(well, not ALL the 7's, but a bunch of them. thanks to all 7 cluers. There, I feel better.) ;)
good night everyone
night, nan
Rbud its plural to past tense
what is?
Never mind i read it wrong im on my phone not pc harder to see
Sorry i thought you put m7
I hear ya there. I have to enlarge even my pc screen these days.
I just got on heree a fewmin ago
This is nuts my letters on keyboard cant get much bigger and i still mess up lol
Mistred
all the endings are hard to keep up with, lol
keep forgetting to try the "ier" or the "iest"... though not much use for the latter one...
I should play this when im awake not falling asleep
Mi 7 use an s at the end
well, I only want to get a good start on it, likely won't last too long, myself
mi 7 is one of the "more than" words. no S on the end. More foggy?
I have mi7 is a for filtering mail with an s
hi!
hmmm, ty, will look for it
I have an mi7 that is beyond Errol Garner XD
oooh, lotsa mi7's, then? :D
actually my mi7 is the same as rbuds; I gave my clue as a riff on a famous song title.
ohhh, clever!
but not sure I got the same one as ladyluck, with the S, though I did find one like that.
I have a to7 that might describe a flute teacher. . .
:D
well, flute teachers, plural
how about the Dustin Hoffman role in drag?
or the chewy chocolate-y roll...
LOL, yeah and yeah
Actually your are another to7, mine is a homonym of the teaching part.
I had an old boyfriend who referred to me as to5.
well, I also have a third one, same base, ends like the Fab Four.
With the midwestern vowel sound.
aw, sweet. :)
He was, sometimes.
whew, finally found a D for the top one for nbt
I want fanjoy to be a word!
well it should be! :D
I got that one off the bat, probably because my sis and I had to play a few.
the upper row D word
hahaha, I didn't even see those till you said it, how blind am I? thanks
mine was de 5/16, which I completely monkeyed
and another de 5/16 to black it out.
mine were the du4/5
Ah. monkeyed my way to one.
the de 5's both end in the same letter
Ah, one of them sounds of the emerald isle, then (:
tx
I need the N and the F for nbt and a clue for the 8
8 has the most space
Ah, got the 8 (: the 7 was a college dorm-type word, and the 8 added a letter, transforming and informal plural to a superlative. Presto!
I have one of each, fa 4/7 and na 4/4, both kind of babblet-like. The na rhymes with the ta 4 like the town in New Mexico
na 4/4 both babblts
tx, Kamanjoh (:
fa 6 - should start with a ph?
YW, thx for the other 6. I'm busy mashing the Ms
ah, I was one letter off on the na4, as in the sandal
Yeah, Dippnall, one would think...
oh, thanks, Dipp, that would never have crossed my mind
Thankks, Dippnal, why did I not try that!
so, rbud, at least I was not alon (;
nbt, nbs, not quite halfway thru.
12 of 26 7s. twenty-six! zowie
yeah, those darn M's are a chore
halfway
I have 28Ms so far
Mashed the Ms!
have to get my mo4 working, I only have 7 M's to go now
get all your mo5 working you got this!
so far I have 3 mi7s, the most recent being even more Berle-ish
Now I'm down to 7 Ms!
I have an ma 7, what you took the most classes in while in college, based on ma 5, a military rank
and the ma 6 plural, of course
ah, tx for the 7; I had the 5 and 6
6 to go!
and my only other ma is ma 4, spanish for "hand" as in "ma4 y ma4" (hand to hand) Are there more than four ma's?
ooh, I did not have that one.
also wondering if there are any mis words where it functions as a prefix, hmmm
sure dpesm
I have all the Berle ones: ma 4/6/6/7/7/5/
oops, sure doesn't look like it
Do you want the answer, rbud?
I have those, though they seem silly
doesn't seem like it. I figured a mistrial would be because one mis+tr5 it, but noooo!
to which, mis as in prefix, or more than 4 ma words, lol - I'd settle for either or both, haha
no prefix
I have 15 mi
I did contemplate misro/4ing into the wrong room though, haha!
:D
LOL
As a waitress, I thought I might mis+tr4 something
there are two more ma for a total of 17 re: Lickety. Imma plug my words in now.
I have a problem with always trying "misle" as a word, because for a while when young, I thought the word "misled" was past tense and pronounced it accordingly in my head with a long i. Had never heard it, only read it.
Two syllables, haha
3 to go!
I missed an obvious one. Oh, them suffixes!
same her, rbud!
me, too, the M's, I mean, and two must be ma's, hmmm
2 to go. I forgot to do a word without its suffix!
one mi and I'm done with the Ms!
Yay, firewords!
This was a good grid!
yahoo, Kam!!
rbud - so funny I also have a problem with misled and also pronounced it as a past tense :)
TaDah, Kamanjah!
Ms completed.
After I broke down and listed, discovered a lot of plurals missing.
they say you should never make fun of people's pronunciation because sometimes it means they only ever read the word, never heard it out loud. We must all be readers, huh?
Nite, all! Or g'day, where ever you may be.
yip as a child i said mizzled :)
Oh, hear ya on that point, rbud.
haha! I still have to look twice, I think, "how awful, that man misled that poor girl..." with the wrong pronunciation...
I was at the health food store the other day and asked for bioperine (bio-per-ine). The guys says, oh "biop-er-ine?"
well,now, that's a mouthful, there.
what do you use that for? new one for me.
It helps activate turmeric (cucurmin)
Helps with pain
It is basically capsuled black pepper - can't eat 10mg of pepper on anything!
I always have trouble with apocalypse. It always comes out sort of like "popsicle", which makes me apoplectic. Anyway, try saying "apocalyptic popsicle" three times fast. Worse would be popsicle apocalypse.
interesting that it doesn't allow listeria
good morning all
good morning!
how is everybody today?
All is well here. Son's 27th birthday is today (:
how are you, Sprite?
oh wow, congratulations on your son!
I am well! Thanks :)
Thanks. He and I were overseas for a bit this summer. A week in Tel Aviv, for a wedding, then 6 nights in Paris. He has schizophrenia, so this was a triumph for him. He gets great care, but he also has grown up in a beautiful way, and has a fine character.
wow melon, such a success story, love it
should I know the af7?
no listeria????
thank you Sprite. I am so proud of both my kids. My daughter is 32, happily married.
atmos
and there it is, my last word, tr4/5. {{spritey}} {{worzel}} {{melon}} g'day dt.
all the Ds (:
hi and wow, grannyrose
hello my darling, wtg!!!!!!!!!! Have not seen you for a couple of days, is all well?
quite tired here. 1 1/2 hours of hydro. this morning. very achy. tried to book in for my next infusion sprite, but they are closed on mondays. 8-(
aw sweetie. Tomorrow morning then. And tell them your friend sprite said to book you in right away, no waiting time, or else
Oh, feel better grannyrose. What is the infusion for.
both shoulders sore, and i have inflamed skin in places which are the damaged nerves flaring up. itchy as all get out, particularly on my hands.
*gently holds rose*
melon, infusion of ketamine and magnesium for my fibromyalgia. i am now 13 weeks since my last.
Ah, never heard of that treatment. I have fibromyalgia myself. I seem to be doing better than I was 10 years ago, of all things.
my sleep pattern is totally in a mess. don says although i am not completely ratty yet, i am on the way... loll
evil man, lolllll
how are my dear friends? i apologise for hogging chat with my woes.
ahhh, finally did in the M's... kept getting distracted by interesting chat, haha
as for the af7, melon. probably if you were a seaperson or sailor.
{{rbud}}
sprite, melon had a word for your list - fanjoy! though we hadn't given it a proper daffynition, yet. I like it.
don't apologise, silly, we all share our joys and woes here, that is what a community is about.
love the word, rbud! Come on, you can think of a great definition!
fanjoy, what a football follower feels when their team wins.
I like it. In it goes, thanks!
or what an observer might feel when the fan dancer drops her fan
or someone at a concert, maybe - kind of like fangirling
I like the fan drop, haha!
it sort of sounds like it mutated from "enjoy" somehow...
I think the fandrop and the footballfanjoy are both great ones, so have added both
did you like the vid of the singing, rose?
oh, sweetie, even with the sound up to the max, there was no sound. i have forwarded it to don to work on.
yeah it is horrible quality. Here, I don't hear anything at the beginning, then later on it gets a little bit better. Anyway, thought you'd at least like to see it, lol. Just sent you a link to a song that Rob asked me to send to you
hi, I'm back. I like the fanjoy defs.
wb melon, they are in the list now :)
Still puzzling over the af7, grannyrose's hint notwithstanding. . .
and just got it!
melon, it is sort of a compound.
lol, asking is finding
It's a good word (:
okay, melon. af3, back of boat + more of more
rlfolll, yay for you melon
I did get the first 4 letters, then I goofed around until I noticed the obvious!
Sort of the opposite first and_______.
sounds like a true babble experience
"asking is finding" how true, gr!
*giggles* We are still interexchangeable, rose
yup... loll
I'm hitting the hay. nbt, nbs, all the Ms and Ds, the 8, and 19 of 26 7s. 75 to go. Have fun without me!
nn, melon, sweet dreams
Buona notte, tutti!
sweetest of dreams melon. xoxox
night, melon
remember I told you guys about the me-time I was gonna enjoy?
yeeeess???
same day, my beloved asked me to come pick him up again, in belgium, because he was not feeling well... Another 6 hours in a hot car, lol. Poor man had the runs. Not fun when camping.
ugh, poor Rob.
and poor sprite too, lol
i hope you knew all the potty stops on the route.
yeah I did.
yes, of course. poor sprite too. it's such a downer to have your lovely day used up like that.
the bad thing was, I took him there on tuesday, then had to recover all wednesday, then pick him up again on thursday, and was out for the count on friday and saturday. Quite another effect on the body and spirit than a week or longer by myself, lol.
he is all better now, and I caught his bug. Life can be so interesting ;)
loll... you poor darling. so4 bottom ?
don't you know it, lol
sounds like don is fixing the sound track on your link. i can hear you singing and i am 4 feet away from him.
oh wow!
if it is good, would you like me to send it to you?
oh yes, I would!
hokay. btw Braxton turned 5 today. we are going over for a quick visit in an hour or so.
congratulations on the little man! Wow, 5 already. I so remember him being born and how scary it was for a while.
yeah. it's amazing isn't it? and yet, he seems quite normal. his parents are a little anxious still as he is very quiet, and reserved. i keep reminding them that his daddy was just the same.. loll
not all children are outgoing. If his daddy was like that, all the more reason to trust that it is just his nature and nothing worrisome. They should listen to grannyrose.
he is still seeing a paediatrician regularly. but he has/is achieving all the mi4stones. he just likes to check out his world thoroughly.
nothing wrong with that.
considering that they had to watch the team resuscitate him i don't blame them for their concerns.
me neither. Better safe than sorry.
temps of 30 Celsius and up expected for today and the rest of the week :( That is crazy high for the netherlands, and always crazy humid.
eventually they will be able to relax again i am sure.
yeah they will. It takes time to get over a scare like that.
ugh, i hope your fan is working well.
My nail model is coming today, so first it is working in the heat. But after that, back downstairs and under the ceiling fan!
*sends sprite a HUGE iceberg* just put it in the bath tub honey, and all that cool air will roll on down the stairs.
is she coming early?
honey, I have to get ready for her. *hugs* and lots of love. Please take it easy, sweetie. Bye all, have a blessed day and a peaceful night :)
xoxox darling sprite.
end of the morning.
Okay first run through and I have 72 words left to find. Did not find the 8 yet. Will come back later to see if i can find any more words. Happy babling everyone!

I treat lightning as a stage show
with thundering applause
I find that shocking
no thanks -- we have enough fires burning in our area just now
ruru it is a show of sorts but its also just like fireworks can be dangerous
hi mool
I knew you'd find that current mool
we were talking about you in BC mool
how is the house hunting going, ru?
you were?
looked at 5 houses.. only.. but the realtor spent time showing me the better neighborhoods and we got to discuss what I'm looking for so she understands.
houses sell there very quickly so if there is one I want I have to jump on it
houses are selling here quickly too --- and for outrageous prices -- glad we bought last year as the houses around here have gone up 100 to 150 thousand since and they all need renovation
I'm opening an account up there so I have money ready to go
good idea
I was telling bugs and saanich that you nailed me the other day with that pun

*waiting along with kje for re7* (hiya kje)
gm
Hello all :)
ga
re7 is using a net like a spider or fisherman
too funny eva.. that was just plum funny
ru - totally lost here, the only thing I equate with spiderman & net is 'Yamool' and know not much about fishing.
HK - the middle of the word is most of a princess crown
oh, come on ruru -- you really drupe-d the ball on that one
Got it - thanks. Also got 3 big mo words in the process.

clue for the second de 5/16 would be greatly appreciated!
I only have 1 de- , homonym for milk farm
hmmmm...maybe lickety's list shows an extra? Thanks helen!
np, I don't list
someday I hope to be able to say that!
there are two de 5/16
LOL - it all had to do with breaking the addiction to getting every word. I believe this is a pattern experienced by most Babblers, worthy of scientific study even.
tx Jen :)
clue Jen?
the other de5/16 means disorder or merriment
de + ** of golden sun
Sorry, meant ***
That is the one I do have...needing the other one...
Then that's what I clued before.
looking...
rhymes with a kind of boat
I just found the de 5 ending in y is it the other one that someone else needs if it is I need it as well
both de5 end in y
yes
hey again guys
MLF - both end in 'y'
and both were just clued
hi all
hi mool :)
feeling very slow today :( but will try later...thanks everyone who clued!
hey helen, happy monday to you
hmm not seeing the one that doesn't end in a *** of sunshine?
heya peri, I so did not see you sneak in here, or else I wouldn't have repeated what you said. HI :)
np hk
maybe to remove sunshine ML
or to remove the sitcome that "everyone loves"
fyi I never sneak in. I just pop in and out sometimes without saying" anything
oh...the other one
MLF I said it's a homonym of milk farm, Jen said it rhymes with type of boat.
town in ireland
mool remove sunshine is the one I have
yeah, you want the town in ireland
rhymes with s a small stonefruit that comes in bunches of two or three usually
common varieties of which include bing and rainier
You know I said sneak in a nice way - like on tippy toe. Will have to watch more carefully for your pops in the future.
I guess I don't have any more sneakers...but when I go out I do like to wear poppers
lOL mool
stuck here with 81 left
44 left here
peri - we are close, feeling that way with 72 to go
will have to list soon. cause I am one of those who like to finish
me too peri, I have 141 and I am already listing but want to finish!
Good luck peri, Jen (cough, cough, addicts, cough)
when I was on vacation in Jan of this year I had trouble playing babble on my tablet so did not finish most games and the world did not end
peri - when I realized that, I went to the get as many as I can & not worry about the rest. But you
re way up in the rankings, right?
yes.
once in a while I do forget to finish and it is ok so I am not quite an addict
Proud of you, it's not easy. Keep it up. Go, go, go!
ty
still stuck with 80 left
again - that was a joke, I think many of us have been through that. The angst of stopping before firewords.
down to 67, so there are still a few gimmies.
Going to clear my head with that expert Sudoku. Later all.
jo 6/33, pls
oh man i was all excited about finding a bacteria, i guess it is a proper name bc they wouldn't accept it!
to bump around
ty hoy
Gynecologists are going to be upset, it won't accept "utero."
ah but they do lots of ut5 to satisfy their needs
Ordinary words?
plural...latin plural
Uteros
Mistake.
have to translate that first to english
then do a latin plural
Hey. I got it. Who would have thunk?
glad to help
Mostly, when I do Babble, I only look for ordinary English words. I don't even look at Lickety. I quit after I've found 40 or so.
Hey, what's wrong with EELS?
It's there - it's in my word list
Oh, it DID take eels. I must have typed something that looked just like it but was different.
i dont use lickety either
Really? Do you get a majority of the words?
about 805 or so on average
80%
That's amazing to me. And I consider myself a guy with a big vocabulary.
well, have been playing competitive words a long time...about 25 years
I have 205 of 238 on this one
48 left. time for lackey.
I only do Wall Street Journal crosswords. That uses lots of names and common phrases.
yeah, not so good with the actors and show references
just found 5 words
The ones I hate are like, "Best foreign actor for an Animal film in 1958."
yes
1967 Grammy winner for best producer
