very close guess min
Wow! I was right on the money! I gussed 265 words exactly!
Flip flip hooray!
sa8
and that's one impressive guess, min!
So that has been 2x so far where I made the right prediction
Well on that note, I must log off now. See you all next time!

83 left, be back in the morning, tata to you all! happy babbling!
pa 7 x2, pa 9
are those a "set', rain? I have pa7 x 3 and am wondering...
not really. rbud. only one pa7 leads to the pa9.
okay, ty, I have those. :)
ma 8
ty, brandy
brandyjack!!! long long time no see
wow, found a tm 6
okay, have as8, ma8, re8, and sa8 - could someone clue me the 8 I'm missing? thanks
ty, diz
missing the st 8
thanks so much - I don't like to use the list too early - or at all if I can swing it, haha
wow, now that's an odd word.
want to clue it?
i still haven't figured it out.......
its a biochemistry thing, aha. let's see.... thinking
too weird to piece together for me, how about the definition? "the lipase present in pancreatic juice."
i'm still trying to figure which of the 2 point letters is the lone one....
that's not working, as I try it, sorry.
st + anagram for big monkey + there are seven deadly ***s
that works!
thanks. was a cruel word.......
oh, whew! hard to clue, glad it made some sense.
could you also clue the pa9?
well, it comes from a pa7, what you do to a dog's head + the monster from the Loch - then plural.
another odd one if you ask me.
yeah, odd. pa7 makes sense but not sure why you'd ever need to use the plural
it's a stretch for me to imagine using even the 7, haha - "the pa7 of your answer is blatantly irritating!"?
but i feel like i've read it, like Dickens or Trollope or somebody would have used it
the state of being of a small square of butter? :D
and i used your list of 8s but did not find ma8
saw lots of not-quites
like martinet and marinate and stuff
ma 6&8 make me think a person looks like a female horse - haha
same thing I thought! but then that plural - another silly one? I'm just too lazy to look up the def.
*puzzling*
wel, whattaya know, it's a variation of the spelling for a swamp synonym
between that and morewords, i finally got it
thanks
olde English, it seems, maybe
yw
guess the plural works with that, then, not so silly.
se 6/21?
nm
i have some really-bad-infection ones for that
thanks! didn't have those.
that is why i always disregard "nm" posts :D
and I am glad you do! :)
if i could just get a couple more bottom A
and like one more left M
that'd be pretty satisfactory
missing a fair amount of both of those. well, have 5 off that M and 10 from that A. Bet you have more. :D
5 M, 16 A
but, at least i have the nicest cat in the whole wide wold
since you made me look, I closed out that particular M. me 5, 6, 6, 5, 4, 5, 6, 4
thems some mad skills right there
thanks!
well, i've got 90% of the words now
so
i think i say a fond ttfn and skedaddle
I'm only down to 91 left, but that's good so far. Laters and thanks for help! :)
(still listless)
Really, what other game has words that have to do with pancreatic juices? : D
I'm researching the pancreas, and not finding it ;)
Can you tell me what it starts with, please?
It's the st8
got it, but certainly is obscure
I am not getting the st8
hi all
can someone give another clue for the st8 I don't see it in chat
I saw an earlier clue that said the st8 contained an anagram of big monkey but I do not see how that is possible
it was st + anagram of a big monkey + there are seven deadly ***s
peri s would you like some hot or cold *** (a drink) then the rest of that clue by rbud.. I used morewords to get it
ty mlf and rbud
yw peri
it's a hard one for sure.

hi ori
foggy over your way?
Just overcast here
foggy here.. or maybe i am :D
Having a heat wave
It's supposed to rain later. I hope it stops since I'm doing an outdoor thing Sunday
outdoor thing? it's freezing outside yuck
It will be cold by our standards. I'll have to wear the puffy coat that makes me look like Burl Ives.
don't talk about cold -- going down to -21C here tomorrow
♪Silver and gold, silver and gold♪
65 here tomorrow
I don't know how you Canadians stand that kind of weather. I would be miserable.
that's downright balmy, bich
It's what you are acclimized to
we bundle up when we have to go out but mostly stay indoors.
haha nan I was about to say 21C is not that bad - then noticed the minus -- eek
I can't imagine minus degree
living in Africa anything less than -5 is unheard of
I would have a hard time "acclimating" to constant freezing temperatures. That is not something I would find it easy to get used to.
i've been in minus degree weather.. it's awful
just as we cannot take what we consider to be the extreme heat that you get in summer, Molly
I live in Durban on the east coast which is tropical and we cry like babies when the temp goes below 18C
But then we are crying like babies with temps of 28 to 34C with high humidity right now
I had a Canadian husband and he didn't miss the cold one bit. And he loved summers here.
depends on whether you are talking fahrenheit or celcius, ru
mind you, -21 is cold in whichever
i was in winnepeg once and it was 60 below F
I guess when you grow up freezing your ass off every winter, warm summers are a welcome relief.
i got frostbite in my feet
i'd love to freeze my ass off.. i have some ass to lose
yes -- there is a reason we call it winterpeg
If you dont like your climate, just wait a few years
Thanks, Molly. Now I can't stop humming "Silver and Gold." :D
hahaha ruru - in the same boat
there are definitely creatures living in my wardrobe who carefully sew all my clothes smaller each week
I could be quite happy with a range of 68 - 75 F year round
i'd be happy from 75-90 year round

is their a te 5/10 after pl of canvas dwelling?
ooh - a pa 7-9 combo -- ty ru
now why can I find that and not a bunch of smaller words?
we have strange brains don't we cyber?:)
well done nan.. that's a word i haven't seen before either
you said a mouthful there mlf :D
it doesn't look or sound like a real word
the 7, yes, but the 9, no
yes i found the 7 and then decided to plural it
ok - going to the list for the final 50
Does the pa start with the pa 4 - that thing you do when you overtake (say, a car on the motorway)?
no
matty It could be a person's name or when you pa* a dog on the head
OK, looking!
does the grid have a te 5/10 pl wordbefore or after the camp canvas dwelling ?
We're doing Dry January (not exactly by my choice). I had no idea non-alcoholic gin was a thing. In truth, it really isn't - it's an...aromatic mixer, I guess. Not bad, but not gin
need a breakfast break -- bbl
bye cyber
never heard of a gin with no alcohol
i'm doing a partially dry January Matty.. that works much better for me
both mlf
I'd have preferred a moist January, if you like. But Jeff's decided we're dry
hi blah can you clue it pls?
https://seedlipdrinks.com/uk
pl of te 4/4 what a kitten nurses on
Can I have a nudge on that PA7 - 9 combo, please?
and before that te 5/10 to rib someone
matty it starts with a person's name which is 3 letters or and ends in loch ne** and the pl
pa 7 pa* on the head and loch **** then pl
does that kitten nurses on end in a?
no
oh I know the kitten oen I have it
and to pick on somone
Thank you - I thought I'd tried something like that, but clearly it was 'something like that' and not, well, that.
yvw
mlf there are 2 more te 5/10 before the camping thing but i don't have them yet...will look

i am just trying to find my last two t words not sure what both are but a 5/10 seems to be one of them
one more after pf of canvas dwelling?

ok
maybe you're thinking of the assless pants, Molly
firewords! thanks peri, lickety (54), rbud and all cluers. te7/40 was my last
congrats!
Assless pants sounds like something the Kardashians would wear
with butts like that it's amazing they'd put on pants
Sometimes when people think they are making a fashion statement, it's really a disaster statement
you mean dis-asster statement
Walmart is a great place for viewing women who think they look good in pants, who really don't. : D
i so rarely go to walmart i wouldn't know
I would rather be attacked by a swarm of killer bees than go to Walmart.
the kardashians are hideous people to me..
how are you on costco ori :D
I do go to Costco monthly or so. The clientele is a little different.
I agree about the kardashians. I have a friend who thinks they're beautiful. God.
i haven't gone to a costco in more than two decades now
i actually channel surfed on their stupid show and it's so pointless and narcissistic it's beyond belief
fireworks for me!
any clues before i go?
I don't understand the point of the Kardashians :D Do they do anything? Act, sing?
there is no point to reality tv.. it's boring and pathetic
followed by people who wish they were rich
ok hagd all!
Bye, Leslie

oh, btw. i had my first ever authentic argentinian meal yesterday. i am converted.
oh.. yeah.. argentinian and brazilian food is interesting
except for the hot beetroot dish. *gag, gag, gag8 all my mum's fault. she forced me to eat the stuff as a child.
i love beets
so good for you
how was it prepared?
this place makes all their own stuff and/or sources their ingredients locally. they served potatoes done on garlic butter. cooked fully by steaming/boiling then plunged into the hot butter to crisp the outside.
the beets? in some sort of clear suace with pinenuts, i think.
oh.. i like them with balsamic dressing and blue cheese and leafy greens and orange segments.. it's delicious
beets are a big part of local cuisine here
crumbed calamari, honey glazed carrots, chorizo sausages with capsicums, oh and home-made bread rolls served with a sort of pumpkin "jam".
that sounds great
and steak...oh my....about 4" thick, slow cooked then seared over flames. it fell apart just with a fork.
yep.. that's what they're famous for
needless to say we had no tea last night. and dessert. home-made cinnamon donuts with a caramel sauce. i inhaled mine...loll
best meal i have had since forever.
that's nice what was the ocassion?
my son and his wife take Don and i out every year about this time instead of Christmas etc. it's lovely to be spoiled like that. Jenn always picks the most interesting places to go.
nice.. that's really nice
I've stopped speaking with my brother again, but fortunately i've been in touch with a few of my cousins lately (since september)
hi all. any clues for the 9 or 8s?
ty
did i tell you eldest son has rejoined our family unit? he came to our family picnic Boxing Day. first time for 15 years. sat down beside me, sighed, and said, this is what Christmas is about, mum. kids running everywhere, food galore laid on, perfect weather.
that is fantastic news.. no.. i hadn't heard that
sorry to read that ruru. i hope it is short-lived for both your sakes.
probably not gr.. it's ok.. i did my best to help them.. but they like things the way they are .. .dysfunctional and screwed up
