Hmm, yesterday's six-letter repeat word was "addict" and today's is... Babble's insulting us, folks. There are 201 words in this puzzle, give or take a few.

Hmm, so far some really sexy words including an 8/40 and an 8/50. Anyone up for doing stats? Off to bed for me!

2:04 am

It won't accept 'cetyl.'

2:06 am

Got one 7/40-52 combo. Same begining, different words.

2:21 am

Won't accept 'ceryle' nor 'ceryl' either.

2:23 am

Hmmm.. the repeat word certainly isn't flattering if we are seeing the same one :o)

2:24 am

26 for 235. Done for the night.

Hint for the 8/50 anyone? I have the 8/40 (combo 6-7-8). Five sevens so far. Sini

6:06 am

Off to work, maybe there will be stats when I return.

7:14 am

8/50: a kind of fabric

7:20 am

a 7/9 combo for do-it-yourselvers.

7:24 am

worth 28/66, sorry, forgot.

8:12 am

Hi, Kenny!

There's another 8/50 meaning a cancellation or a take-back

8:27 am

Hi Kenny and Mom!

theres a 9/54

These are off the wordracer solver, so they may be off a word or two.. but for starters: A 20 C 15 E 14 H 5 i 15 L 20 M 2 N 29 O 11 R 19 S 22 T 21 V 4 W 4

Huh, the V stats must be for Y. Bad eyes. So: V 0 Y 4 also, I have a Z that didn't appear on the solver.

9:30 am

Holy cow! I just found a 10 for 91. It is the opposite of an H7 for 40. It does not start with H.

9:31 am

:-) Hi, Charlene!

9:52 am

claws. What does the 10 start with?

10:17 am

N

10:55 am

thanks claws.

10:58 am

A hint said that the N-10-91 is the opposite of an H-7-40. Are there 2 H-7-40s? The one I have has some sort of a complicated scientific/chemical definition and I really don't know if there is an opposite to that word.

11:06 am

there is Minski ...

11:13 am

Thanks. I can't imagine ever coming up with an opposite to the one I have. M

11:22 am

think more along the lines that either it is one, or it isn't one

11:35 am

Since when is ZION not a word? I guess it's a personal noun?

11:35 am

According to this puzzle ZIONISTs don't exist.

12:08 pm

Hey, Buffalo Benjake, you got some great words!

12:17 pm

Thanks, Rochester Benjake...I'm not coming up with all of them out of my memory...love that a2z!

there is actually a Z/4

1:12 pm

Yep. Got it. Think wines.

1:35 pm

Anybody want to talk biggies? I have: 10--N/91 9--i/54, O/66 8--A/40, C/50, N/55, R/50 7-- A/28 A/36 A/28 C/36 E/36 E/36 H/40 H/52 i/40 L/28 N/36 O/28 R/28 R/28 R/28 T/28 T/40

1:41 pm

My big A's so far: A6/7 -24/28 like a long, long, long time A7 -36 negatively charged ion A6/7/8 -18/28/40 To apply oil, ointment, or a similar substance to and one who does this thing A6 -24 related to the main trunk of the systemic arteries

1:43 pm

I've also got length stats: 10x1 9x2 8x6 7x21 6x35 5x60 4x84 ...which adds up to 209. It's in the right dictionary. I wish I could offer letter counts too, but I always screw up and end up seeing answers when I try to do that.

any hints for the O/8 for 66?

i guess that was an O9/66

2:18 pm

The O9 for 66 is related to an O7 for 28(someone that enjoys giving themself pleasure, if you know what I mean...)

2:31 pm

My big C’s so far: C6 – 24 another name for eucalyptus oil C7 – 36 A section of DNA that contains the genetic code for a single polypeptide and functions as a hereditary unit. C6 – 24 No definition –possibly a variation of the one right below? C6 – 24 a 16th century musical instrument resembling a guitar C6 – 24 A fruit resembling a lemon, but larger, and pleasantly aromatic C6 – 24 a person of subnormal intelligence C8 -50 A heavy unglazed cotton, linen, or rayon fabric, colorfully printed and used for draperies and slipcovers.

5:43 pm

Is that a hint for the i8, by any chance? Because I need one.

5:47 pm

I wasn't intending it to be, but for all I know it could be a hint. I just noticed that once I clued into the -ic ending, suddenly I started seeing all kinds of words, it was really cool :)

6:04 pm

Are there any R hints? I could use about 17 of em. :-\

6:07 pm

I've got 5 R words. Four of them are 4 letters, the other, five letters. I can't seem to find any beyond that.

6:09 pm

Well, there's also a 6 and 7 which are very similar but with different endings.

6:14 pm

Just found two more 5's, only the last letter is different. Gotta go.

6:32 pm
