And isn't old M4 looking like 50 miles of bad road these days
he does look like he's done too much in life
And Keith Richards looks like a walking, talking cadaver
i got grossed out by him having a baby with a young woman.. she was like 26 or something
keith has always looked like a cadaver
Jagger was 73 when that baby was born. That is ridiculous.
i wonder if she squeezed him and dust came out
Not to many people are still having children when they become a great grandparent
it's just stupid.. how selfish in my opinion
Well, it is all for the benefit of the mother so she will always have some attachment to his money. A sad way to bring a kid into the world, though.
that was my point
Wow, Tony Randall became a dad at age 80
Richard Gere just had a baby too.. god knows how old he is

still.. not really great for the kid
I can't imagine that someone over 60 has the energy it takes to raise kids. But the rich folk leave that to the nannies.

Hanging in there, harp. My brother died, it's been really hard on my 2 younger sisters, especially the one who lost her husbandlast summer (she spent a lot of time with Mark after her hubby died)
Hi granny
oh, nef, how sad. you must be devastated.
It has to be very difficult!
hi nef
granny, my baby brother had ALS; he lived 2 years with that diagnosis.
that's hard, nef. was his passing peaceful?
Yes, granny. 2 of my sisters, his wife & I were with him when he passed. But he raged against dying until the last day & a half before that.
you and your poor family have been in a very hard place. especially when your brother was expressing his anger. it would have been very difficult to handle, i'm sure.
I do have a funny story about my being there; however. My older sister lives in Helena, MT; about 130 miles from Missoula,MT where all of the rest of my siblings live. She called me at 4:30PM on Sunday (Jan. 20th) & said the mountain passes between Helena and Missoula were too dangerous to drive; could I go to be with my sister & the family? (I live in St. Paul, MN; 1100 miles away). I called the airline company and was on the plane in 3 hours!
and my manners are sadly lacking. i should have offered my sincere sympathies to you and your family first please forgive. not a good excuse i know, but your news hit me hard. i am the eldest of 5, the other four are male. and i know what a bond can be forged between a bro and his sis.
It's been a rough winter here in western Montana, that's for sure!
(It tickled me that she couldn't get there, so she called me to get there first!)
Reminds me of a trip from Missoula to Cincinnati. The ones who drove got there quicker than the ones who flew, due to a freak snowstorm.
nef, how lovely that your sister felt she could rely on you to be there.
It has been a rough year, out there, harp. My brother-in-law had drowned in the high waters while rafting in June.
And harp, that sounds really odd that the driving car would beat a plane! :-)
oh, my. I didn't realize that. Our family lost someone in 1996, my brother in law, in a kayak accident on the Stillwater River.
Yeah; Fred drowned on Rock Creek. he was with a large group of friends & they had always gone to Rock Creek for that weekend; (it was also Fred & my sisters' anniversary).
The Rock Creek by Missoula?
The Stillwater River? In MT? I don't think I've ever heard ofit before. Where is it?
Yep, *That* Rock Creek.
Stillwater is south of Columbus. It flows out of the Beartooth Wilderness and joins the Yellowstone near Columbus.
Okay, it just doesn't sound like a Montana river (to me, anyway).
Montana is one of those Big Square States.
True; but the river names all sound so "western."
