mlf, you will enjoy this - a friend of mine, originally from Massachusetts, is now a school nurse at an elementary school in Phoenix, Arizona. The fifth grade has been learning about the 13 original American colonies, founding fathers, etc. The students were assigned to research a patriot they found particularly interesting. THREE of the kids brought in projects about Tom Brady! lolololololol

my two grandkids are competitive gymnasts and have had the chance to meet several Olympians at the camps they've attended

yes, they are always excited to see who the "celebrity" for the camp week is going to be - they have met Gabby Douglas, Jason Dalton, Lori Hernandez, and Nadia Comenici (sp?) and gotten their pictures taken with them. They were "guest" coaches at the camp also so they had a chance to interact / talk with them

this girl i grew up with she did gymnastics until she was in her teens. Her daughter is or was doing gymnastics as well. I don't know how either of them did in terms of how many they won or where they travelled to etc

the yo word is very very weird in here..........they choose some hebrew words and not others. how? yomim is not exactly used in the english language at all. very weird.........

for sure molly, but the issue is how do they choose which words to allow and which not to. i know hebrew and yiddish and some stuff they dont put in suprises me as it is common use. yomim is not common at all.

And then there are all those people who think "alot" is a word
and a new one I hadn't seen before - my niece bought a file off etsy to make a t-shirt and it had "ya'll" in it. her mom & I were like, no, that's not right. she argued some with us and I explained to her that an apostrophe takes the place of the removed letters in a contraction and she finally agreed to fix it.
