92 total words
Stats Lite: 92 words, no eights, 2 sevens, 10 sixes.
Slightly heavier stats: 4 ... 51 5 ... 32 6 ... 10 7 .... 3 8 .... 1 ======== total 97 ======== A ... 1 C .. 13 D .. 11 E ... 9 F ... 6 H ... 5 i ... 1 O ... 5 Q ... 7 S .. 19 T .. 20
Are there really 7 Q's?!
My thoughts exactly. I have four Q's so far. And are there really 9 E's?
I have 6 E's so far (4/9, 4/9, 6/33, 4/7, 4/4, 5/10)
I only have one E, so that's helpful, thanks. My Q's are 5/18, 6/30, 5/18, 6/30
Yeah ... i have a problem with the q's too. I keep trying to enter quit, quite and quits. That would make 7 words. I've gone back and looked at the solver i used and it says: "The solver ignores non-letters, and always assumes a square board. It takes the 'q' you enter as the 'qu' combination, which can be used in each word as either 'q' or 'qu'." so that sounds like it IS counting the quit, quits and quite words. I don't want to look at the actual word list to find out
never occurred to me to think of the Qu as just a Q.. too bad it doesn't work :)
If i'm right, then my stats may have other errors ... the solver will have counted any words containing the letters _qui_ And moving on to another problem (for me anyway!) ... i've only found 18 out of 20 T's Can anybody point me towards the last 2? I have: 2x TA4 1x TE4 9x TO4 5x TO5 1x TU4
i don't have any sevens or eights, and most of the words I'm missing are C's. I will look on the solver tomorrow and try to figure out the Q discrepancy if it hasn't been worked out by then. G'night.
You know, that would make sense, since the Lite stats came from the wordracer solver, which uses different characters to distinguish between Q and Qu.
There is another TE4.
I went to the Wordracer solver and did a breakdown by letter: A - 1 C - 11 D - 11 E - 9 F - 6 H - 5 I - 1 O - 5 Q - 4 S - 19 T - 20 I would bet that the discrepancies in the C's are valid and the Q's are not, so we are actually looking for 94 words, 4 Q's.
(and 13 C's, for those of you who haven't scrolled down)
thanks!
Does anyone have more E's than the 6 I listed below?
I have all the T's. The last one was a TO5.
I have seven: ECx4, EFx1, ETx2
(fnurt, i think one of your 4/9's has a plural you've overlooked)
Well, I didn't want to be greedy.
for not-accepted C's i can come up with coquito and coquitos. So that rules out one 7 and one 8 from my stats
After taking out all the bad Q words, that makes the lengths 4.. 50 5..30 6..10 7..2 Ok! enough! going to bed now.
Here's a breakdown of the Es ... EC 4x2, 5x1 6x1 EF 4x1 ES 5x1 6x1 ET 4x1 5x1
what does the 8 start with?
I'm pretty sure there isn't an 8. The discrepancy with the Qs mentioned earlier on the log made it look like there would be 2x8 and 3x7 in this grid in the initial stats. There are just 2x7 and no 8s at all.
I have 92/4.61/1015. If anyone comes up with a higher total, say something! :)
i think you've got 'em all. will you share hints about your sevens?
These TOs are bugging me ...
There is a S7/48 that goes with a 6/33. I don't know what it means but at least to my ear, it sounds like a C5/6. There is also a S7/28 that goes with a 6/18 and is a combination of 2 smaller words.
there's no such thing as a C5/6 - did you mean 16?
I meant a C5/6 combo.
oh! i get it
As far as I can see from looking around on Google its just a Dutch word for boat ....
I'm trying to wrap up my sixes. So far I have C6, D6, E6x2, Q6x2, S6x2.
theres another C6 and S6
could someone put a list of the 6s and 7s so I know how many there are. Thanks
Damn these TOs ... I just cannot find them
I'm down to my last to. It's to5
I found two more tos, and that doesn't complete my ts. I have ta4x2, te/4 x2, to4 x8, to5 x6, tu4 x1. What am I missing.
You're missing a to4.
Thanks Millie. I had just found it when I read your note. I have 89 words. I think I need 5 more. Siggghhhhh
Why isn't toto allowed? *sigh*
Awww, 'cheetos' isn't a word. :(
yeah but Cheetos is a great snack...for some :)
I'm down to 1 H and 1 C. it's buggin' me
fit1, I believe we figured out that there are only 92 words, not 94. Two of the words appeared to be there because th enable solver did not know how to handle the QuU properly.
CE4x2 CE5 CH5x2 CH6x2 CO4x2 CO5x2 HE4 HO4x2 HO5 HU4
oops. that's two c's. I have ce4x2, ce5 x1, ch5x1, ch6 x1, co4x2, co5x2 he4 x2, ho4 x2 hu4 x1. Can anyone help me......please!!!!!!!!!1
thanks Kris. We wrote about the sae time. I appreciate your help. Now I'll hunt :)
Oh boy. When I saw the H word I missed, i kicked myself. I seem to have all the C's you mention. But that would give me a total of 92 words with only 11 c's. I thought there are 94. But I recounted my C's and I have 11
Any help on a missing S? I have: SC 4x1 5x2 6x2 7x1 SE 4x2 5x1 6x1 7x1 SI 4x1 5x1 SO 4x2 ST 4x2 5x1
there are 2 stx5
If there are only 92 words, it's 92/1015.
Bumble. That's what I have. Thanks :) I hope that's all, because I just can't find any more words :)
I have that now too ...
92/4.61/1015 :)
YAHOOOOOO I'm done. Thanks running :)
Wait, TWO HE4s?
I think that's a typo; I only have one.
Could someone give a clue for the s7/28?
the S7-28 is a compound word; it's also the plural of an S6-18.
are there really 97 words in this one
so i got 92 words .... did i finaly finish a grid?
There are only 92, we think. One of the solvers misinterpreted the Qu as just a Q, so words like Quuit and Quuite were counted as real words.
I keep wanting 'tostada' to be in the upper corner! ;-)
still missing 3 . . . not going to make it!
