She is doing well, thanks. Depending less on the wheelchair and more on the walker. Doing a lot of things on her own that I had been helping with. Still resting but not in the bed.
All three of us are glad to see her feeling better.

It's true that a lot of words are unusual (to say the least) but probably 75% are regular words. Try pluralizing words that you already have--you may be surprised that you've missed plurals. (I often do!)

In general, the rule is never to post a word from the grid in the chat. Some people will even replace a word in their casual with the stats if the word is in the grid.

Welcome Carolina. There is also the imaginary place called the Penalty Box (PB) for short. It originated as a place to go for things like typing words from the puzzle in the chat, but people also put treats in there as well. In fact I just put some warm cinnimon buns in there now.

Well, this is kind of funny. In Alberta, we've now got anti-maskers saying "Defund the police!"
(Basically because the police are enforcing the masking requirements.)
I can understand why people don't think masks prohibit the transmission of COVID. I don't understand why they would go to that extreme. I just wear a mask where necessary and feel glad that people think masks provide safety.
The masks do help prevent transmission. COVID is transmitted both by larger and smaller droplets from the mouth and nose produced when breathing, sneezing, coughing, etc., and the masks catch about 80% of that, as well as helping to limit the amount that you breathe in a bit.
