Clues are up
not finding any more tonight -- see you tomorrow
fw
good morning all
cooee dearest sprite. hugs honey and how are you doing?
i had the mother of all tantrums this morning...talk about Jesus in the temple. i was trying to sort out what we needed to man yet another table t sell tickets. don played is are you talking to me? when i asked him to retrieve something. i just picked up everything, and flung it out the door.
i burst into tears....and told him that as he was a co-coordinator for this mission i expected him to help. this stuff doesn't just sort itself out.
aw sweetie, how ghastly :(
*holds rose in a comforting hug*
s'okay sweetie. thanx though. we made up, AND he apologised to me first. and that is a FIRST !!
wow, good for him!
I am okay, no worries
good. and the rest of the family ?
tim is doing great. caya is managing, rob was actually a little bit less down yesterday.
my heart goes out to you honey. why are we on opposite sides of the globe? i would love to be there for you all.
oh rose, I wish you were here too. Ugh, now I am tearing up. Guess I am still a bit wobbly.
*hands out the tissues* sweetie i am only a thought away i guess.
on the plus side, the night before last I woke up around midnight and couldn't get back to sleep. Got up, Tim was up too and we spent hours together, drinking whisky and talking, talking, talking. It was great.
you are :) We are close, even if it is not in miles.
oh, what a fantastic way to spend a night. bless you both.
I have told him how proud I am at him, and at how he has grown up in the last year. He agreed that he had learned so much about life and people in his work.

Morning all. May I please have
a clue
for be6-33? Thanks
hiya peach, of course. Any particular one or will any clue do? :)
Can't believe I did that.
be6. be + insect which infests animals
*giggles* Lovely to see you. How are you doing, peach?
Hey there, Sprite and
rose
roflolll. peach. hi there yourself
worm, wurm, tick, lintworm... :D
that is one odd word, btw
and how is your sister doing?
yup. just wait til you find the next be6
I have a combo after that, 6-7, that looks more like a last name than a word.
nope, be6/27
will let you know what I think of it after finding it :D
*giggle*
yeah. Oddball.
Well, my dears, I think I've done enough damage for now. Must feed critters anyway. See y'all later. Blessings
ooroo, peach
be blessed, peach. I hope you are doing okay. You didn't answer my questions about you :)
Good morning fellow Babblers xx
hi worzel
Morning Sprite
g'day worzel. how are you mate?
Good morning mum I'm not too bad, bit of pain again in my tummy but there are a lot worse off than me!! How are you and Dad? xx
all good now mate. had a bit of a dust up this morning. have made up, so we are good. very tired. have been up since 6am, that was 13 1/2 hours ago.
I always say the best relationships are built on small bust-ups and massive make-ups! How is your cardio therapy going?
i think the physio is a witch in disguise. i ache all over for about a day and a half.but i will not give up.
Don't they say that you have to suffer to survive? No pain no gain and all that? I'm glad you have the strength and resilience to carry on with it though - we're none of us ready for you to go anywhere just yet young lady!! We all love you too much
amen to that
*big grin* thanx for that... both of you. as for your first two sentences of that post.... nope, not gonna say it...but consider them erased... with a hammer !!
phantom: pothole
which reminds me, rose... when you and don come back here, we will have to ask tim to organise a whisky sampling session for us all.
I don't seem to be doing well with this grid at all. I very rarely finish a grid but there was one day last week, about 125 words I think, and I finished the grid in under two hours!
0000hhhh, that sounds wonderful....
do i have to stand up when we have finished?
this is not an easy grid. Not many series
nah, we'll stack you and don along the wall, you'll be fine
I hope you both like brandy because when you come here again that's what you'll be having haha, I don't like whisky!
oh, okay th4. sounds okay to me
we had another dusting of snow this morning. I am so glad to be home, and not freezing in germany
fireflies
WTG SPRITE !!
we're snowed in Sprite
We've had another dusting of snow too, not so much as the other night, and it's bitingly cold too
Congrats on fireflies
oh wow, ro, that is horrible
thanks, both of you :)
nah... its ok... we have enough food til the thaw...tho the fruit bowl is looking a tad depleted...
ro, I hope you have all you need to survive in your cupboards and you don't have to dug your way out
cross posts... that is all good then. If it takes longer than a week or two, you need to let beans sprout and eat the sprouts :D
well... we can walk up to the village... the local FB page is alerting everyone to what shops are open
I am off for now. *hugs* for who wants them. An extra hug for rose, of course. Y'all have a blessed day and a peaceful night, in any desired order.
(((hugs))) sprite take care
{{sprite}} hugs and kisses honey.
rose, honey... please please try not to overdo things? You know this is too much, right? So take extra good care of you... *hugs*
Right, I too must take my leave of you all as this shopping isn't going to do itself. Mum you make sure you continue to rest and recuperate xx
byeee dear man. love to diane too.
ns
oops - sorry!
.
nh

will spring ever come?
*Hands Ruby a hot toddy

hello, molly
uwith this snow they've stopped delivering mailo!nlike the US,
pelt
sorry, l can't type this am
There was some pretty insane wind damage around here yesterday. Lots of damage from trees down.
At least theree's no Wind here, just very cold & snow
wind can be very scary!
I heard a 40-foot tree go down out behind my place. That is an ugly sound.
Are you safe?
I'm fine. The tree that went down went into the back yard of one of the townhouses behind me. Took out their fence and their shed. Not sure about the house, I didn't venture that far.
I sent you a picture, if your Yahoo is working.
Thanks nfor tthe picture; your neighborhood looks very pretty!
Pls forgive the typos, but l'm so bundled up, l can barely move my arms & my eyes are blurry
Well, that is not the most flattering picture of my neighborhood. There are several of those big pines out back and I was worried about more of them going over yesterday.
Because l am near a large lake with its own valley, sometimes the wind comes through with huge force
PB for me; l hadn't gotten to H yet! bad Nel!
Ah well, we all end up in the PB at one time or another.
One would hope....
The wind has finally died down. It is disturbing to listen to the sound of wind that loud for almost 24 hours.
That happens here, someytimes, eeven in summer, & the dogs hide in the close
closet*
I know why they say a tornado sounds like a train. Wind that fierce does sound like an oncoming train.
Exactly!

Hi kids. Northeast folks, are you safe? You may not even be here because of no electricity.
Hi Scrabbler
Hi Flask. DId the UK storm hit you?
Oh yes......piles and piles of snow everywhere.....but hopefully its on its way out now....
Snow is lovely in small doses.....
its worse down the Southwest and Wales now Scrabb, up North it is starting to meltin the valleys, roads are clear, supermarkets have now milk (disaster) should be all back to normal on Monday.
I have seen photos from Babbler Liz ELmont.
the thing is we are just not used to this amount these days so the country comes to a standstill.
Remind me to never wish I'd live in a beach house
Yes, I am watching The Weather Channel and the beach homes are damaged and destroyed.
I passed halfway and dislike this grid. See you tomorrow.
l8r Scrabb
sandr, how much did you get?
bichon it always seems like a nice idea but it isn't really I have a friend who lives in fl he recently told me that when he and his wife retire they want to live on the beach. He says weather permitting. she is from fl so she probably has no other option in her head or heart.

Greetings, fellow Earth dwellers.
Oh look, it's Judi
Yay. I am not destined to wander the Earth alone. Hiya, Molls!
We are either wandering alone, or wandering around morons. Much like the ones in the Starbucks parking lot that I just made it home alive from.
Strange. I would think everyone in a Starbucks parking lot would be awake and alert.
No, they are jacked up and pulling out of parking spaces without looking.
While looking at their freaking phones.
Glad you escaped with your life.
Me too. I am not a Starbucks person. I only go there once a week because I love my boy and he likes his caramel coffee.
Ooh. I found the Oc6 kitty cat.
*Judi shows off by finding a word
Did you already have that word?

Good Evening.I seem to get here just after people leave this week. :-/
Hi Nef! I'm popping in and out while cleaning. Nice to see you.
Hi Ori! How are you doing (besides being much more ambitious than I am today)
Cluemfor the lone e in the fourth column?
Doing OK. How is your hand?
eieios, Sorry, I don't have it.
doing okay, Ori. I've had to clean out our new microwave twice because it's stronger than our old one & DH was trying to melt butter (a whole stick) and it blew up for him (he didn't set the temp right). The second time *I* blew up a stick of butter in it even though I dialed it way down & was watching it. Nothing was changing; & then BLAM!! The whole inside of the micrwave was full of butte.
We will be melting butter on the stovetop from now on I think.
et 6....first three letters of a gas + not yeses....
hi Nef, ori....
Hi Pen.
eieios, el 5/12; when you run away to marry
Nef is right, I am wrong.....i was clueing the third column E....
thanks for the clue, though pen; I needed that one too.
yw...
really leaving now....bye all....
Bye pen; HAGD!
hego is in the grid!
Hi TO. How are you doing?
Too bad names are't considered words, right?
hi nef
I like your icon; that deer looks downright inquisitive!
vermin with antlers.
I take it you have too many in your area?
yes
We have numerous deer around here too; and every so often the cities will decide that some need to be culled. But we live right on the edge of our city boundary, & 2 others; & the deer seem to move from 1 city to another when each city decides to cull them (because, of course, they don't decide to co-ordinate the culls on the same day!
were you caught up in superbowl madness?
they
LOL! No; we stayed up here in our little suburb, away from the crowds, & behaved.
they are still celebrating here
i must go. i jus thad the most god aeful cramp in the bottom of my foot. happens occasionally and it's just excruciating.
You're in PA? I'm upset by the PA fan who ripped a seat out of our brand new stadium! WHY???
it feels as if it will go any minute.
OUCH!
nele
i was screaming. good thing no one heard
i jus twish i knew ehat causes them. i looked up cramp in ball of foot but no luck, it comes up pain in ball of foot.
And my son was yelling at me about his extreme right wing politics and I put a non word in chat. sorry.
TO, is it always in the bottom of the foot? what helps it (Stretching, exercises, foot massage, etc.)?
Have you ever had it checked out by either a podiatrist or your PCP? Maybe an x-ray is in order?
generally the ball of the foot, nearly to the arch but not the arch. other times toes, but ball of foot is most common. i was going out to lunch with my friday crew and i had to leave, the pain was so intense. i walked three city blocks before i walked it out
NOTHING helps, really. sometimes putting weight on it, tonight heat eventually
were you wearing heels or flats? That really sounds miserable!
i had trouble getting the slipper off to apply heat, it was so painful to do so
was wearing sneakers then slippers
seems to happen with shoes with flex in the soles.
I've heard of foot cramps from wearing heels before; I don't know what causes foot cramps, but I do know that taking Magnesium can help cramps in the calves of the legs.
Have you tried orthotics?
TO, hello. may i suggest you purchase some magnesium MALATE through the vitacost site. it is the only form of magnesium which helps me.
Hi granny, how are you? (and I've heard that daily magnesium may cause loose stools for some people, so be careful, TO)
ty
hi nef . yes it can, but i take mine at night. that way if there is a rush it is first thing in the morning and then it is over for the day. i suggest, TO, that you start with 1/2 tablet and see how you go. i also suffer from scalp cramps, and i take one tablet and 20 minutes later i am cramp free.
i am going to take my calcium +m minterals now. I feel as if it's coming back
it sounds pretty miserable, TO! Do whatever helps; but you should get it checked out if it's this bad!
how can it be checked if it's not occurring?
I finally found that 5th column singular "N" (ne 5/12)
That took me a while too.
tell them how bad the cramp is & how often it happens; if it's that severe that you scream with pain; there *has* to be a reason for it. & I suspect that it might show up on X-rays or an MRI
ty i must go. i am trying to edit photos from the mummers' mardi gras we attended last sunday. it is a pain
The only place I've ever heard or seen that word is here in Babble; and there's no definition in Enable (but it's in other dictionaries)
Okay, TO. Do get your foot checked out too!
what word?
ne 5/12, TO
Just need the two first B words
be6, be + insect infesting on animals
be6. be + jump
I haven't gone to the list yet, sukee; but my first B words are what keeps you pants up & pl
Ty rose
Two before that nef
those be words are bs
FW...that first word is strange.
WTG SUKEE!!
YAY, sukee!!! WTG!!!
TY.
I should play at night more often, seem to do better.
I need a break; not half way yet but I hope to finish tonight.
Take care, Nef.
Was making dinner and such.
