pretty good! Rose and Don are back here, after their trip to Scotland, and we went right back into spending time together. It is awesome.

we have decided that this is not gonna be the last time we meet in person. Rose may not be able to travel here again, but Rob and I can travel to them... and if we do, we hope we will be able to visit you and your beloved as well.
it won't be for another few years... first the tiny house. But then, saving for the journey... that would be so good.
That would be awesome - for everyone. I didn’t expect that it would be your last time with Rose but I’m sorry that she may not make it over to you again.

That’s a shame. I imagine it’s all been pretty tiring for you both
it is. But worth it. And we do take lots of downtime and rest. Don said he feels like he is having a real holiday. No rushing to see everything they can, just enjoying their stay.

No. We’re staying at b & bs and my hubby is driving, so it’s at our own pace and we stop and take photos wherever we feel like it.

That's good, sometimes the tours kind of rush you about from place to place.
They certainly do - we really felt that in Italy last year.

We had one touring holiday in Italy a few years ago but felt we weren't quite old enough to need it. Does that make sense?
I reckon you might need longer if you want to really see some of those remote places.
The Isle of Skye is magical.
We felt last year that it was the most efficient way for us to get to see what we wanted. We started with a river cruise in France before going to Italy.
I’d love to go there.
My husband is heading to Skye on Monday, birdwatching is taken seriously here..
It is efficient and you do get to the major places with travel arrangements taken care of, but we felt rebellious at times having to get on and off the coach with everyone else.
I think my hubby would enjoy the photography there.
I completely agree. But we weren’t about driving on the right either.
I just hope the midges behave themselves. West coast Scotland is notorious for them.
I thought they’d be more midges here.

I think the midges are in July. We were there in June and it was fine. The Trotternish Peninsula is amazing for hiking.

I never pay much attention to people who say the grids are "easy". Some people seem to sail right through them, no matter the difficulty. Others find a challenge, which is part of the fun of playing.
