flippin' GP says i now have diabetes. diagnosed on blood results only.no polyuremia, no polydipsia, no hypo's, no hypers, no neuropathy. bah !! humbug!! now that is going to follow me for the rest of my life. even when i lose weight, and reduce that fat on my pancreas. SO NOT HAPPY...
well, better not wait for the neuropathy to start before treating the diabetes... Am sorry, honey, I know it sucks. You may want to buy a test kit and keep a log doing 3 tests a day, seeing how you do overall.
and... she wants me to see a diabetes educator. i just glared at her evilly and said NO. for goodness sake !! would she like to see my third year exam essay on diabetes. it went for 3 pages...

but things have changed over the years... new insights... it never hurts to learn a bit more.
i bet i know more about it than the educator. i have been keeping up to date because my nephew has infantile/childhood diabetes.

if you lose weight after the surgery, your bloodsugar levels will go way down. You will be free of symptoms for years to come. But please take it seriously, okay? Diabetes is very treatable, but untreated, it will kill. After making life very very miserable.

i remember one summer, when there were bush fires all around us, i climbed onto the roof of our house and ran a soaker hose right along the ridge. it dropped the temp inside the whole house by nearly 20 degrees.

What is a body pump?
I had to look it up. It's an exercise class with weights.
I used to do Body Pump classes.
there are different kinds of classes by Les Mills. Body Flow is kinda like yoga. Pump is with barbells. I don't rem. the others. They have choreographed exercises to a group of songs that changes monthly, but it is the same across the country.
