9/72 :-)

2:32 am

Only one 9 and some 8s. 117/1765, so there must be at least 350/3600, because I generally get about half, on my first run-through.

3:08 am

bah! treeroots should be a word!

4:34 am

BabbleStats 4 .... 90 5 .... 59 6 .... 40 7 .... 19 8 ..... 6 9 ..... 2 ========= total 216 ========= A 10 C 56 D 1 E 2 H 18 L 17 O 15 R 34 S 39 T 20 Z 4

10:02 am

Not ALL of the biggies, just the ones I've gotten so far. :-)

10:03 am

bigbirdboss - The 8 you are missing is an R for 40 points. I don't know where it goes relative to the other two Rs though. I also have 3 7s that you don't - A c/36 that goes after the 40 (mine go 36, 48, 40, 36) and an S44 and S40 that go after your 40, I think. My Ss go 40,44,40.

The R 40 goes after the two R 55's.

also, there are two R7-28's in a row

10:11 am

Thank you!

10:16 am

12:37 pm

1:07 pm

Just one A7/28

1:32 pm

Is the C-9-72 a compound word?

1:33 pm

No, it's not.

2:07 pm

I guess this is where I stand on 7's... A28 C36 C48 C40 C36 C36 L36 O36 R36 R32 R28 R28 S40 S44 S40

2:09 pm

fnurt - You're missing a 7/40/H and a 7/36/T. I'm still missing 2 7s, though. Not sure what the others start with.

2:11 pm

H30

there's a 7T/36 also

2:11 pm

heh, I mean 40. The word above the H/7 is 30, though =)

2:11 pm

Anyone wanna compare Hs and Ls? I'm missing one of each: HA4 HO4x9, HO5x3, HO6x3, HO7 LE4x3, LE7 LO4x8, LO5x2, LO6x2

2:13 pm

there are two S/28s after the ones fnurt listed.

2:17 pm

jlm, there is an Hax5. I'm missing the same L as you.

2:29 pm

Thanks parsec. The missing L is an LO4.

2:40 pm

for the lox4 do you have the one related to bathrooms? perhaps a british bathroom.

2:44 pm

OK, I now have all the O words and am truly stumped as to which one is in honor of our Canadian babblers. ???

2:52 pm

I'm just going to put stats out there for the other letters I'm missing - C, R, S, T. Hopefully they'll help some, and hopefully someone can help me. :) CA4, CA5x2, CA6 CE4x4, CE5x2 CL4, CL5x3, CL7 CO4x13, CO5x7, CO6x8, CO7x3, CO8 CR5, CR6, CR7, CR8, CR9 RA4, RA5 RE4x3, RE5x2, RE6x6, RE7, RE8x3, RE9 RH4 RO4x5, RO5x2, RO6x3, RO7x3 SH4x3, SH5x9, SH7x3 SO4x8, SO5, SO6x3, SO7, SO8 ST5x4, ST6x2, ST7 TE4x3, TE6 TO4x4, TO5, TO6 TR4x3, TR5x2, TR7

3:06 pm

Any hints for the Cr's?

3:08 pm

Thanks so much for the clues, jlm! Here's where I have more: Co5x8, Re6x7, So4x9, So5x2, Te5, To4x5

3:10 pm

The first two sound similar but are unrelated. The 5 is used in fishing. The 6 describes a person of particular ethnic descent or the style of cooking this person would do. The other 3 are related and were hinted to earlier twice.

3:12 pm

parsec - Your post made me realize that there were actually 2 more TO4 words that I hadn't entered, so I now have TO4x6.

3:13 pm

Yay! only one T left, then.

3:19 pm

jlm - I have SH/6X1

3:20 pm

There is an SH6 out there. It is a pretty normal word!

3:23 pm

Yep, normal it is. Thanks. :)

3:24 pm

How about As? There's one pesky one I can't find: Ac5, Ae4, 7 Ar4x2, 5x3, 6

3:26 pm

AC4. Also a normal word. :)

3:28 pm

There are RE4x4.

3:50 pm

The final T word is a TR6. That leaves me with just 3 C words to find. 1x6 and 2x5. :)

3:50 pm

you're right, so normal! Thanks!

3:55 pm

OK, a CO5, CL5 and CL6 bring me to 216/3402.

3:55 pm

I have RE8/45 and RE8/40 can anyone give a clue for the other please.

3:57 pm

Treble99, May I please have clues for the R8's that you have.

4:02 pm

the RE8/40 a quick reply and RE8/55 a musical instrument. I hope they help, not very good at giving clues.

4:20 pm

Treble 99, thanks. FYI, if you click on the question mark to the right of a word in your list you will get the definition.

4:23 pm

Still trying to find the last RE8

4:46 pm

I have the following 8 letter words: co8/70, cr8/50 and re8/40. May I please have hints for the other eights. Thanks..

5:29 pm

drooler?

6:41 pm

anyone else still playing?

6:43 pm

i've just come back i've only done about half of the words

6:45 pm

i just started and i have to leave in a few minutes, i'll never finish this one.

6:46 pm

periwinkle, there is an s8/50 that means magician

6:46 pm

I have more than half but still lots of words to find.

6:46 pm

MamaJill, thanks I will look for it.

6:48 pm

MamaJill, Thanks I found the s/8.

6:49 pm

Does anyone know what the last two 8 letter words start with. Or hints for what they mean.

7:04 pm

They are both r's, one for 55 and one for 40...I have no idea what they mean as I have not found them yet.

7:11 pm

MamaJill, I just found the r/8/55. It is a musical instrument. Lots of kids play it. It starts with the R on the left side. Second row from the top.

8:03 pm

The r 8 for 40 is someone who speaks sharply.

8:34 pm

Thanks, got both r8's!

8:37 pm

There's supposed to be another r55 I'm missing...

8:43 pm

Any hints on the o 7/36?

8:44 pm

Never mind, just found the o!

8:50 pm

Are there two R/8/55's. May I have a clue for the last one. I have the musical instrument.

8:50 pm

The 7's A7 28 ... gaseous suspension of fine solid or liquid particles C7 36 ... more transparent C7 48 ... companions or associates C7 40 ... not just black and white C7 36 ... chemical L7 36 ... a stand that serves as a support for the notes or books of a speaker O7 36 ... wildcats R7 36 ... repaint R7 32 ... rested/slept on a perch R7 28 ... bird R7 28 ... underground part of a plant S7 40 ... one who fires a gun S7 44 ... what has happened when a circuit is overloaded S7 40 ... less tall S7 28 ... steel shoe worn with mediaeval armor (i think) ... alt. sp. S7 28 ... sturgeon T7 36 ... molasses ============= 17 out of 19 missing 2 ... an A40 and 1 other

9:03 pm

I think you're missng a c36 - one who paints.

9:12 pm

yes. that's what was missing not missing it any more ;) thanks sleeky (but still missing almost half of the other C's)

wasn't there an H7 also? or did i read the log wrong?

9:16 pm

I'm glad to have something to contribute, for a change! :-)

9:21 pm

i thought i read H7 soemwhere in the log, but couldn't find it again when i was compiling my list of all the 7's. I did see an A40 mentioned in the log. If i've counted correctly i'm only missing one 7 now ... the A40. I still have missing H's as well as A's so i can't rule out the possibility of an H7

I was going by the 2:11 posting and the replies to it. I'm missing eight H's, which matches the list if there is an H7.

9:31 pm

aha so THAT'S where i must have seen it too i'll see if i can finish off the H's now

9:36 pm

that list of H's .. there's also an HA5 HA5 ...A white person [from Hawaiian word, meaning foreign, foreigner]

9:50 pm

H7 ... one who is employed to tend horses (i should have got that earlier, seening i have the related O6 word) And this means there isn't another A7 ... evidently i misread something earlier in the log

11:51 pm

Is there a second R8/55?? I have the musical instrument.

yes there is - it means to note or mark down, again

11:59 pm

inan... thanks - didn't notice I had it....
