This is going to be one of the many "social" problems that stem from what has happened. For many people, the majority of their socialization comes from work.
That's my case, Molly. None of my friends live in my city, so I only see them about once a month (or used to see them, rather).
well socializing in my work is a big part of what I do and that's out the window.. I don't mind being alone here at home though.. it's kind of peaceful .. thankfully the weather is nice

The "Do Not Call" registry is useless. I only have a cell phone, no land line.
Just got rid of my land line - only calls were robo calls
with my cell I know that anytime the area code is mine I don't answer, since it's an old phone and I dont get any real calls from that area code anymore
It won't do any good to block area codes. The bots can bounce off someone's number in your area. I just don't answer if I don't know the name or they are not in my contact list. If a message is left from a real person I can always pick up or call back.
and with the land line if it's the same exchange as me I know it's garbage

Sometimes I receive semi-threatening voicemails that start with "we have tried to contact you several times about your warranty" for example. I also received about 10 from the "IRS" telling me that I was going to be arrested :-)
