1:03 am

Krys10, thank you! How was your holiday?

2:19 am

s7/48 still searching for the others :)

2:21 am

found the F too, F7/40

2:23 am

You are doing much better than me, metags. Haven't found anything above 6 yet. Perhaps 2 hours sleep a night for some period of time isn't too great for babbling skills. ;-)

2:26 am

the T8/50 is a compound word. Just lucky or on a roll, sprite ;) But now it's my bedtime!

2:30 am

Just found it. Good night to you!

2:38 am

Hey, professor Lupin is in there!

2:49 am

The F7 is a great word! (not a clue, just a comment lol)

2:51 am

could they be why testudo never flies and the liions at u of michigan don't roar?

3:00 am

*lol* onyx!

3:14 am

Learned a new word, again. "The buying or selling of ecclesiastical pardons, offices, or emoluments." Puts one of our bisshops, with a similar name, in an new perspective... ;-)

3:29 am

O7/28

4:06 am

Aye, a very scottish Y5/20.

4:29 am

Just enter a not valid word or a word you have used before... and babble gives you one word for free!

4:46 am

Potterish grid... also something professor Snape likes to make.

4:47 am

And that was it for today, folks... 125 words / 4.67 / 1617 points

6:01 am

sprite, may I have a clue for the o/7?

6:09 am

A clue for the T/8 would be appreciated.

6:11 am

nevermind, found the T/8 by myself. i am really getting better at this game.

6:52 am

well, can I have a clue for it then, Periwinkle????

7:37 am

the t/8 is found in an arch. compound word 3 and 8 letters.

7:54 am

How can these words be soooooo obvious as soon as you know what you're looking for? Thanks Wendrie!

10:28 am

I can only find one E in this puzzle

10:35 am

O7: small opening or pore, as of a fruiting body E's: 5-4-6-4

10:38 am

I just worked through the E's myself: 1) an organic compound (hydroxyl group bonded to carbon) 2) transvestism 3) obsolete plural of the organ you see with 4) to remove, withdraw, or conceal (not in order)

11:32 am

I have 2 fl4 and one fl7. What am I missing?

11:34 am

May I have a clue for the S/7, Please?

11:43 am

I have an fl6

11:44 am

May I please have a clue for the fl6?

11:45 am

1 FL4 and 2 FL6s

11:53 am

One fl6 is like the fl7 with a letter missing. And the other one sounds the same but is spelled differently. The dictionary doesn't give any meanings for them. And why, I want to know, won't Babble accept the perfectly good word 'foley', as in 'foley artist' ?

12:03 pm

Thanks Krys10 for the great clues.

12:07 pm

12:09 pm

1:28 pm

Two more Lo

1:33 pm

Could you help a little more? I have lo4x6, lo5x3.

1:35 pm

Then you need 2 more Lo5's.

1:35 pm

1:41 pm

1:48 pm

Got it! Silly word!

1:58 pm

I am having real trouble with the N's. Help help!

2:00 pm

2:01 pm

Sorry, four of the seven.

2:02 pm

A clue for the LO 5/16 please

2:06 pm

It's similar to an L5/10 and I can't find definitions for either of them. Stick to the bottom two rows.

2:09 pm

is is Ly or LO

I really want to make 'poison'. :(

2:42 pm

O.k. Now I'm trying to finish off the Ss.... I've got Si x 4, SO x 2, SP x 6, ST x 11 so I'm missing three....

3:15 pm

You're missing 3 So

3:19 pm

3:32 pm

6x Mi 19x Mo

3:43 pm

Thanks, I found them.

3:44 pm

thanks - now if Babble would let me see the grid again I'd try and find some more words!

4:32 pm

finally Babble allows me to see the grid again (well, it was letting me see the grid my browser just wasn't loading graphics....) I have 121 words 4.69 1581 and know I am missing an E (the second word alphabetically 4 letters), an F (4 FL and 1 FY), two T words (8x4 letters and 1x8 all beginning with TO) and one final MO word.... any thoughts would be gratefully received!

5:03 pm
