good night everyone - maybe I'll like this one a lot better in the morning.
Thanks Jess - made a wild guess, which paid off.

Hiya. I know it's early, but does anyone have stats for the G in the bottom row, please?
ge6.24
Thanks - I shall get to searching!
Aaaand I feel stupid now ;)
I think you will get it
I'm such a go.......g
ag
nice thing about the ge6 is it can be typed entirely with the left hand. enabling one to drink coffee while typing the word.
You gotta love the little conveniences of life : D
hi all. help with E in right column please
nm
hah! the only time i ever find lw4 is when its my only choice. morning all!
en5/10
I think Peri got the E word. "nm" means "never mind".
Yes I got that molly - I'd already posted before I saw that. You don't have to be rude.
I wasn't being rude. Sometimes people don't get the abbreviations used here.
thnx Chris - I needed that as well
Well it was certainly patronising.
Your choice to interpret things as you wish. I was trying to be helpful.
Perhaps you should keep your comments to yourself then
Sure, you have yourself a nice day, Chris P.
If I try goat one more time...I'm going to scream!! lol
i got the 9
yes, patronizing
swmbo...what is patronizing?
I'd say condescending
I agree, Bichon.
???
talking about the chatter?
Phae, read the chog forward from 7:55 forward and you will understand.
I read it. It was bound to happen.
FW...HAGD
hi all. clue and stats for the L word please. pretty sure it wiil be LW.
lw 4/8
LW + two vowels
ty got it. SO NOT A WORD!
i hate that words from other languages are in here...
any clues for the 7s? ty.
It's an Angolan coin :)
I don't have any 7s yet
the lw? ty sukee.
yw
AR7 AS7 CI7
GA 6/24, clues please?
ty gramma. now need any clues out there.
AR is a short opera song
AS is a botany word
AR reminds me of a city in Georgia.
CI is a funky spelling of the ci9.
Now back to me and my needs and desires. GA6?
I don't have it yet.
Dang!
gramma it extends the 4 before it. Worn by vsoldiers!!
omg I found the 9 - smooookin! hint hint
doh, I got it. Ty Deeha
Ahh of course. Also worn by cross country skiers to keep their legs warm and dry
That is my first 6
How about the stats for the lone G in column 4?
NM... :)
Ok, half way, I'll be back.
ge 6/24, sukee
often preceded by go
surely there are some people who are an4di4
I am very an4di4
see? i knew it
I mean, I get that people *have* di4s. But in general, it's not healthy and counter productive to go on temporary ones for the purposes of weight loss.
phantom: stink
My persistent phantom is tenia, and I don't even know what it means
we got some weird i words today or am i just being thick? all i found is one lil preposition
did you get the one where you swap two of those vowels around, sam?
I'm finding this to be a surprisingly difficult grid to finish. The first 100 flowed, the last 30 are going to take as much or more time as the first 100
*falls in* Hi, All
I did! Thanks, hursh
hi aussieyou :)
Hi Aussie
How is everyone today?
It's shaping up to be a lovely day for me.
medium
Glad to hear it Sam, a fair to middling day for me hursh
Rs Routed!
LW4?!! New one for me.
good morning everyone :)
Good morning Nan, hoping you are well
hi all. help with er8 please
yes, ty - tryiing hard not to be frustrated with the "new normal" like everyone else
Ts Toppled!
I've only just started peri, so I don't know yet :)
Oh I hear ya Nan

hey nan, aussie, sam....happy friday to you all
7s, i have ar7, anyone have others?
ci 7/40, as 7.36
Ooooh, its a happy friday here. Payday and family time and finished work for the day (overtime tomorrow)
and if the in 5 can be a word why not the ni 4?
funny, the ai i had the 6 but not the 8, but the ci, i had the 9 but not the 7, lol
.......... found the ai6 :D
do you guys think i will need a clue for as7, or is it normal?
I need a clue for the ai 6-8 please
botany term. I'd go with a clue.
ai6 ends like the word for when you wish you had done things different
clue please then! :D
the ai 6 is similar to an eg5 bird that's not in the grid today
differentLY, excuse me
ty hurshy and sam
and the ai8 extends the ending
the as 7 begins with the as4 above it, and adds a consonant and two vowels
I'm not great at cluing, sorry
that's ok, i got it
and now i have just 4 words to go: GADS
I'm down to 23 and going to go to the list
only as 4 I have is the 4/5 and that isn't working
got the G!
as 4/5 is the one I meant. It's the only one I have too.
it is the only as4 there is
ends similarly to "et in arca*** ego" if that's not too obscure
you have to head southwest after the 4
ooooo, there's a Goonie in the grid
a what?
presumably she means a character from the movie "Goonies"
oooohhhhh, right. thanks.
A Goonie.... Not the character, the Actors Surname :)
got the D!
I must have a different as 4/5 I think
no, there is only one
oh - got it - ty hurshy and sam
got the A!
down to just an S5
have sa5/12 and sa5/10, anyone have anything different?
aHA there is also sa5/14
et c'est le fin
'grats!
merci
that was pretty satisfying
17 left here
i stand ready to assist
wd hurshy
44 left here
I listed. I'm tearing through them now. Four left.
think I will head for the list as well - have a lot of sewing to get through today
Yep. I'm spending the day with my husband and while finishing without the list can be fun, I have other priorities today. :)
Done now. See y'all later!
down to 10
not seeing those ag 5
one is normal
found the reasonable one
the other is ag + spanish river (f)
got them - ty
May I have a clue for the er8, please?
gave one a while back biltong
it ends the same way as fant***** mr. fox
er + petrol + facial muscle contraction
ty, cybernan and hurshy -:)
down to 5
hi all. great clues below. ty.
would someone clue the 9 for me? ty.

4 left here
any clues needed?
The a's were a real slugfest today...yeesh
where is Oak Harbor, mub?
Whidbey Island, hour north of Seattle
going to snow here on tuesday
Will be 99F/37C on Sunday...high of 40 on Tuesday
ooh - have only been on Whidbey once visiting friends -- loved it
you must be in or near Colorado, mool?
yep
that is the forecast i heard from my uncle there :D
about 45 mins north of Denver
Very beautiful here, we've had a lovely summer which isn't nearly over, 80's this next week
you're very near my uncle and my sister then mool
yes - it has been a good summer -- supposed to get to the 80's here too in the next couple of days
In Boulder County
Is Oak Harbor the one the ferry comes into?
No, we have the Mukilteo ferry on the south end, and Pt Townsend ferry on west
We use the Deception Pass Bridge
we took the ferry over and the bridge off, so don't know where we were
You probably came into Anacortes and drove over using the Bridge
there was also a lovely harbor overlooked by a townsite -- mainly private vessels -- and the daffodils were in full bloom in the the little park area overlooking the harbor - lovely
we came in at the south end of the island
That would be the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry. Very nice.
we were just stopping in to visit friends we had made the previous year on a Yangtze cruise
dare i ask for another clue or two????????
in
Island Transit runs the length of the Island, and it's free, great for a day trip
actually only need one more: the E in fifth column word please.
en 5/10 mkg - a babblet
i'm moving up that way in a few years mubner
ty nan. i dont know this bablet i think.
ends with a spanish aunt
got it. ty. and cursor was moved.
ty
still looking at the island, ru?
no.. the Port Townsend area actually
oh - you are staying in the states then :)
yeah.. I wouldn't be able to live in canada more than six months a year.. that won't work for me
that's the same reason our snowbirds stay in the states 6 months less a day
not unless I marry a Canadian who loves someone who puns 24/7
I think it would be fine ru, as long as you can become a fan of curling.
oh ha harry
not likely, harry :)
tit for tat
I might pick up hockey though
or at least second city tv
ok - enough procrastinating -- need to get to work. Hagd everyone and stay safe :)
bye nan
grastic sounds like a combination of drastic and gastric
45. listing - I just have no patience today.
41 here and considering listing
come on in, the water's fine
even the small words are twisty in this grid
i'm down to twenty and haven't found a single sever or eight
2 here. they're tough
use that french diminutive ending liberally
oh thanks .. got one
1 to go here
done.
good for you.. still stuck here
anybody need help?
as 7/36 please?
use the 4 immediately preceding, and add the first three letters of double the radius of a circle
thanks Harry :-)
yw
er 8/55, pls
i don't have it bich.. sorry
er + motor fuel + facial stiech
ty Bea
And I'm not even playing...LOL!
See you all tomorrow...
ru, we have friends who just retired to Squeim. Apparently it's the best weather on the peninsula year round, and a short drive to Port Townsend, which is also a fun town.
i know.. but Sequim is really growing quickly and building up big stores.. i prefer smaller and quieter.
but if there's a house on the water in Sequim for a nice price.. i'll pull the trigger on that too. I like the area a lot thanks
:) Everything around here is building up so fast.
here ru - you can buy this one, and run a B&B ! You'll be like Bob Newhart, but on the west coast! https://tinyurl.com/y5ehdj93
ha.. that's a little grander than I'm planning on
Oh come on, it's only a million seven. (Sorry if that was patronizing)
who wants a lawn that big to mow
actually for me at my age smaller is better.. easier to clean ..
my old house just sold for $3 Million (remodeled and updated)
hi all. help with ai8 pls
same ending as ci7 & ci9
ok ty looking
I have an ar7/28
not seeing an ai8 though
The ci7 & 9 both have to do with smoking
I know
ok - so their ending is the same as the ai6 & ai9
oops ai8, not ai9
ty finally figured it out
TY Peri & April - came in at just the right time, had none of them

aw, thanks, Lizlin
It's never easy - doesn't matter how old or whether it's expected. Condolences to you and your family.
true. while I am glad he is no longer suffering, I still start crying randomly throughout the day. and it was tough leaving my mom to come back home.
I completely understand - was like that with both my parents.
I'm sorry.
