I'm still working on the puzzle and I cut my own hair the other day. Now everyone's status is accounted for.

5:43 am

He is the name-caller in chief.

5:43 am

morning peri

5:44 am

Anyway, trying to avoid politics.

5:44 am

no name-calling

5:44 am

Hi Peri.

5:44 am

bye

5:44 am

It wasn't yesterday's discussion Peri. It was something that happened a while ago.

5:44 am

ok

5:44 am

day beforee and it gott nasty

5:45 am

And if you believe he is The Name Caller In Chief, then you should be like him? I don't get the logic.

5:45 am

I don't insult people on Twitter and I am not the president.

5:46 am

Leaders should have a modicum of respect.

5:47 am

hi sprite. my niece and her family are visiting from connecticut and were at my sisters yesterday. they brought along their King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Rosie. She is the sweetest most likable dog I have ever seen

5:48 am

Aww.

5:48 am

awww how lovely, peri. Cavaliers are such lovable dogs. Glad you are enjoying their company, dog included

5:48 am

I just wish I had 100$ for every person who said they were going to "leave the country" because of a President. People said it about Obama, and they are saying it now, and they never leave. The answer to being unhappy about politics is to get involved and try to make a change.

5:48 am

I love King Charles spaniels, one visits the senior center where I work out, her name is Halo :)

5:49 am

cute name!

5:49 am

Oh well, the most corrupt administration will not last long.

5:50 am

And I agree, I would never leave my country because of a leader. I would definitely vote, too bad so many didn't.

I didn't leave the US because of Trump (I've been in the UK since 1988) but I did download the British citizenship forms on the 9th of November and started the process in part because of him. I'm also wary about visiting the States with the current climate (I hear - and I realise I cannot verify the accuracy of this) that airport security are asking for social network handles and passwords and the like. If that's true, I think it's very wrong.

5:52 am

*hugs matty*

Hugs sprite back!

5:53 am

A lot of Canadians are refusing to visit the US because of him.

5:53 am

good to see you, matty. How are you doing?

I Facetimed my daughter (who lives in Melbourne) - she just got a black lab puppy. He's very cute (called Wes)

I'm good - Jeff's dad died four weeks ago, which is sad but otherwise, we're doing well. Job's going well - yay!

Hoping to visit Melbourne in January

5:53 am

aww another adorable breed.

5:54 am

Going to make breakfast, take care all.

He looks very cute - just 8 weeks old

5:54 am

enjoy your breakfast, sukee, and have a lovely day

5:54 am

ah, a good age to socialise and make him get used to anything and everything.

Yeah. Sarah's promised to Facetime often so I can watch him grow

I don't have any 7s yet :(

5:55 am

you'll enjoy that, no doubt. And not your job to raise him properly :D

Exactly!

5:56 am

would you like clues for the ones I have?

How about for just one to get me started (even stats would help for a word that is one I'm likely to get :) ) i.e. a, as I put it, 'real word'

5:56 am

I would sprite pls

5:56 am

sh7/36 is a real word

I shall see if I can find it before asking for clues :) I haven't yet turned the heating on this year but I can see it coming

5:57 am

okay peri: Sh7 = people who create the areas where the light doesn't come

(Two utterly unconnected statements, I realise)

5:58 am

ty sprite and to think I already had the singular.

Thank you Sprite! :P

Weirdly, Peri, so did I. I keep forgetting about that other S

5:58 am

ch7/40 x 2: two alt. spellings for 'the traditional garment of Muslim and Hindu women, consisting of a long, usually black or drab-colored cloth or veil that envelops the body from head to foot and covers all or part of the face'

5:58 am

the ch7s are plurals

9:50 am

but I don't have any monkeys

10:00 am

Oh those imaginary monkeys. How did that start? More importantly, why is it still around? ha7 starts like not soft and ends like mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel.

10:01 am

Someone gave the definition as a clue earlier, but I doubt anyone would get it from that.

10:01 am

Thanks Molly! Monkeys were here when I got here, they persist.

10:04 am

I don't know. It's like people who still say "groovy"

10:06 am

those people still have tied dyed shirts

10:09 am

I think it comes from monkey around.

10:10 am

Like when you try to piece something together.

10:10 am

well.. that's monkeying I can do

10:10 am

And actually fits pretty well.

10:10 am

Hi Ru

10:11 am

morning hego.. you're like a chimp off the old block

10:12 am

hego, you and I have similar icons

10:13 am

:)

10:13 am

I'm going to have to do the fall colors sometime back east

10:14 am

the only red we get is fires here

10:14 am

this wasn't a very good year for it in CT[with some exceptins]

10:14 am

A friend who was showing me some things on the piano once told me to just sit there and monkey with it instead of just trying to play written music all the time.

10:14 am

is Connecticut the best place to go for the colors?

10:15 am

And it was a lot of fun.

10:15 am

Yes Ru Connecticut is excellent.

10:16 am

Our trees are kind of drab this year too.

10:16 am

It stayed hot too long.

10:16 am

there's lots of good places in New England. Different states have a different calander

10:16 am

most of our trees are drabbier than yours

10:17 am

they are crispy

10:17 am

The sugar maples are the best

10:17 am

You need the cold crisp weather.

10:17 am

I love maple trees

10:17 am

Not the Norway maple

10:18 am

We have the maples that get bright red in our community

10:18 am

? why is that

10:18 am

Those are the sugar maples

10:19 am

I couldn't explain ru, just google it

10:19 am

Bichon, I didn't know that.

10:20 am

Ru, it has to do with the breakdown of the chlorophyll in the leaves.

10:20 am

That's why the norther NE states have terrific folliage

10:20 am

Right

10:20 am

I see. they are an invasive species

10:21 am

There are trees which turn purple

10:21 am

we get yellow and red in the grape vines.. the vines behind my house are yellow right now.. sunrise was really beautiful today

10:21 am

We cut down our Norway maple. Too much work raking

10:21 am

are those the Prince maples Bichon?

10:22 am

the purple ones I mean

10:22 am

A good shrub is burning bush. Turns scarlet

10:23 am

We have those. Nice

10:24 am

The woods behind my house are mostly oaks. Not so great.

10:24 am

today's probably my last day in the pool.. it's getting cold here at night

10:31 am

Poor baby : (

10:31 am

I know.. it's been a hard year for me

10:32 am

Tough

10:33 am

It's not like I have a hot tub or anything molly :D

10:33 am

Oak trees are beautiful in the Fall. It depends on what kind of oak they are. Some just have leaves that turn brown and fall off. Others have leaves that turn yellow and orange and they are gorgeous. I just took some photographs of some this morning.

10:33 am

why not?

10:34 am

hot tubs are a pain in the ass

10:34 am

Did not know that.

10:35 am

they require a lot more maintenance than swimming pools

10:35 am

and you really don't use them that much.. the pool I use every day

10:36 am

I've never had one.

10:36 am

You have apool and a hot tub/ The California life

10:36 am

just a pool bichon

10:37 am

and a small one at that

10:37 am

14 x 22 feet

10:37 am

It's wet and cool

10:37 am

Nice size.

10:38 am

it's perfect for me.. mostly to cool off and relax my back

10:39 am

sunny here today so i'll get to use it.

10:41 am

Have a good day. Later.

10:41 am

bye hego

10:48 am

I've lived somewhere that the seasons obviously change 4 times a year. I think I would miss that if I moved somewhere else. Well, except winter. I wouldn't miss that one bit.

10:51 am

we have two seasons here

10:51 am

really three.. sorta

10:52 am

SPring here is really separate and distinct

10:56 am

I also need a lot of deciduous trees and grass. California would not work for me. Although I think living near the ocean sounds nice.

10:57 am

yeah.. it's drier here.. there are lots of areas that are loaded with deciduous trees here though. but not too near the ocean.

10:58 am

the ocean here is quite beautiful.. being it's on the right coast

10:58 am

I would get confused seeing the sun set over the ocean. I'm used to seeing it rise there. : D

11:01 am

ah.. but the sunsets here are amazing

11:05 am

hi all. help with ha7 pls

11:07 am

Greetings, Babblonians!

11:08 am

11:14 am

I tend to be introspective and keep my feelings innardly :D

11:15 am

havent got that word yet Molly but yourdescription used to be historically called the umbles given to servants hence 'eat humble pie'

11:18 am

ha7 starts like not soft and ends like mixed frozen precipitation without the double vowel.

11:19 am

Now Ru just has guts

11:20 am

Intetine-ing conversation

11:20 am

1:33 pm

I was just outside raking leaves and trimming back what few plants are left. It is the season of nature shedding and going within.

1:37 pm

Yes, 'tis the season of shutting down. The "vigne vierge" on the front of the house is golden and matches my Raffie, but it will probaably all be down by morning

the history of the mongols is fascinating when you get into the details. even though I am not a detail person

2:28 pm

I used to enjoy non-fiction, but I just can't concentrate that much for that long anymore

i hear that. that's why my book is taking so laong. plus when you put it down you have to reread to get back to speed because details are important. i thought it would bore me silly but i am into it

letters are the first 2 in the word and numbers of letters in the word. Click on help for game eplanation and tips

7:27 pm

wait why do we have sr words

7:27 pm

7:28 pm

Lickety says we do. The sr words I know are 4 letters.
