Mine is plural for an S7/36

1:37 am

hmm.. I didn't realize mine was a plural for another word, but it is.

1:38 am

not sure what it means, though. The only dictionary definition I could find said it was a Scottish word meaning, "stilthy". Whatever that is.

1:40 am

S7/36 a plural

1:40 am

Ok I just got my 100th word. That means it's time for bed! : ) That and the fact that it's 2o til 3 here and I still have to finish up some cooking in the morning.

12:23 pm

I've got 2 of the 8s S8/50 S8/60

12:32 pm

Atalante, I used testing's tip of yesterday (or the day before) and looked the word up in infoplease.com. :-D

12:33 pm

Got the same 8's as you do. We'll hunt for the 3rd one...

12:39 pm

Anyone want to compare As and Es? I'm missing three As: Ac4x3, Ac5 As4, As5, As6 At6, At7x2 and missing two Es: Ea4 Ed4, Ed6 Et4

12:42 pm

*goes searching for the last 8*

12:43 pm

As : AT4, AE6, AS5

12:44 pm

there's an EI4

12:46 pm

Can't believe 'bedside' isn't there!

12:54 pm

Not to mention 'seicento"!

12:55 pm

For a T7/36 I have a dictionary entry being: a. The sweet sap of several tropical Asain palm trees...used as a beverage and b. A liquor fermented from this sap.

12:56 pm

Is that the one mentioned earlier with all the vowels? It is driving me nuts!

12:59 pm

Thanks Atalante! Also found the last E - an En6.

1:01 pm

That sap one has already been talked about on a cold night

1:03 pm

Oh, I see, thanks Atalante. Any clues on that all-vowel-T7 perhaps?

1:04 pm

oops! i'm sorry--I'm not too thorough going through the messages...: )

1:09 pm

noooo idea unfortunately ><

1:14 pm

Too bad... ;-) 'Benedict' - just not there either. FRUStrating!

1:18 pm

or 'subtotal' *lol* Aaarrrrgghh! Keep seeing words that aren't in the grid!

1:30 pm

Ah, the 3rd 8 is a D60. No wonder I found it with my committed searching.

1:39 pm

D7/32: darkest, gloomiest.

2:00 pm

ok, my babble screen just expanded and now i can't see the words i entered... help

2:02 pm

Guess I am there: 231 words / 4.82 / 3108 points. But I still have no T7 using all the vowels. Probably I misunderstood the following entry and sent myself on a useless quest... At 01:10 am dolphin said... "T7/36 really! it has all the vowels..."

2:03 pm

Yeah, I know. Compliments of one Matthew. You have to scroll right to see your list... messaged Babble already.

2:06 pm

thanx, i thought that it was something lame that i did to my computer. back to questing!!

2:07 pm

Really loved this grid! So many fun words.

2:11 pm

i'll never have time to finish this, never ....

2:14 pm

not like i finish many of them anyway, some times i get close, finished a couple ....

2:18 pm

Ah well, finishing is nice, but every word you find is fun, right? If you can finish the S today, you have as much words as are in some grids in total! *lol*

2:25 pm

i like searching for words finding ones i didn't know, it's the searching for them that is fun, my favorite so far has been irenic, and the alternate spelling .

2:28 pm

That's exactly what I like so much about this game. My favorite is 'sonsie' and alternate spelling. Where else would you come across such a word?

2:37 pm

sounds french, in a crossword puzzle : )

2:46 pm

You're right, of course... but I like babble better! Time for me to go to sleep. Have fun hunting!

5:26 pm

arghh! he's everywhere . . . !!! (bush)

8:12 pm

Is anyone else haveing a problem with the size of the page? I came home and suddenly it's huge and I have to scroll way over

10:53 pm

Sorry for the earlier chat log problem that caused the width of the page to get a little out of control. I've deleted the offending messages, and everything should be back to normal. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope the tryptophan isn't hindering your Babbling capabilities! :)

11:54 pm

The message at 1:10 about the word having all the vowels.... I think it was meant that the PUZZLE had all the vowels- in response to a statement I had made the message before (about the puzzle being big).

11:55 pm

*lol* Yes, I realised that later... after my interesting and absolutely useless goosechase! Sometimes I am just too stupid to be blonde... ;-)

12:00 am

sorry about that- if I'd gotten on earlier I would have told you- but today was Thanksgiving and I had two huge family dinners to go to. I was gone all day!
