Mul don't know if you're on still...r's in bed he crashed about 20 minutes ago..so we didn't go to rosie's. rats. i'll call you with plans for tomorrow. Night all..safe babbling.. POOF
Atlatl - A throwing device usually consisting of a stick fitted with a thong or socket to steady the butt of a spear or dart and extend the length it travels. When I attended archaeology camp in high school, we learned about and used atlatl's. They are rather ingenious. They make bringing down any large mammel, e.g. a mammoth, much easier. When using an atlatl, one does not have to get so close to the animal when launching your spear. The etymology of the word (where it is derived from) is from The Uto-Aztecan language of the Nahuatl, which are part of any of various Indian peoples of central Mexico, including the Aztecs. Just an F.Y.I. for anyone interested...tee hee :)
