BBL
Good morning! l think winter arrived and l can't get the firee started.
Flames!
Wtg Ruby :) Bundle up in a throw 'til the room warms up
We've got a frost here, this morning, I would not like to be without heating either (still in bed at the moment)
Time to get up though :(
Dogs make me get up
At least the prredicted rain didn't arrive
Aw, but I bet they make warm companions too
melded
sorry
They're lovely, but never even tried to get on furniture or into the bed
ugh, I hate rain + cold, give me sharp cold mornings
uh oh, the fire just died, but it's not so bad
Good morning all. May I please have a clue for ci7-32? Thanks
Can you restart it again just for a little while?
(I'm chilly on your behalf)
Good morning (noight?) Peach. l don't have it
me either, Peach... looking
Thanks anyway, ruby. Keep warm, ruby. I know it isn't always easy....perhaps the boy will light the fire before he takes the dogs out.
Thanks much, juniper.
No boy today, but l'm OK
ci 7/32 someone who recites something (I think)
I think the rest of this grid will have to wait until I'm properly awake - it's sticky for a small one. Have a good day, everyone.
You too, juniper.
Amazingly, the first half was easy, even for me!
Bye juniper
Good going, ruby. I have 2 left and I just cannot find them.....ci7-32 and de6-24.
How are you doing, Peach?
How are you doing, Peach?
Doing fair, thanks ruby. The cold weather is not helping my arthritis. Try not to complain, but sometimes the going is tough. How are you?
Much better than last year
Oh, that is good to know.
l just monkeyed the ci7: it's an unlikely form, starts with beginning of big town,
thenand, one who does 4 down and a slight turn to the left
sorry, besides being a bad clue, it got garbled!
4 straight down, then a little circle in the corner
Oh, thanks so much, ruby. only have the de6-24 left.
You found it? l'm glad as it was a terrible clue
Well, dear ruby, I wouldn't have found it on my own.
I need to feed the dogs and give the little one his insulin. He gets it every 12 hours. BRB
It's time to get organized & dressed/ l'm invited out for lunch, but l look a fright!
l give up on the fire
I'm back.
I'm back. He is taking his medicine very well. Glad you are going out for lunch. Have a great time. Blessings
FW fiinally. Blessings all.
Congrats, Gapeach!
I wonder why ladies can not debra.
((zzoozz)) arre you heree?
I am, ((Ruby))
You okay?
The boy just came to walk the dogs and they were so happy to see him.
Bless them I bet they are bouncing around sniffing everything they can find lol
l'm OK, chilly, but not terribly. How are you? Did you get thee bad weather they preedicted for here?
79 words earlier, but no nbt
No bad weather here but up north of England there was some flooding. Here now is sunnyish cold around 5c and cold in my house lol
Sounds like here
I am at 86 words and have slowed right down.
No i have no corner C or the 'i' below that nor do I have the N in the middle.
I have three 7s though.
l monkeyed the c7 but don't have the lower d or the a and o on the right.
l gave a terrible clue for the C7, but peach found it anyway. You can smoke the other one
AO 6/21
OR 5/16 x 2
Oh wow thank you, Ruby! How did I miss the smoke one.
The ci7 goes straight down and then makes a little circle
ty for the ao but still looking for the o
found an o
Think of a blod vessel to the heart.
Sorry that was for the AO 6 lol
One of the Os is a PT
Now l'm only missing the lower d (+ 51 other words) but don't really care. LOL
DE 4/7 money issues
extends to a DE 6/27
thanks
Welcome :-)
Do you have any stats for the right 'i' ?
I will have to go very soon. Need to get to parents.
I am guessing it starts with ig
Ig4, eskimo house
OKay I am officially crap at this game lol
For pme, no compulsion to finish, just happy with half, nbt and nbs (small goals) and seeing if there are any "friendlies" in heere
Amazes me how I can find much harder words than that yet simple words I do not see.
l'm just happy to see you; it makes my morning!
As long as you are enjoying the game is all that matters, Ruby! Good company is a very big bonus of course!
Aww thatnk ((Ruby)) It is always nice to see you here too!
Thank you*
Yes, Nothing to prove!
The boy is raking leaves
Oh he is back already! He is a good helper that one, Ruby. Maybe he would like a nice hot cup of tea!
He doesn't walk them long enough, but it's better than Nothing.
Yes I did think it thought it sounded rather quick.
Since no one came yesterday, they were very happy.
Geez my sentences are getting worse. But you knew what I meant lol
I used to type well, but not any more!
My typing seems to be going down hill. yours is fine, Ruby.
This computter capittalizes randomly and doubles letters
(as you can see LOL)
l supported myself as a typist all through college
I keep telling myself that too but really it is my fingers that do it LOL
And you're just a kid, compared to me!
Wow you must be able to type very fast then. I am a sort of one finger typing with a cup of tea in the other hand. Or a bar of choclate lol
We are all kids at heart, Ruby :-)
It is our bodies that dis-agree with us.
l used to be fasst and accurate, but that was before computeers
You think? l feel Young until l look in the mirror
Oh thos typewriters I could not use very well. The keys would always get jammed.
I know, Ruby, our bodies can only do so much these days. but we need to saty positive and keep going the best we can.
Stay*
I need to get going now, Ruby, as parents will be waiting for me. I hope you have a really nice day. And try and stay warm ((Ruby))
Bye to zzoozz's back. Gardener just arrived to prunr the rosees.
ci7, please?
Eg. Hitler, Stalin, Gadaffi and remove the first letter.
thanks
Pleasure
"ludo" not allowed then. Brand name?
tarred
garn
sorry
talking to myself again
that's ok, Sam, I do it all the time
Keep in mind, the Enable Word List is almost twenty years old without an update. Words like ludo (which I'm pretty sure is a proper noun) came along well after the word list.
and yet icemud is somehow not accepted :-p
I step in icemud all winter when I hike in the woods. Reasonable word, Dan.
good morning, everyone
Early for you, Nan.
We very seldom see ice, but even I thought that was a word!
has anyone asked dr. god about an Enable upgrade? or using another dictionary?
it may be a cost thing
using another dictionary would require me to rewire a whole storage area of my brain :-)
True.
yes -- been awake for over an hour, so finally just got out of bed.
I have ci7, er7, ra7, sc7, to7 and tr7x2; can anyone tell me which one I'm missing?
I have none yet, SJ
Well, there's a list to get you started :)
it seems the only freely available version of Enable is from 2008. Even Zynga uses it and adds their own words. Hence Babble's word woes.
interesting, can we add our own words to the dictionary? that could be a new feature where we submit words for consideration
I'd be surprised if drgod wanted to be that arbiter, though
to Enable, no. Dr God would have to open up his own copy of Enable, and create a function for that, and then review all the additions...
Can anyone give me stats for the E in the first column?
ed4/6 ed5/12
ed 5/12
ed 4/6
thanks, both of you
em7 Samantha

ra7 is a style of music -- also a book and movie
ra is a compound word - think Scott Joplin
The ra is a kind of music, *and* it's a compound word
duh - ty luv
TY x 3.
:-)
The to starts out like illegally downloading music or books from a bit ****ent site, and ends in a suffix that's more commonly spelled with an I
yes x 3 -- saw luv's clue first
even have a book of his music
Too cryptic for me, SJ. Another clue, please?
to + double consonant + suffix that ends with high point tiles and the sometimes vowel?

Hi Ori!
Lo Bea, it's like a Flo-Bee without the F : D

Listening to a 10 year old trying to teach his deaf Papa how to play a new video game...oy!

Haskell. (Covering for ori)
Aw, you are so sensitive. There is a room here, you know. : P
Hi Ru
Hi hego
:)
People in the sensitive room don’t care for me though
That's their problem.
Ha. Thanks
my kid has a friend who reminds me so much of Eddie Haskell.
He's all polite when he's at our house, but apparently he's a terror at school.
The world needs more tolerance.
lol Harry
Just cannot see to7/48 or tr7/36 top one. Help needed PLEASE
tr7/36 sounds like what you do to a bike to make the wheels go around
Bless you Molly
to7/48 sounds like "the scary decorations with ho7 everyone" but spell it differently.
Bonus: ends in sometimes vowel
Thanks again Molly - Fireworks
Thanks for the to7 clue., Molly
looking back in the chat, the first tr7/36 seemed
sorry pressed enter before I had finished.I will try again.
looking back in the chat, the first tr736 seemed to be a strange word to most people ... but it is a well known word here.
Lots of US people are not familiar with Brit terms.
But then, we have lots of words for prostitute or strumpet
yes Mollie .. I should have realised that as we are not familiar with USA terms too ..... so I will go and sit in the corner!! LOL.
Oh, no need to sit in the corner.
am I forgiven? :-)
Can I give any clues before I cause too much more trouble?
No trouble caused. No need for forgiveness.
thanks Molly .... I assume you have finished, so you do not need my help.
I must go now and get some shut-eye. Goodnight everyone and thanks Molly.

that's ok. i just throw them out there. if they get answered, fine, if not, also fine :)
but wait...is there really a dwarf in the grid??
yes, but it's a proper noun, so it doesn't count
fred?!?
gimli
hmmm, never heard of him
he's in Lord of the Rings
ah, read the hobbit but did not get thru trilogy
Grendle
maybe i should try again
One of my friends had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with that name and he told me.
gimli, or grendel? grendel's from beowulf, and a monster, not a dwarf
Not sure what you all are looking for but gi5,16 can be obtained by replacing first three letters of our login name.
I can't get either of the to7 clues from earlier
to + to finance your house again (slang version)
