hi cos. How's it goin today?
hello not good
where oh where has my lickety gone? oh where oh where can he be? with his li4 so long, and his clues so good, oh where oh where can he be?
Ah. Wondered if you were still here. Misread the time! Something new?
*gently holds cos in my arms* use my shoulder de4 friend.
doctor today said days left
Gooooooooood morning fellow Babblers xx
Hi Rose! I'm needing Lickety too, but I'll bet when he tried to make his list the site was still down.
Cos, I'm so sorry to hear your news.
Cos, I thought he was talking months.
not anymore jwr
ahhhh, poor cos. sweetheart, make the most of them. hold Ryan's hand, talk to him, tell him everything you want him to hear.
its too hard
hes 34
Are you angry with him for leaving you?
furious scared terrified sad depressed
i miss him
no cos, do it. yes it is hard, and you'll probably weep the whole time. but do it, otherwise you may have to live with i wish i had....and that is the worst feeling i can tell you. i never told my best friend to shut up and have the second lot of chemo, and i live with that everyday, thinking that second lot of chemo may just have saved her.
Too much, cos. You have to drop it all - one word, one feeling at a time, let it go - and just think of sending love. Share some private (very private) secret between you, remind him. Clear your heart and your head will follow.
you and Ryan deserve to share with each other for the last few days. are there facilities at the care place where you can sleep in his room, be with him every given moment?.
cos he is still with you. he can hear you. talk to Ryan.
listen to rose, cos. It's the truth.
cos, do you want Ryan to go without knowing how much you love him, how much you are going to miss him? TELL HIM... you have the right, and so does Ryan.
If you're going to stay online for awhile, cos, tell us how you met Ryan, what he gave you in spirit, did you work together? travel? which of you was the best cook?
I've got to get back to the lines, rose. We're busy tonite. See if you can get cos to call a crisis line. bye
test
oops sorry
*sigh* stuck with 59 to go.
You are way closer to the finish line! I'm going to have to go sleep soon and try again tomorrow!
Hmm. I need 89 but have had lots of interruptions so not really concentrating

Bonjour
Did you request a big grid madame? There you go. : D
Hello Molly
still no e-mail, even in the "fixed" laptop
My phone bill soars because people think l've died!
Set up a new one.
l think the repaired one contracted a virus; lt flashes at me and talks!
fens
sorry
I would suggest getting a new one then. Laptops are not that expensive these days. And if you do, be very careful what you open in your email. Never, ever click on a link in an email. That is how most people get virus and malware on their computers.
aaah, l didn't know that
I think I will go restock the PB. With no Lickety, li4 is going to land a lot of people in there. : D
see you leter

WOW!! 404! looks like Babble has risen from the dead! LOL
OH happy day! Big grid, slow work day...HEAVEN!

thanks
oh no.. should have checked before i started
No, dive in and type away, Owl.
have plans for tonight, do not want to be working this at midnight
i am rather miffed that i could not finish last night. down to four and typing in the 4th and 3rd words when the server went down
I didn't know that happened. How frustrating for all that wanted to finish.
Hi Scrabs
Hi bichon. How are you today?
i was searching for may day morris when i noticed that there is one is your city, scrabbler.
What is that?
Sick. Have laryingits, swollen sinuses, bad cough. Hope you're better than I am
sorry, bich
I am well. Respiratory viruses are annoying, but you will improve.
Luv, can't find traderkate in the rankings
I don't this is a virus. I tend to get swollen sinuses once a year. Unless I am incorrect
COuld be allergic, I guess, but pollen counts are zero around here so far. More likely viral.
fins
Free word.
pollen counts are extremely high here - oak, maple and birch
The last of snow in my yard melted yesterday.
just went to rankings and she is there - go to Rankings by clicking above, when you are there you use <control> and <f> and then type in traderkate. She is in both the left and right columns. click on her name to get to her profile
teach, did you hear that the camp at buffalo gap is beting revived?
Scrabs, my bet is with allergies. Taking a prednisone burst
Oh, you have asthma?
Yes, which is controlled with Advair, usually
Are the trees blooming there?
Yes, I guess. Have been sick for 3 weeks
We are about 4 weeks behind on spring and will even get a bit of snow tonight.
Didn't go doctor sooner as we went on our cruise in France
Had never heard of that festival/camp but went and explored their information. Sounds intereting, but it is about 3 hours from here.
Ah, maybe allergens in Europe set you off.
Perhaps, wh knows. Keep waking up coughing
ge 7/36, pls
A night-time cough is likely from inflamed airways. Does albuterol help?
help with po9 pls. not sure which po4 starts thepo4,6,8,8,9,8
No, hoping the prednisone will do its magic
It starts to work in 8-12 hrs. When did you start?

morning ML...happy Friday
Hello, Mool :-)
hey there zoo...happy friday to you too...hopefully heading into a good weekend in ol' blighty
Big grids return with an earsplitting roar!
and a good number of longer words too doug
I hope so too, Mool. Although I will do nothing special myself just the normal going to see parents to help them out which I like doing. And onSunday weather permitting we will hit the carboot sales.
Hope you will have a great weekend :-)
yeah, have a birthday party to take my daughter to tomorrow...wife is having over her knitting group this evening
Nice I hope your daughter has a great time!
50/50 :)
I am sure your wife can knit you a nice jumper ready for next winter!
she made me a nice hat this past winter
The weather here at the moment is crap with lots of heavy rain. and more expected tomorrow and Sunday evening into Monday :-(
Nice! I hope you wore it?
bummer....we're about 22C today, bright sunny
though we had snow/rain mix on monday
and a high of about 2C
Sounds lovely. We had hot weather here for about three days a week ago and that was the end of that lol
well it doesn't green over there because of lack of rain :)
Wow your temperature fluctuate rapidly ove a short space of time!
it looks like a desert in comparison here in Colorado
yeah, we're a long way from the ocean
hi mool you could learn to sew/knit too ya know?
and a mile in elevation
I'm not as interested in learning to be honest ML
nbt, but not NBT-1, because I thought that er4/4 would be a word for the southeast e instead of the northwest e
lol
party pooper mool
oh no, I get all the snacks and help get the house ready, I'm a party enabler :)
Have you ran out of pictures, Mlf?
no zoz the last time the computer did a big update my pic disappeared
Oh that is strange. I wonder what happened there?
Happy Friday Babblers
to you too christa
hi all, back to find more words
And to you too, Christa :-)
missing lots of 8
Hello, Peri :-)
letter words
zooz wish I knew I really want to get it back...
hey peri
119 left, nice grid so far
just over half way on the 8s
hey mool
peri I only have 6 of the 8 letter words
12 eights here
12 here too
and I appear to be stuck :(
gray, rainy day here. supposed to get to the 80's next week. I am looking forward to it
only about a quarter of the words I have left are 4s...which is a little concerning
peri we are supposed to get rain here today its grey and bright
just keep typing away mool
Why does everywhere else seem to get nice warm or hot weather and it is always ruddy cold and damp here in the UK :-(
What happened to sharing guys!
welcome to come visit zoo :)
99 to go
the weather is punishing you for having erased all those vintage Doctor Who episodes LOL
LOL
I like that, BDG!
I thought it was the weather-god truck driver
haha zoom - no pleasing us - we are in autumn and still having temps in the very high 20's C -- we long for cooler weather here
btw, has Capetown run out of water yet?
Bless you ((Ursh)) hope it cools down for you soon.
oh, there's another 8
no D day is looming - they have had rain in the past couple of days - imagine Capetonians running around naked dancing in the rain
response is my phantom of the moment
I just found two pa8s
interesting image ursh
when I visited London years ago for 8 days it was mums day during one of those days
Cape Town is a winter rainfall area and very windy as well - so naked rain dancing is not very comfortable
(you can add an S to one of those pa8 words)
it was chilly and cloudy but we had a little rain
ty book
odd 8 is the ad8 - plural greek god
handsome greek god
tx ursh, didn't think to make it plural
Would someone be so kind as to offer the stats on the southeast e word that isn't en6/18?
ursh how many ad8's?
EN6/21
EN + hip hop singing + consonant
two
Oh poo I did it again. Sorry it was stats you wanted not a clue. Very sorry, Douglas.
tks ursh, weird plural
en6/21 i hold you tight in my arms (archaic spelling)
I have the pl ad word
I have the greek gods. help with the other ad8 pls
peri ad 5 7 7 8
there are two ad plurals
found it. those who decorate?
Thanks. I am occasionally hip hop singing + consonant, but rarely en + hip hop singing + consonant
exactly peri
ad 5/7/7/8/6 to make beautiful
got it ty ursh
lol
can I get a break down clue for the clue peri just gave I have those?
ursh are you still playing serpentine?
yes peri - but i am fairly useless
running off to do important stuff again, *poof*
ok I am now beachcat there.
i don't play serpentine much anymore
oh ok will look out for you
for the other ad words
I am rubbish at it too.
I really like it but there are lots of really good players
if you were to convert a 17th century aristocrat into a cool dude, wouldn't you defop?
or word i have 5 7 7 8
Not keen on the time pressures.
not keen on the dictionary :)
ty mool you gave me a fo 4
agree zoom - my brain and fingers dont work that fast and agree mool some ridiculous words
yw ML
and if a swamp is drained in Italy, would it be fenito?
serpentine take a while to learn words because some strange and stupid
Thanks to zoozzoom, I am now at NBT-2, exactly max(2, words on the tile) for every tile.
I believe they use the british scrablle dictionary, which is far more expansive than the us one
I am in the practice and easy rooms a lot
can i get a break down clue for the other ad word pls the greek god i have the 5 7 7 8
?
peri, does it help at all?
they used the same term to describe a guy with lots of muscles ML
an ad word???
yes
ad6
I heard Abba are reforming and producing two new songs!
I heard that too zozz. I like Abba
That should please (NOT) Molly & Ruru lol
yikes, how old are they now?
Me too, Peri. Abba are great. I suppose they are like marmite you either love or hate.
zooz tht is so cool.. in the movie theaters mama mia 2 is being released
well I looked it up...Bjorn turned 73 two days ago
i still don't understand this AD word?????
Younger than Mick jagger and he is still going lol
heh
if you were to tell someone off, yo'u'd ad8 them. now drop two of those letters, and the remaining letters spell the word you're looking for
everyone is younger than Mick Jagger
Or you could just Google for Greek gods that start with AD
LOL
Jagger will be 75 in July apparently
McCartney will be 76 in June
got ad 6
maybe they should all get together
yay
112 left and stuck
80 here, and going very slow
woot, just found 3 words
Question : Do people who want to join babble or Iron sudoku still have to pay the $15 lifetime membership fee to get all the stats data or has it become free for anyone new joining?
no idea
Someone posed a question on the Iron sudoku site and I tried to answer it the best I could but I was not too sure of the answer.
I just created a second, unpaid profile to test, and on Babble at least, I can see all the data
Yeah you will see it for two week period if I remember correctly then the data goes.
that is what I remember too
hi everyone - back for round 2
hi nan
Welcome back, Nan :-)
I think the membership fee disappeared a long time ago. I no longer see any reference to it on the websites.
NBT-3. For me, one of the beautiful things about Babble is the ability to go about the grid in any number of ways.
Ah thanks, Tallmike!
Ur welcome
was just scanning the chat ---- do non members get a profile with icons and all?
I don't think you can play unless you sign up. When you sign up, you get free membership.
I believe I have a profile if I care to fill it out.
I guess Dr. G. can't be bothered to collect it any more. It was $10 when I joined then changed to $15 about a year or 2 later.
I do not see a way to pay money to this site on this brand-new account.
Yes I paid $15 for babble & $15 for Iron sudoku. Still think it is the best $30 I have spent to date.
agreed zoom
Seems to be the answer then, Mool??/Leaflet
It's actually me/leaflet, but yeah, that seems to settle it.
Can't be bothered to collect? More likely, doesn't want to feel obligated to continue indefinitely.
Oh LOL sorry, SamamthaJoy :-)
Don't say that, Tallmike, We have already had a scare this week thinking it was the end of babble :-)
leaflet/sam are one and the same? - from the profile comment, I thought leaflet was Molly
All good things...
Life is ephemeral. Babble is a part of life. As much as we would like it to be eternal . . .
True but there have been other babblers say they are willing to carry it on if the owner wants to step away.
I am starting to sound like a babble addict.
Does anyone here have a habit of hiding tricky puzzle words in genuine looking posts? It might be fun. It might help me a lot too, heh heh
Could do it in numbers A =1 B =2 etc lol
uusue has a list of scientific words that show up in her profile ... if you go through some of the flippers I think one or two of them have lists of babblets in their profiles
Sprite has many in her profile too.
When I first signed up for an account, I had 2 weeks free, then had to pay. So the leaflet account should check in 2 weeks...just my random 2 cents - I just turned on my computer, and was faced with the incomplete puzzle - I conked out last night before I could finish.
Yeah it has changed to free now, Kamanjah.
How long ago Kaman?
NBT-4
this is turning into a beast without lickety
Mike, I don't remember, probably 5+ years ago.
ARB has a list in her profile
ty kaman -- like the icon, btw -- are you a violinist?
You joined on October 3, 2012, Kamanjah.
Violist
I am so pleased you didnt say 'for free' zoom. I hate that. When did the language change from free to for free?
professional?
Well, then 5.5 years, haha
No, semi-pro when I was younger, but I haven't even played in the local symphonies for about 5 years - an injury knocked me out of kilter.
lol -- haven't played for 57 years --- was going to try to pick it up again last year, then took my bow out of the case, discovered it had warped, found out it was going to cost $700 to replace the bow I had purchased for $68 in 1958 and that was the end of that!
* the pegs had shrunk and the modern pegs won't fit in the holes of my 100+ year old violin, so I would have to have new ones hand carved.
I miss playing because I always got better from being around professional violists who played in the symphonies I was in as a "community player."
I had to have a peg hand carved for my oldest violin. My dad's secretary's dad made it, it's a beautiful instrument.
Perhaps newer players do not have "profile" information (gender, country flag)displayed in the chog, nor do they have a profile link displayed on the rankings page. I have updated my profile numerous times in the past, but this information never displayed in Babble (though it does in IronSudoku).
JudyHall, I think you you must update your IronSudoku and Babble profiles separately. They are not linked.
122 to go and running out of words -- hopefully lickety will turn up later -- bfn
Yes, TallMike, I have slightly different profiles for Babble and IronSudoku. IronSudoku displays an avatar as the profile pic and the US flag in chat, whereas in the Babble chog, gender/flag does not display, but my profile pic does.
Holy Cow! 404 WORDS. No list? anywhere?? Please tell me it's in someobody's profile.
ARB created the list and it is in her profile
ty
oh no, words are disappearing again. this is impossible!
Just in case, I (hopefully) put a copy of ARB's list in my profile ...
Indeed you did, Judy, and it's much appreciated. :-)
And that list got me NBS & NBT. Thanks again, JudyHall.
must admit I'm not up on Babble acronyms, so I have to be reminded about what NBS and NBT mean (sorry Kate ... I can't find the message where you told me)
No blank stats & no blank tiles!

clue for the po series similar to the pa one: po 4,7,8,8,9

Be sure you eat and rest whenever you can. This kind of thing takes its toll on you.
hello everyone ... ((( cos )))
hi nan
there is not enough time for me to find the remaining 96 words -- not at the rate of one every 8 minutes!
Ohhhh... no Lickety today? That complicates things.
list is in Molly's profile
also in ARB's profile
thanks, not the same, but helpful

Cos, I don't know you but my heart goes out to you, and to your love.
Cos, I will hold you all in my prayers. May you find the comfort and strength you need.
Oh Cos - this is just so awful - thinking of your both and hoping that you can still find some quality time together. Stay strong.
hi all.
back to do more........
waiting for clues for others.
i heard there are several po words including a 9 and i just dont know the base word for that group.
wow - I think some of the words are from an english dialect spoken on another planet
the po root word is po 4/5, mlf -- he who writes verse and anything goes as far as suffixes are concerned - some real and some not
I would love clues for some of the 8s or 9s. 😉
just gave one, eieios
Oooh great minds.
ty for that clue nan. got all of them i think. ty.
That pesky g is giving me trouble as well.
you should have 6 of them including the root word, mlf
i have six of them nan. ty
there is a list in some of the profiles: arb, molly, JudyHall
nice group stemming from pa6.24 - where prisoners are let out before their time
and 4 priestly pa's as well
and a liquer - pa6.21 & 8.45
5 of them i believe. i have only 5 anyway
Hi all
Morning Liz
Hi Lyn - how are you and Patch? Has he settled in?
He has, very much so, he just needs to forget about his racing days - gets too excited seeing other dogs running, poor love
Can he not run at all now?
re 6-7 combo between advice and perform again, please?
Still missing loads of r's nan - sorry.
Not allowed off lead in public (by law) and no private places without driving an hour (for 5 minutes running - is it worth it?) - He does do excellent zoomies from back fence, accross yard and through house. Does that a few times a day. I then spend 15 minutes cleaning up the racetrack outside! ( I have sand rather than grass)
is it color + part of a fish?
Thanks Pen - that's 2 of my missing r's
That must be tough for him but at least he can run in your yard.
Love the idea of his roomies :)
yw...
zoomies!
my friend has two rescue greyhounds....nice dogs....
yes - ty pen
yw....
He loves doing it - especially when friends (dogs) come - it's his party piece - although we all get right out of the way - he's like a tornado
When I was growing up, our dog did something similar.
He was a mixture but def had greyhound or whippet in him.
are greys allowed off leash in England?
a lurcher then?
Not sure now. Not a lurcher. A small to medium size mongrel - with lots of terrier in him but also other breeds too.
BBL time for walk - down to 4 letters but still 52 to find
72 here.
Enjoy your walk
you can import a pestilance, but not twice?
:) You know enable!
** finito ** last word TR 6/18
Congrats, wvt
any clues needed?
i would need 79 of them... ;o)

Thanks, pen
yw....if you keep asking for words, i might find a few more that i need.... ;o)
going cross-eyed with these r's
i refuse to work with a printed list.....so i am quite stuck...
Still missing 17 of them - Haven't got to them on the list yet.
I got that way with about 80 left - went to the list then.
i am missing 12 R words...
pa 7/36 pls - the 4th word
Back for more words. Hi kids.
i only have a plural....you must be looking for another word...
Hi Scrabs
hi scrabs....
Penquis, some friends are going to Maine in the summer and I told them about driving up Rte 1 to ANP.
I also have a pa 7/36 plural - so I'll keep on looking.
same as the first pa 7/36 - change last vowel
i found one.....it starts with the same first four letters as the spanish father....ends with a number...
ah...yes....ty, nan....
I have that one - there's one 2 words later, which I'm missing
4th pa word is the italian bosses
if i stay here long enough, i might get down to 50 words!....at 71 now...
Anyone here ever watch Amazon's series, The Man in the High Castle?
no, but a friend of mine has....she liked it...
I must be spelling something wrong then. The one I'm missing is before the string of pa words meaning to forgive
I started last week and I am obsessed with it. I like historical fiction. This is so well done, and SO disturbing.
there are two pa 7/36 words...identical except for last vowel....
Got it - thanks for the help. Changed the last vowel.
ro 7-8 please?
Yes - my fault - when nan said change the last vowel, I was looking at the wrong word.
Don't have it. Sorry
whew....just found the de 6/8/8/9/7...
WTG
don't have the RO words....
is that the one with the matching re set?
yes...
monkeyed it
can you clue it?
latn round + last part of an underground stream

Thanks, nan. Good clues.
Made me think - with some help from my hubby!
Help with the pr 6/21 pls - after lying flat. Near the end of the pr words.
yw liz -- it was a tough one to clue
hmmm.....
I don't have the pr 7 or 8 following it either but I guess they're linked.
I still don't get it
70 r's greyed
me either....dk what an underground stream is....
WTG nan
or the first part of an underground stream
Try the end of the pine genus on that ro word
you buy a ro**isserie chicken at the deli and and underground stream is an aqua***
I mean, the first part of a BBQ device
Could think of Malaysian bread for the first part
I have it now, TY
ty, nan...
i don't think you can find Malaysian bread in Maine.... ;o)....but i got it....ty....
i found a pr 7/8.....you have to eat enough pr 7 if you are a vegitarian....since you don't eat meat....
Thanks Pen - really thought I'd tried that.
Lose the final letter for the pr 6 too.
ty....new word for me...
Just missing one of the p's now.
Haha. I am a vegan. There is no problem with that macronutrient.
And 41 other words too.
my goal is to get to 50....
168 left and I see nuffin'
well i know a couple people who did have trouble....their own fault, i guess....
About to hit the re words - there are a lot of them :(
re: hello

Good luck, liz.
Hi cosdem. I haven't seen you here in ages.
Hi Cos
hi yeah its been a while
thank god for unlimited membership huh
Yes.
How are you holding up?
eh just left the nursing home. ugh what a mess. im glad hs movning to his moms house tmorrow morning
urine stained sheets, bugs on floor, horrible odor
people screaming in hallways
how awful....and difficult for you as well....
I saw that in the chat when I woke up this morning. Sounds awful there - even worse now from your description :(. It'll be much better when you can be with Ryan all the time. Better not a particularly good word to use but you know what I mean.
no room for me to stay.. his mom and dad and stepmpm are there.. too crowded and i couldnt handl eit.... my friend, his best friend from childhood, is gonna sit with him overnight
and i will be staying at his moms house for a while with him
My mother was in a nursing home for 2 months a few years ago, for rehab after a hospital stay, and it was an awful place. And it was a highly-rated home too!
his mom asked me not to share on FB which is why I am venting here i am sorry
I do have therapy scheduled though.
You've got friends here who care - feel free to vent.
good heavens -- why hasn't the health department closed the home down?
There are far too many nasty stories about care homes. Makes me so angry that so little respect is given to those who need care.
we cant let his final days in in that place
My mother said, "This is a warehouse for the old and infirm."
a jail would be more nicer really
Hello all
Hi Owl
Hi TO
there are 2 sa 6/21's I can't find --- think they begin with tree juice
Hi scrabble, Liz, cos
hi owl
Have you got the 2 spellings of the chocolate pudding fruit?
I'm sure you can google that.
I am on the train home from the city . I see the list is not up
no -- pudding as in pudding or he british pudding which can be any dessert?
I emailed Lickety yesterday but guess he hasn't seen it yet.
Pudding fruit???
No, it's a S American fruit.
It tastes chocolatey.
no idea
tree juice + you learn by r***.....change last vowel for another word...
It's known here as a Chocolate pudding fruit.
Ends in another word for pan and then add a vowel
need two more to get to 50....
ty liz -- have never heard of it before
If you google chocolate pudding fruit - it's the first hit.
When it's ripe, it's yummy.
Ty
yw

pa 6/21 and pa 8/45 clued as liquer, further help please?
Begins with times which are not future or present.
I never got those words
Ends in present tense of to be
New words for me. pa6 is also the surname of the write of one of my favorite comics, Pearls Before Swine.
Thank you!
yw
ty I had the 6 :(
I never knew it could be made into a plural like that.
I was thinking of that 6 as "Cornish pa" alt sp...
Tils
Sorry!
nan hinted at 4 x pa words - "priestly" found the military god guy...see nothng else for that root though...eek!
All I got from that clue was the spanish for father. LOL
Try adding not off + vowel to the first 3 letters of the military god guy
Only military God guy I know is a chaplain....
eieis... sp father is bettter than mil. god gut...brain vapoirs here...
still trying liz, ty looking
Pa + consonant + male name (including not off) + vowel
Or, pa+those unmanned flying things that spy on people
Even better!
And change the final vowel for another word
TY, eieios!
sp 8/50 please?

no sp 8s here, sorry I have 2 sp 5/14 what you dig a hole wioth and a brand of fine china
For me too :)
ty svtabs!
that sp8 is a new word to me, it's an expansion of the 5/14 before it
Kate, did you get the link I sent?
the chog is surprisingly light on clues... same series over and over... :(
I was about to say that too!
8's complete.
what does the sp 8 follow..not sure where it fits into my large holes...
...or what the ending is.
After an sp 5/14 - 5th and 6th sp words
add a plural number to it, just don't double the vowel
follows the word like neutered missing the y
Kam... I couldn't get yahoo to load yesterday. had loading issues with almost everything. Haven't tried yet today...ah Lickety, I need you!
Got it. The "Singular" form doesn't work
ty nan, that gave me the 5/14 will look for the 8 now
clue for the sp 8 please liz?
Lickety would be great for this grid! I'm digging thru the ti and to groups, then have to return to finish the re words. 20 left...
Plae to get a massage = sp* + something completed is do** + s
sp 5/14 - digging implement. Then change the final vowel for another sp 5/14. The sp 8 ends in the plural of a number
Or what Scrabs said
ty liz
yw
Haha. I made it simple. This late, clues must be non-cryptic.
ty for the 8 (still 7 8's hiding
ah -- didn't have the 5 before it either

good night scrabbler.
g'nite scrabs and liz
*wondering what is dig up again and if i have it*
ty lynxx. I thought I had tried that, but obviously not.
This grid would be much easier if Lickety would get out of it and bring up his clues.
You'll need a shovel to do that Owl
The grid wasn't available when Lickety usually puts up the list.
aHA! TY!
TO could also do it by playing the high suit again, if she is a bridge player.
did anyone ask him if he had time to run his program?
no but i do play sp5s
am sure Rose would have - it is the weekend here and I know he is into sport so....
I'm missing one lousy R and cannot for the life of me figure out which one. 5 letters. Reloaded the page even, hoping it was hiding in cyberspace.
if i had excel on this machine it would be much easier
re5.16?
the 5/10 that ends in two vowels?
Maybe, hursh, I'm trying to go over them again, but my eyes are crossing, lol!
Hurshys one comes after the re & fork parts
Clue for the sa8,45 please.

I did message Lickety in FB, but there's not musch chance it will be seen.
So I babbled at work today using Lickety's list, thinking it was todays list.Logged in now to type in 56 words I found at work only to find today's grid has 404 words. YIKES!!!
Oh no Min! :(
tikes indeed
iwas down to 4 yesterday and was inputting #4 and # 3 when the grid went down
Needless to say, I will NOT be starting today's grid now.
What time did the grid go down & how long was it down?
good plan.
I even wrote a story of clues thinking it was today's grid.

Oh well. Sorry I can't give any clues today. Goodnight all!
good night MIn, nice to see you :)
night min. stay away from those lancasters.

nir have i
Hooray! my last word is what I had out when I was about 7 - along with adenoids. Got to run - bye
you're lucky - recovery is so much easier if you have it done as a kid. had mine out as an adult and it was AWFUL.
well done, lyn
battling my way towards 90%...
P's are (Predictably) Particularly Pernicious
a pox on them!
congrats lunxx and ty for those 2 words :)
re8/40 pls?

Do you need more Ps Natasha?
WE admire your restraint ruru ;)
i have 7 left to find kate... along with another 133 words. I have to leave in 45 minutes - very exciting - picking up son returning home from his 1st year at McGill!
so I am not very focused on getting to FW tonight
which in a way is liberating, just having fun finding words without the pressure of needing to be perfect :-) could be a metaphor for life...
okay, getting sprog home safely from 1st year away is much more important! :) What a great school.
I have 75 left... not likely without a printer. for a hard copy
sprog?
It's been a real experience for him - I think he's gotten more out of being forced into all sorts of adult self-care than he has out of his classes
offspring ruru
is your other kid named eggnog?
or, new recruit (in the military)
well, ruru has obviously finished ;D
only have the one... I'm the world's luckiest mommy. Got to have a kid long past my due date (turned 45 before he was born). Grabbed the brass ring on the last turn of the merry-go-round!
pretty much a "British-ism" ruru.
used to be married to a Brit (Yorkshire version) so I know loads of slang
:D
ok back to babble...
well, I have to dive in a bot... if I can wrangle the list I should get a few more. random monkeying is netting nada.
hi, all!
he melon!
ER 5/12 after 3x bird(s)? from top corner E before er** while (at one time)
what happens to a hillside in a rainstorm?
Fish me! TY Natasha :)

nbt nbs
pore
uh-oh PB for me!
need one more F word... FI 5/18 after fish arms and legs?
hey melon... did you notice there is no LIST? I will join you - hope the cabana boys have some wine!
in some ways, this grid is a pain. So many words have three suffix patterns, so it's 4 times the work!
got it... the Scandanavian sea inlets again... don't know why I can never see that word!
No, I hadn't. Just got here. Our high school had its final instrumental concert. It was amazing. two senior soloists, so poised beyond their years.
Kate, I have ARB's list in my profile ...
yes, but no "tion" words that I have seen so far.. and thank goodness the J isn't a more cmmon letter...
The young cellist is off to study with Matt Haimovits. Wowo.
I put it in mine when she checked out, ty Judy... it's tough without a hard copy and little time to do the matching of what is needed...
sounds great melon! What did they play?
LOL 69 to go in half an hour... Bwahahaa, not gonna happen!
The cellist played a movement from a Boccherini concerto. He's one of our "Cleveland Orchestra kids", students whose parents are in the orchestra. The pianist played a Kabalevsky concerto with which I am not familiar, and, get this, an alumn who is at UofM majoring in engineering wrote a new arrangement for the orchestral part, because we were short some wind instruments. I have to brag about our high school, Cleveland Heights High, aka, "Heights High." We have legendary instrumental and vocal programs, as well as visual arts. We have many arts professionals in the area, which helps.
was the cellist stringing you along?
He took a bow—heh heh!
Now I'm fading. Will miss the flip if I have the sense to go to bed!
'nite all!
[poof]
sorry melon, good night... was deep diving :(
That sounds like a fantastic night.. especiall you having yur own music written to accommodate!
DE 7/44 please?
there is a de 6/33 and de 6/30 before it, don't have those either. have a de 4/8 before them
