Wordracer solver says 188 words, two 8+ letters, eighteen 7-letters. Weird.
S7/32
just what i need , a puzzle to keep me uo late.
f7/40
L7/32 You might consider it something having to do with length
t7/28 and another L7/28
F8/55
f7 44
only an "H" short of gonorrhea :)
hmf they dont believe in santa
O7/32
Also an O7/28
i7/32
May I have a clue for the f/8/55.
There is an ironic F7/8 combo.
Doesanyone have the stats yet?
good clue fnurt!
still have yet to figure out any 7s or 8s
i could do with a clues for the 7s and 8s if anyone can help. thanks
Here's what I have (not many yet): F7/40 someone who puts down an indoor walking surface (combo w/5) i7/32 someone who chooses not to pay attention to something (combo w/6) L7/28 not harsh or strict L7/32 has to do with length (not in dictionary) (combo w/4)
finally got an 8! F8 / 55
yankee doodle...
thanks berekah
berekah: those are great clues! im still having trouble with the length-related one...trying to think creatively...hehe...
ibkt 5 3'a pbs 0 4'a GWKO!!! uNCRACK THE MESSAGE!
it's almost like it's a slang word for the clothes people wear in the winter under their normal clothes (both terms would give away too much). Think very creatively. Speaking of clues, any clues for the 8, evandine? :-)
theres an F5/16 - they go together.
That f/5-7 combo has to do with a crime and the plural
crikey! finally got that L7 one...my math was just off! lol...
got an L&/55 not strick or mean Cheddar Cheezios! They taste like cheese!
I mean L7/55
does anyone have the full stats yet?
You can't make a 7 worth 55 points. And I think some confusion may be due to the fact that both 8s are 55 letter F words. One has to do with the clue that fit1 just gave, and the other was clued to earlier by fnurt.
do we have any other clues besides the one fnurt gave? (im not sure ive got the right F7to go off of)
It's "iron"-ic because it has to do with iron.
fnurt's ironic clue is - well - really quite ironic
hrmmm....ill have to ponder an "iron" word that starts with F!
thanks mom
I think I have three 7's that haven't been clued yet: L7-28 - crazy people T7-32 - tightening up T7-32 - pestering or mocking
great clues, krys10. thanks!
What's with Santa not being a valid word? BAH HUMBUG!
T7/28 the tightening
Santa is a person and therefore his name is capitalized. ;)
No, the one I have is a 7-32. There must be two.
There are 2. One is the act of of, and the other is the result (a noun).
Ah yes, there are two T7's related to tightening. One is a 32, the other is a 28.
S7/32 a set of one
i have a S7/32 that isnt a set of anything...so i guess theres another S7/32
I'm not sure, but I don't think the M/7/36 has been mentioned yet. It's the plural of a 6 meaning "A stone block with a shallow concave surface, used with a mano for grinding corn or other grains."
From what I can tell, we've collectively found 12 out of the 18 sevens. Assuming there are really 18 - hopefully we'll get Enable stats soon!
13, with testing's M7.
mine could also be a men's clothing item...what is yours?
Yes, there are at least 2xS/7/32. The other is an Italian person. I thought it was a man, but I can't tell from the dictionary definition given if it's a man or a woman.
Never mind, I've lost count. There's lots of sevens out there.
so far, i think i have (some i have found, some not) 14 7s on my list
OK, I have 15x7. I'm not sure which ones have already been mentioned, so I'll just list them here: 44 F - ? no idea but rhymes with a T32 40 F - iron related 40 F - one who lays a walking surface 32 i - one who doesn't pay attention 28 L - not strict 32 L - slang for winter wear 28 L - crazies 36 M - the stone for grinding hinted to before 28 O - chemical salts 32 O - types of tea 32 S - Italian person 32 S - group of one or clothing item 32 T - making fun of 32 T - tightening 28 T - result of tightening
i havent figured out either O7 yet
ok, im missing T7/28, F7/44, O7/28, and the S7/32 dealing with clothing
evanadine...you wouldn't be the diarylander i know by that name, would you?
i would be ;)
how funny...I'd be stonebridge. =)
well, hello stranger. :) i think i got this site from your diary...hehe...
testing, I think the only one you're missing that's been hinted at is the L7/28 crazy people
Nope, that one is there too. I just called it "crazies" instead of "crazy people".
I am disappointed 'fatgens' is no word. ;-) Having a late start... hope I can catch up with you.
ok, of the 15 we have so far, the only one i cant figure out is the O7/28 dealing with chemical salts... :/
It's a word that comes up fairly often and starts with a 4/4.
oops...gotta learn to read better. :-)
There was a band whose name started with the same four letters as the O salt word.
hah, i dont have a 4/4 that starts with O.....gets working on that
heh, youd think the band clue would give it away....but all im seeing is "oreo" (can you tell im hungry??)
You can continue to be hungry and get one of the O/4/4 words. It's not the one used for the salt, but it's similar. And I've never heard of the band either. Maybe it's not particularly well known?
it was an obscure band. Change one letter from oreo.
ok, i have a 4/4 (and i think its the right one...hehe...) now to work on the salt thing
*grrr* still stuck on the chemical salt one!
...there are at least two o4 words. If one doesn't work, try changing the last letter and see if that helps.
If I've read the log correctly, I think I’ve got the three 7s that are missing: 32 A - Putting one's stake into the pool in poker before the hand is played 28 E - The alimentary canal 32 E - soon
Thanks Milly! Got all 18! :-)
alimentary canal? i cant think of another name for that starting with E :/
what fun to start out with a 7 staring out
evanadine, add an ending to the name of the key on the computer you press often -google is a friend-
ashy: thanks for the clue! i was using google, but just couldnt come up with anything close...now i just gotta get the "soon" E7/32 and ive got all the 7s!
here are the full stats. now i'm off to get work done, back later: Ax13 Ex13 Fx31 Gx8 ix8 Jx4 Lx15 Mx15 Nx5 Ox13 Rx20 Sx17 Tx29 ===== 8x2 7x18 6x27 5x57 4x87 191 total
great! thanks :-)
work?! come now, we know better than that!! ;)
=P I mean it. I'm working just as soon as I'm missing fewer than ten Ts...
i still cant get the last E7 that means "soon" :/ ithink my brain might be dead
Think poetically.
Here is what I have so far... Ta4x5 Ta5x2 Te4x6 Te5x2 Te6x2 Te7x3 Tr4x3 Tr5x1
i was an english lit major, i CANT think poetically...lol...
I have TA5x3, TA6.
Ooh, I got the "soon" word - and I'm a math person! It's a compound word, if that helps - I would have guessed it was hyphenated.
Ta4x6 now. 2 to go...
I have Ta5x4, and a bucha Trs to look for. Thanks!
any updates?
Can anyone help with E's? I just can't see any more. Ea5x2 Eg4 En4, 5, 6, 7 Er7 Et4
I have an EA6 and an ET5
theres an Ea6
im having trouble seeing anything new at this point...and i only have 105 words. heh
There are 2xEN6. Still missing 1 E here as well.
I have 2x En4 and 2x En6
The missing E is a second EN4.
i still never got the Er7 (i think its one of those thats so obvious i just cant see it!)
evanadine, you probably have the L4/5 that is the second part of the compound.
evanadine: look for "When Love Was Born" by Sara Teasdale
