Jimmel is a name for our husband-wife Babble team...not very original, but keeps the peace!

He (Jim of Babble name) is a watercolor artist, accomplished tennis player, naturalist, and a retired research scientist (metallurgist), originally from Ohio.

She (Mel in jimmel --for Melanie) is a retired educator originally from Michigan---also a designer, writer, director of musical theatre---

We're privileged to live in Eastern Tennesse now where we can view the Smoky Mts as well as the shimmering lake waters just outside our door---our playground for boating, sailing and fishing. Paradise!

Both are avid readers, lovers of word games, decent photographers, and musically-minded.

Six kids between us; six grandchildren between us, too...
