woohoo, hello dearest sprite. how's my fave sis? mostly good here.
*hugs rose* Finally! Missed seeing you in babble for a few days. Mostly good here too. How's the darn nerve and did you hear back from workcover yet?

please tell Caya she is in my prayers every night... as all of yo are.
I had planned to email you about it all, but then Caya called. She wasn't in a good place emotionally at all. Rob and I drove up there and back yesterday to give her some support, a quick meal.
poor kid.... so wish i was there to spend some time with her. it's so difficult for the young ones today.
Finally finished..computer needs to be thrown in bin!!
it is, isn't it. Such heavy demands on their ability to recover from stuff.
WTG ANIKE !!! and roflol re computer.
gz anike
Will go before I do toss out the computer. Happy babbling
no finger pointing in any way honey. i was one of the fortunate ones who grew up surrounded by extended family.
i had three of my grandparents, all my aunts and uncles, and cousins galore.like i said, i was very lucky.
*gives rose an extra hug* Some days, I feel this incredible sadness inside, missing my parents... then realising I have always missed parents in the sense of real parents... what I am missing is to have parents who care. But nowadays this sadness is very much balanced by the love I receive from my friends.
awww honey.... look out.... brace yourself....*launches herself at sprite*
and as I told Rob: even if we cannot do a lot to make Caya feel better, at least we do what we can, and we drive for 5 hours just to spend an hour with her... something my parents would never have done.
*stumbles backwards, holding rose, recovering and squeezing the living daylights out of her*
*watch out for Terra*
hm, good point. *moves Terra to the top of the hug*
oh, gee thanx Terra. i washed my face his morning...
he just finished the process, honey
yay, I found a 6
yay sprite
*giggles* Yeah, better celebrate the tiny victories.
I just realised that we drove up to Caya's the day before yesterday. Time really flies. Yesterday, I spent most of the day finding sweet pictures and quotes for Caya on the internet and printing them out. I gave her a small booklet that has a paper 'pocket' on each page. You can use it to store small notes and such. We are gonna send her some small notes every day for a while, to fill up the booklet and make her smile at least once a day.
brb, going to check on Don.
lolll. he came in the backdoor as i went out the front door.
lovely idea sprite.
roflol... I can picture it!
*eye roll * i'm screaming out the front where are you Don? and he's yelling inside, i'm in here. what are you doing out there?

*hugs Liz* Hello dear one, how are you today? And how is your beloved?
Hugs to you both.
Alls good here. Hope things are OK with you.

Poor Caya - so tough

I’d avoid homicide andsuicide. Not to be recommended
yeah, she is fighting a valiant battle. Three more weeks until the intake at the psychiatrist's. I hope he'll be a good one and able to help her through this.
hmmm, prolly got a good point liz.
Hope so
Both are a bit terminal.
sprite, any way you can be in on the first consult.
she wouldn't want me to, honey. She is very much her own woman... needs to do things her way.
perhaps then. be sitting in the waiting room, in case she needs to debrief?
I think she’s right. Best help from you is to be there for her, which you are.
She’ll talk if and when she wants but she knows you’re there to listen.
that's about it. I will offer, rose. She will probably turn it down, but that is okay. She knows we are there when she needs us, any time, no questions asked. I guess that is the most important thing.
i just feel that with this consult she may need firm assurance that you both are willing to do whatever it takes.
okay, offer sent :) Thanks, both of you, for caring and helping me think. Time to get ready for the meeting, for me. *hugs* to all 4 of you. Have a lovely evening and a peaceful night.
Have a lovely day. Hugs
bless you sweetie. xoxox for you both. and more xoxox for liz and her beloved

morning, all! happy monday!
Hi Eva.
hello, Dr S!
Things are better today so I may as well be cheery like you, Eva and Judi. The power came back on. The sump pump is working again, after I fixed the float, so my subbasement is no longer flooded with 6 inches of water. The musty smell is gone thanks to the dehumdifiers...and my migraine is gone.
Clue for ho7?
I need 2 more Ms on the right.
not sure im actually cheerful, just faking it for a rainy monday. heh
15 left. think I'll go list.
Glad things are better, scrabs
I'm seeking, and failing to find the du5. Can anyone point me in the right direction (and good afternoon all)
Ugh. Sorry to hear about your flood, Scrabbs. What a mess. Did you have anything stored in the subbasement that got ruined?

I remember a sump pump failure in my family's home several years ago when I was still a teenager. Trotted down the stairs to the basement to fetch something. "Uh, Dad... the basement's flooded!". We had about a foot & 1/2. Ooh you should have heard the stream of curse words out of dad's mouth.
The game one wads what I needed, thanks!
It has happened many times here, Judi. I should spend the big bucks for a home generator.
Or you could get a mini one, just for the sump pump.
Oh, I hadn't thought of that.
What does the other 7 start with? I have the Ho7, thanks to Scrabbler. :-)
he 7/40

Oddly enough, zootier is a word in Enable.
But I guess "zoot" by itself isn't there because it's only used as part of the phrase "zoot suit".
