i have been truly blessed as i have the flu vax every year, and haven't had so much as a cold for nearly 20 years.
got the flu vax too. Here, it's a vaccin compiled of the flu viruses most likely to hit us, and it protects against those flu viruses only. No protection against colds and none against other flu strains.
here influenza A hit us hard. that is the one which has been killing so many people from a few months old to 30-40 years old. it has been devastating.

our state parliament has just passed a bill to allow euthenasia. and our federal parliament has passed a bill to allow same-sex marriage. it really does not matter what i think but i have deep sorrow because of my beliefs. but knowing people which these two bills/acts will effect i cannot speak out against either.
i feel so divided. my nurturing, mothering side says i am glad for the people effected.i want everyone to have what i have... a loving marriage... and the right to say when i want to die.
I am fully pro the marriage thing. And carefully pro euthanasia. When life has become unbearable, a dignified euthanasia beats the hell out of jumping in front of a train, as far as I am concerned.

our government is talking of bringing them to court for discrimination.
that's taking it too far, imo. Freedom of speech should be guaranteed for church officials too. Nobody is obliged to go and listen to them, so let them express their beliefs. As long as they don't urge people to prosecute homosexuals or any other minority.
