S7/36... that's the only 7 I've found so far...
L8/45
M8/55
WOT! No Godiva!
2 x A7's, both for 36
Wow, email isn't a word, eh? So what do I send and get spam from every day? :)
Hey! Tent is back!
babble doesn't want a maitai. I want a maitai.
I'm with you Parsec! Hold mine until January though. No drinking until baby is born.
When is yours due? Mines sometime between mid december and february >grins<. Still enjoying a glass of red late nights while abbbling though!
We can almost make an apogee word like a few days ago!
I have and L-8/45 and an M-8/55 that are almost identical.
P-7 for 36
The two 8s were mentioned earlier, but the P7 is a new one. Thanks!
Man, they just seem to jump out once you know they're there! Wonder what the other 2 7s are. :)
new to the game today...any hints/suggestions? :)
Hi Granadan. Mine's due date is January 5th. Today is my 30 week anniversary. 10 weeks to go! I haven't had a drink since a glass of champagne at my parent's 40th anniversary party in August. Looking forward to a nice glass of red wine to celebrate PeeWee's homecoming.
welcome evenadine! My first suggestion is to run away quickly if you ever want to have time for anything else. This is addicting! (Kidding about running away, but it IS addicting.) goforit is almost always kind enough to post statistics for the game pretty early on, so look for those (they're the first post today). That way you'll know how many start with each letter and won't keep looing for i words after you've found the only one in today's puzzle, for instance. Also, s/he tells us how many there are of each length which can help in finding those last few elusive words. Usually as people find the "big' words (at least 6 letters, but usually 7 or more) they'll post hints in the log. Sometimes it's just starting letter, or starting letter and points. Sometimes a definition is included. Either way, it helps you know where to look for those big ones that can be harder to just see. Finally, relax and enjoy. Your first few puzzles may prove difficult, but you'll quickly develop your babble eye. :)
Evanadine - good luck with the game - you'll soon be hooked! No real hints or suggestions, other than it's one of those games you seem to get better at the more you play. Checking the message board for the stats is always useful as you know what to aim for - finding them all is another matter though!
thanks for the suggestions so far! im finding tons of 4-letters...a coupla 5s and even a few 6es. :)
Oooh found an O/7/44! There are 2 6s that go with it as well.
ooh! found an O/7 - 44
A is the only letter really kicking my butt right now. If anyone can help on them it would be most appreciated. Happy to help on any of the others. I have: ai7 al7 al4 am4 ap4 av5 av6 av4
I'm way behind you, but have an ap5
there is another al4
the nearly-identical M8 and L8 have me stumped!!
evenadine - One other clue I can give is to check out how the point scoring works over on the right. For an 8 letter word to be worth 45 points the tiles must add up to 9. So, it has to consist of 7 1-point letters and a 2-pointer. There are only 2 2-point letters in this grid. This is generally a good way to find the right direction on any word once it's hinted at. Thanks to the others for A hints!
Found a third Al4
At least 4 letter word are easy to noodle!
There are 2 AM4s :)
finally!! got the M8 and L8!! thanks for the guidance. :)
Re: A's.. there's an AT4 and an AT5.
I'm still missing one A and I've not got either the A7 (not the illness one) or the two 8s that are almost identical.... BUT I do have 3 Am4s and 1 Am5
Thanks for all the help! I think that accounts for all the As. Now just have to find them. Wendrie - The 2 A7 words are awfully similar, so you should be able to take the one you have an noodle it around a bit. The one you're missing is something that nourishes.
Any help on the O's? I have three...I know jlm gave clues about the 7 and two related 6s, but I have three, so there are still three MIA. I have: Od4 Og5 Ol4
The Os go: od4 og6 og5 oi6 ol4 op6 op6 op7 op6
i have the Op 7 but i cant figure out what the related 6es are...hehe...
Remove 1 letter to get one of the 6s. Then, change the last letter to get the other 6.
ahh, im learning new words today!!
Thanks for the A clue - I got it at last.... hadn't thought about the canal..... 134 words 4.53 1547 and that is probably it for the night.
Thanks...trying (unsuccessfully) to work as well as playing and finally had time to find the rest of the Os. How come I can't get paid to Babble? :-(
The missing 7 has to start with either an E or a T. But there are so many of both of those, it's hard to decide where to start looking! I'm missing 2xE and 3xT. Sigh . . .
The missing 7 is an E for 40 points. The dictionary definition is "Of, relating to, or being the grammatical case indicating motion out of a place in some languages, as in Finnish hotellista, “out of the hotel.”" but it sounds like something that would make you very happy. :)
Thanks for that great clue. I agree with your definition! :-)
OK, unless I'm much mistaken I'm missing a T5. If anyone can point me in the direction I'd be ever grateful! I have so far a TA5 and 4xTE5. Does anyone have another?
there is another TE5
my te5's are pointwise: 18 12 10 10 10
Thanks. I'm missing a 10, so off to hunt.
Yay! I can't find a definition for the word, but I found it. So, 167/1992
just came back to the game...im missing SO many words...hehe...
I have an O/6/24. Is it related to the O/7?
i have 2 O/6es that are related to the O/7 and both are worth 30
May I please have a clue for the L/8 and the M/8? I can't find them.
2nd letter for both is "i"
evanadine, thanks and welcome to Babble. It is really an addicting game but I love it.
thanks periwinkle! i gotta run, but im sure ill be back later/tomorrow :)

shortsheer, I clicked on the question mark for the s/7/36 and it said: relating to space. Not sure where you got "hospital" from.
Thank you Shortseer! This will help me get those last few sixes :)
