying their company, dog included
I just wish I had 100$ for every person who said they were going to "leave the country" because of a President. People said it about Obama, and they are saying it now, and they never leave. The answer to being unhappy about politics is to get involved and try to make a change.
I love King Charles spaniels, one visits the senior center where I work out, her name is Halo :)
cute name!
Oh well, the most corrupt administration will not last long.
And I agree, I would never leave my country because of a leader. I would definitely vote, too bad so many didn't.
I didn't leave the US because of Trump (I've been in the UK since 1988) but I did download the British citizenship forms on the 9th of November and started the process in part because of him. I'm also wary about visiting the States with the current climate (I hear - and I realise I cannot verify the accuracy of this) that airport security are asking for social network handles and passwords and the like. If that's true, I think it's very wrong.
*hugs matty*
Hugs sprite back!
A lot of Canadians are refusing to visit the US because of him.
good to see you, matty. How are you doing?
I Facetimed my daughter (who lives in Melbourne) - she just got a black lab puppy. He's very cute (called Wes)
I'm good - Jeff's dad died four weeks ago, which is sad but otherwise, we're doing well. Job's going well - yay!
Hoping to visit Melbourne in January
aww another adorable breed.
Going to make breakfast, take care all.
He looks very cute - just 8 weeks old
enjoy your breakfast, sukee, and have a lovely day
ah, a good age to socialise and make him get used to anything and everything.
Yeah. Sarah's promised to Facetime often so I can watch him grow
I don't have any 7s yet :(
you'll enjoy that, no doubt. And not your job to raise him properly :D
Exactly!
would you like clues for the ones I have?
How about for just one to get me started (even stats would help for a word that is one I'm likely to get :) ) i.e. a, as I put it, 'real word'
I would sprite pls
sh7/36 is a real word
I shall see if I can find it before asking for clues :) I haven't yet turned the heating on this year but I can see it coming
okay peri: Sh7 = people who create the areas where the light doesn't come
(Two utterly unconnected statements, I realise)
ty sprite and to think I already had the singular.
Thank you Sprite! :P
Weirdly, Peri, so did I. I keep forgetting about that other S

Thank you sprite!
I am not seeing them

Does anyone know the correct time here in the US, I am not sure my clocks have changed?
7:51 ET
you can go to time.gov
Well, lets see. If you set them back one hour, they have changed. If not, then they haven't. : D

Yes and a smart watch

but I don't have any monkeys
Oh those imaginary monkeys. How did that start? More importantly, why is it still around? ha7 starts like not soft and ends like mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel.
Someone gave the definition as a clue earlier, but I doubt anyone would get it from that.
Thanks Molly! Monkeys were here when I got here, they persist.
I don't know. It's like people who still say "groovy"
those people still have tied dyed shirts
I think it comes from monkey around.
Like when you try to piece something together.
well.. that's monkeying I can do
And actually fits pretty well.
Hi Ru
morning hego.. you're like a chimp off the old block
hego, you and I have similar icons
:)
I'm going to have to do the fall colors sometime back east
the only red we get is fires here
this wasn't a very good year for it in CT[with some exceptins]
A friend who was showing me some things on the piano once told me to just sit there and monkey with it instead of just trying to play written music all the time.
is Connecticut the best place to go for the colors?
And it was a lot of fun.
Yes Ru Connecticut is excellent.
Our trees are kind of drab this year too.
It stayed hot too long.
there's lots of good places in New England. Different states have a different calander
most of our trees are drabbier than yours
they are crispy
The sugar maples are the best
You need the cold crisp weather.
I love maple trees
Not the Norway maple
We have the maples that get bright red in our community
? why is that
Those are the sugar maples
I couldn't explain ru, just google it
Bichon, I didn't know that.
Ru, it has to do with the breakdown of the chlorophyll in the leaves.
That's why the norther NE states have terrific folliage
Right
I see. they are an invasive species
There are trees which turn purple
we get yellow and red in the grape vines.. the vines behind my house are yellow right now.. sunrise was really beautiful today
We cut down our Norway maple. Too much work raking
are those the Prince maples Bichon?
the purple ones I mean
A good shrub is burning bush. Turns scarlet
We have those. Nice
The woods behind my house are mostly oaks. Not so great.
today's probably my last day in the pool.. it's getting cold here at night
Poor baby : (
I know.. it's been a hard year for me
Tough
It's not like I have a hot tub or anything molly :D
Oak trees are beautiful in the Fall. It depends on what kind of oak they are. Some just have leaves that turn brown and fall off. Others have leaves that turn yellow and orange and they are gorgeous. I just took some photographs of some this morning.
why not?
hot tubs are a pain in the ass
Did not know that.
they require a lot more maintenance than swimming pools
and you really don't use them that much.. the pool I use every day
I've never had one.
You have apool and a hot tub/ The California life
just a pool bichon
and a small one at that
14 x 22 feet
It's wet and cool
Nice size.
it's perfect for me.. mostly to cool off and relax my back
sunny here today so i'll get to use it.
Have a good day. Later.
bye hego
I've lived somewhere that the seasons obviously change 4 times a year. I think I would miss that if I moved somewhere else. Well, except winter. I wouldn't miss that one bit.
we have two seasons here
really three.. sorta
SPring here is really separate and distinct
I also need a lot of deciduous trees and grass. California would not work for me. Although I think living near the ocean sounds nice.
yeah.. it's drier here.. there are lots of areas that are loaded with deciduous trees here though. but not too near the ocean.
the ocean here is quite beautiful.. being it's on the right coast
I would get confused seeing the sun set over the ocean. I'm used to seeing it rise there. : D
ah.. but the sunsets here are amazing
hi all. help with ha7 pls
Greetings, Babblonians!
add a R to the ha 6
Buenos dias judi
ty ruru
<---seemed like the easiest way to clue that
Better clue than "the heart, liver, etc., of a hog or other animal used for food."
I tend to be introspective and keep my feelings innardly :D
havent got that word yet Molly but yourdescription used to be historically called the umbles given to servants hence 'eat humble pie'
ha7 starts like not soft and ends like mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel.
Now Ru just has guts
Intetine-ing conversation
usually I just have a lot of spleening to do
Or Intestine-ing
Better than being a bleeding heart, Ru
sorry..I'm just kidneying around
shouldn't there be a colon on the end of that sentence MOlly ?D
these jokes are offal
You know what they say, liver and learn.
LOL
We don't mean to bladder on deeha
all this reminds me of that cowboy song
We probably are not using the corectal form of chat
(good one)
well urethra in or out of the chat molly
* ruminating on all the brilliant punning *
good one to you Ru
There is a vas deferens between what some people think is interesting chat and what others think
Aorta be spending my time doing more productive things.
it takes one to scrotum molly
It is okay Judi. I'm sure you be-lung here.
I'm fallopian over with laughter
Judi's icon is going to give me nightmares. Those freaky cat ones always do.
Ru's just ovary acting.
LOL!!!!!!!
theres womb for everyone here
what a fertile conversation
not like udder sites
We're making long term mammaries here.
bosom buddies even
you have to cervix yourself here
Uterus would say something like that Ru
you people crack me up!
we've reached the bottom now
Too bad, people will have to bend over and take it like a man
oooph
that's something I just can't put a finger on molly
nor would you want to
Sorry if there are too many dispancreasies in this exchange.
Or discrepancreasies. I had a hard time working that one in.
you are such a little sphincter
oh i was working so hard on pancreas but coulnt get one. Well done Molly
Don't get testes Ru, we are just having fun.
Organ you proud of yourself?
I think we have run out of organs, unless we are going to autopsy the chat.
do we need to diaphragm it on the chalk board
Oh, I was wrong. I think we can stomach some more of this.
lol
I was just about to wish happy entrails to you all
<---- sits down for a little Babble and finds organ humor. You just never know what you will find here.
Yes, it has been quite an anatomical lesson today, Origami.
and all PG rated too
Takes a lot of guts to read the chat sometimes
airway to heaven in here today
well.. we try to be genitalia with you ori
it's galling
Our puns are all very tongue in cheek.
eye get it
usually someone gets adenoid eventually
time for me to go-nad
You know the pun session is weenie-ing down when you see repeats
i missed another ham-fisted session?!
ha7?
ha7 starts like not soft and ends like mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel.
thx molly!
WHOOPS Molly don't get the clue!!
harslet
Thank you!!!
har...first part of not soft...slet...mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel
Lost my connection there for a while. I think our anatomical chat ruptured the Babble server.
Don't abscess about it Judi.
I was concherniated.
Great clue, thanks molly
I'm missing the Ha6/21. Anyone have a clue for that?
Nov. weather gives me a pain in the backside!
literally?
Cause it gets my sciatica going too
sorry for being rude; l was belatedly trying to join the anatomical, fun
Just my back
Legs are tired, but don't hurt
lol Ruby
How arre you otherwise, hego?
Pretty good Ruby, thanks
It has been beautiful up 'til yesterday. Now it's truly Nov.
Judi, take the R out of ha 7 for the ha 6
I was just outside raking leaves and trimming back what few plants are left. It is the season of nature shedding and going within.
Yes, 'tis the season of shutting down. The "vigne vierge" on the front of the house is golden and matches my Raffie, but it will probaably all be down by morning
If there are still golden leaves tomorrow, l'll try to get a pin-up of my beautiful girl
Sort of wintrospective molly?
great word, ru!

Hi Bugs!

Well, good to see you.

i went to lecture by the rolling stone writer who wrote the new Lou Reed bio yesterday. it was interesting
schip doesn't work as a yiddish-speaker's cruise conveyance.
Love lou reed

there's a new Mark Helprin book I need to get first :)
what is that? I 'm still working my way though ghengis kan
He's an author I really enjoy.
Not as much as a Paul Auster, but he's up there.
the history of the mongols is fascinating when you get into the details. even though I am not a detail person
I used to enjoy non-fiction, but I just can't concentrate that much for that long anymore
i hear that. that's why my book is taking so laong. plus when you put it down you have to reread to get back to speed because details are important. i thought it would bore me silly but i am into it
break time with that last column s still blank. later
by to. 38 here.
people who put their hand over their eyes in order to block the sun might be called sh7 (last column S)
and bits of broken glass are called sh6
I sense a clue bonanza on the way
i just did those because TO said she didn't have them
but if you WANT a bonanza we could probably arrange one :)
Oh, no thanks. It is a clue festival here most days.
Or should I say cl*e fe**ti*al
Damn, I can't seem to spell with ***'s
I'm sure you'll learn if you practice enough.
molly doesn't LIKE all the cluing, esp with *s for letters :)

Have a good day or evening everyone.
congrats...
i am heading out....goodnight all....
hello everyone - late start today
Hi Cyber ... popping in and out here
hello nan and origami
any clues for the sr6/7 combo?
don't have it -- doesn't sound too common!
Hi I am new, what do you mean by Sr 6/7 combo?
Those are two words, six and seven letters long starting with sr.
These stats show up in Lickety's Babble Clues which can be accessed in the link below the grid.
letters are the first 2 in the word and numbers of letters in the word. Click on help for game eplanation and tips
wait why do we have sr words
yuck
Lickety says we do. The sr words I know are 4 letters.
Why do we have sr words? Because we have offended the Babble gods, I would say.
stuck on the de 675 sequence at the end
de6: De + a misspelled smell and then plural.
the de5 what the alien does when he checks his gun.
no idea
know nothing about guns
it's S + half of AM/FM + third person form of the verb have....I copied this clue from earlier. This is plural of the other sr word.
ty Hills. That is fireworks for me.
yw
