5:00 am

D7/68

6:25 am

I hate finding the elusive last few words ...

6:25 am

Ste, may I have a clue for your D/8 please.

6:33 am

I have no definition for the D/7 but it starts with a D4.

6:33 am

Thanks.

6:34 am

I only have one D4 and not sure if it is the right one.

6:35 am

it's a D4/5

6:36 am

Thanks, I have 2 D/4 but not that one yet. Have to go to work. Be back later.

6:38 am

For the D7, try thinking in 2 things. such as 2 controls. That's the base word. After that, add a suffix to make it a verb

6:48 am

I think the D7 might mean to turn into 2 parts. e.g if you want to improve a road ... to turn it into a D4 carriageway ... then you D7 the road.

7:07 am

shortseer. Is a carriageway an English term for highway?

7:10 am

Yeah - we haven't got those new fangled carless carriages yet ya'know! ;)

7:11 am

horseless rather than car-less.... that is!

7:14 am

'well, I hope you guys come into the modren world. Do you have indoor plumbing yet ? :) :):)

7:23 am

carriageway n : one of the two sides of a motorway where traffic travels in one direction only usually in two or three lanes actually i'm australian ... didnt know i was using a uk-only word. We convicts might have been kicked out of england, but we still use their terminology. Or actually we often use both uk/usa terms interchangeably eg toch/flashlight, pants/trousers, trunk/boot

7:35 am

The sixes and sevens : C6 ... sensory appendages of some insects C6 ... insect - male has drum-like organs for producing a high-pitched drone - variant spelling C7 ... more like a moist sticky type of earth D7 ... turn into 2 parts? E7 ... moral E7 ... pertaining to univalent organic radical, C2H5 G6 ... a trough or channel for carrying something off G6 ... to swallow greedily; to gorge; to gormandize L6 ... more like a delicate fabric made of yarn or thread in an open weblike pattern L7 ... to secularize R6 ... clothed again S6 ... bulkier? T6 ... of or relating to a sheath, especially a tendon sheath finished with 65 words / 4.74 / 1090

well shortseer as a "colonial" who has returned to the motherland I get to swap back and forth between the two languages fairly often.... can be confusing when you can't remember which language that word belongs to as you say it tho'... fit1 indoor plumbing we certainly do have and at the moment - lots and lots of rain.....

7:46 am

Finished too. Same stats as shortseer

8:39 am

I have one a word. 4 letters. What else?

9:11 am

A5/16

shortseer you missed a U6 meaing to speak

so there's nine 6-letter words? the stats are wrong?

the word I have is a five letter word, not six

wish I could count; my apologies

10:36 am

I need help... I miss two 5's, I'm going me crazy! My 5's: 1 A 3 C 2 D 2 E 2 I 2 L 1 S 1 T 1 U (I also miss 7 4's, but, I'm stuck...)

10:37 am

1 L, 1 Y :)

10:38 am

thank's!

I have five E's, four of which start with the same three letters. Does my last E start the same way?

1:28 pm

Nope - it has only the first letter in common with the others

1:29 pm

sorry that probably wasn't clear. there are 4 that start the same way, and 2 that are both different, and different from each other

I understood :) thanks!

hi

I'm stuck on my last word - the A5-16. I know which two combinations of letters it might be. Which A should I be starting with?

4:07 pm

the one on the bottom :)

thanks :)

5:51 pm

I am stuck. No A words. May I please have hints for them. Thanks.

6:04 pm

Both A words (a 4 & 5, not related) start with the A at the bottom

6:54 pm

A4 ... a winglike organ, or part A5 ... i think it's a hebrew word. How about i just give the clue that it starts and ends with the same letter ;)

7:36 pm

If indeed the A5 is a Hebrew word, it means honor
