good morning all
*huggle, snuggle, smooooooch* spritey
*hugs rose* Hello my dearest friend :) How are you doing? Still in too much pain? And how is Don? And how is he behaving?
still aching... mwah.... mood not very good... don is good and behaving. he even asked me last night if his behaviour had improved.
aw that is sweet, and mature. Good for him. So sorry about you being in pain, honey. *holds rose in a long, comforting hug*
i so want to be there with you irl... *sigh*
ikr? That would make such a difference. We will have to make do for a little while longer, honey.
hokay. *retires to a corner, pouting*
come back here this instant, little lady. No pouting in corners. You do it right here in the middle of babble ;) Luvsya so much.
ditto honey. i miss you soooo much it hurts.
I hear ya. There are days I am close to robbing a bank, buying a ticket and get the hell over there.
Hi and hugs ladies
awww honey. and you would be hurting so much we both would be miserable. i guess it is better to wait until i get over to you. *sigh*
Hope all’s well with you
heyya lizgirl. xoxox ad infinitum for both of you
we will wait and we will make the most of the time we will have together :)
*hugs Liz* Great to see you!
you two brighten my day. thanx so much.
love heals the worst of pains... and we luvsya.
btw, thanks for the ch biggies, rose and dizzie. New ones for me. I think.
For me too. Thanks.
Down to 40 and it’s brick wall time. Will probably list soon.
yeah.... did you see my comment at 1:38?
lol yeah. And it is true. Long past that point. Which is one of your endearing qualities, of course *ducks*
*quack, quack*
lol
how was your day, Liz?
btw, sprite. did you sleep better last night?
yes I did, thanks darling.
Domestic - as usual on Sunday. But that’s fine and it’s great when everything’s done. Also did some decluttering of some old stereo equipment and and old computer unit. So basically a good day.
sounds pretty okay, Liz. Decluttering is good :) As Louise Hay says, it is 'cleaning out the closets of your mind'.
And then there were 35. I love it when you look at the grid again and suddenly see more words.
and we have been out in the garden again today. have planted out seven tomato seedlings. 4 x cherry tomatoes(don's fave), 2 x grosse lisse and 1 heirloom. we have made a possom and bird proof cage for them. *fingers crossed*
ikr? Such a fun feeling. Makes you wondering where they were hiding all that time.
dinner here, all of a sudden. bbl. xoxox
awesome, rose! I did not know there was anything possom proof ;)
We’ve also been growing and eating lots of stuff - blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, passion fruit and herbs and other salad stuff.
enjoy, honey. *huggggggssssss*
Bon appetite
that is amazing, Liz.
I forget it’s an hour later where Rose is.
We’ve had failures too though. Our courgettes didn’t do too well and I don’t hold out much hope for our pumpkins either.
all those time differences are messing with my head. And just when I think I have it sorted, there is the start or end of some DLS and it all starts over again.
growing stuff is not as easy as it seems. I have had lots of failures. More than successes, actually. I think I have black thumbs.
We don’t change our clocks here which is a pain. Gets dark early in summer and it’s light ridiculously early!
here they are considering not changing clocks anymore. Of course, in good dutch tradition, now they cannot agree on which time to keep...
I don't mind either way, as long as the changing stops. I hate changing time. Messes up my whole system for weeks.
California just passed a measure to not change the clocks...if the federal gov't will allow us not to. I would be so happy to not mess with it twice a year, lol!
Like I’ve said before, I miss long summer nights. It’s just 6.30 here and it’s getting dark.
*hugs Kam* How are you doing, darling? Healed up properly from your fall? And how is Michael?
iirc, you do not have long summer nights at all there, right? A pretty sudden dark?
Yes, it will be dark in 5 or 10 minutes. OK. Sorry to leave but have stuff to do. Hugs
Healing ok. See doc on Thurs, so he can check, or order x-rays. My nose is still sore, so is my eyebrow area. Michael is doing really well! He is so much better since the surgery.
*hugs Liz on her way out* Have a lovely evening.
that is all good news, Kam. Am very glad you will have a doctor check it all, just to make sure.
bbs, nature calls
back
yay, another biggie... who're you gonna call?
Hey there, zooz. If you are still here, I have the name of the med I was telling you about.
wb sprite. and g'day peach xoxox
I hope your mother is over the kidney infection and won't need any more medicine....I called the Pharmacy and was told that it is Pyridium.....it helped me so much.....you can look it up on your computer and if you think it wise, call her doctor and see if he will look into it for her. I don't know if she will tolerate it or not, but her doctor will be able to tell you or her.
and like her user name sprite has disappeared like a puff of smoke in a high wind.... loll
Hi there, Rose. How are you doing, dear friend?
One dog is doing the "potty" dance....I'll be right back.
peach, have verbal permission from workcover for procedure on knee. just waiting on written word. i am overdue for ketamine and magnesium infusions.
*sigh* nightie night peach. time for me to start to unwind and hopefully sleep. xoxox
I'm back, Rose. Oh, I see you've left already. Blessings
((Gapeach)) Many thanks! Have writtten the name of the medicine down. Will let mother know. She is slowly getting better. She is up and about too which is good as she tends to spend a lot of time in bed.
Well the first tile was easy to do!
Hope the rest of the grid goes the same way lol
Oh, zooz, what great news! I am so glad to hear that she is up and about. That is truly a good sign.
Yes it is bless her. I do laugh to myself though as no matter what my mother gets as in hurt foot or bad back etc she always puts a voice on that sounds like she has a really bad throat. Bless her she does make me smile!
Hope you are okay still, Gapeach?
I haven't finished the grid yet....will come back later and finish it, (hopefully). Guess I should feed and medicate the pets. I'm doing OK. Just cold. LOL
Yeah not looking forward to the cold weather which I have no doubt will reach here at some point :-(
Okay, Gapeach Hope you have a good sleep and a great day. thank you for looking uo the name of the medicine for me! You are a sweet lady.
Do you all usually have a lot of snow?
No not where I live. Sometimes we will get a couple of inches but not often. Further north from here they will get rather a lot of snow.
Well, that is good, then. Just keep bundled up anyway. I have 3 layers of clothing on. I drink a lot of hot tea during these cold times. Good night then and blessings to all of your family.
It is 7.9C / 46.22F here at the moment damp looking with rain here and there throughout the day.
Yes I Drink a lot of tea too although I have it weak. I will be warm as I will be round parents soon to make the Sunday roast.
((Gapeach)) Sweet dreams dear lady.
Back to the grid for me. Diving in * plop *

I haven't begun to research yet. I was last there in 1986
i haven't been there in a long time either....
if you intend on camping there or renting a motel room, my advice is to do it early....
yes. I guess I'll be looking into it over the winter. I think we'd ferry back to Portland
