Took me a while, tons of combo tries, but I finally got the W6 27. Why is it that this game's dictionary will accept a word like that, but not 'stent,'...or was it 'stint'? Anyway, who uses that W word today? Certainly not in everyday use.

well obviously i'm trying to trick everyone. while i'm hunting for 7x C words, everyone else is hunting for 7x E words sorry about that ... the c looked like an e when i printed out the stats

Shortseer, can I ask where you find these stats? And, better yet, will you answer?

why shouldn't i answer? i found out how to do it here from jmi but it's not straightforward you have to use one of the online solvers i copy the solved words into the clipboard and save them in a textfile without looking at the words. Then i run a macro in a database which imports the textfile , analyses the words and spits out the results on my printer. jmi does something similar using a spreadsheet i think

I got stuck on the last N It was only 4 letters, so i figured i'd just "noodle" it. LOL It only took me 62 attempts to find it. And when i finally did hit on it, i realised it's come up before. (Well, at least i'm pretty sure it's permanently fixed in my memory now!) N4 ... flat, leavened bread. 61 words / 4.51 / 643

It has been brought to my attention (albeit a little rudely by gcmgolfnut) that there is a banner ad that keeps "ringing" like a phone. I apologize. I have blocked the ad from reappearing in the rotation. The change should take about 45 minutes to take effect. So until then, my Babble friends, keep your finger on the mute button! :)

running, i think that the u word you are missing is a prefix for a 3 letter word- to affix the w is a wa. hope this helps

The O word is 4 letters and sounds a lot like a US state. I know it only because it's been in quite a few puzzles.
