I fell asleep outside last night looking for it
next door neighbour had his flood lights on grrrr
I would love a hammock so I could fall asleep looking at the sky.
I was in my hammock seat on my front porch. put me straight to sleep :)
my wife hates it - she thinks we look like hillbillies - which is kind of my goal :)
the fireflies this year are so abundant. looks like the lawn seats at great woods out there
Nice. I would sleep in my back yard all the time if I had a hammock. Being a female in the city, I wouldn't want to sleep out front.
I bought one of those banana style cloth hammocks during the shut down - oh, it's a lovely thing
in NH last week we saw the milky way clearly and lots of shooting stars
Of course, the aging dogs would try to climb up in there with me. That would be a problem :D

our last night was cloudy - but other nights were pretty clear
but no comet - was too low in the sky, and trees were blocking

I've never seen a comet. I live with a lot of light pollution. But I did go to the mountains once when there was a meteor shower. It was awesome.

I saw a comet in college, in 1985 or so. I have forgotten now what it was, but remember marveling at how I could never see it again
I missed it. I'm not sure why. I lived on the coast. In my defense, I had a newborn.
