I definitely feel a theme in this puzzle. After drinking too much ru4s, followed by a bellyful of ou4, George experienced lu7 (I'm sure that's not what the word means, but work with me here). His po7 was definitely wonky due to his wo9. His roomate thought he'd died, but it turned out he as playing po6. The pastor was called who, once George sobered up, administered a se5 and delivered a strongly worded se6.

Wow, I got 5 more words out of that - thanks Matty!

I wonder how many words from the grid one could get into a story. I suspect some would really, truly have to be forced in, though ;)

10:46 am

There must have been a lot of snow on the connector though - no paper yesterday

10:49 am

I guess if this is to become normal weather, we should make sure everything is charged up all the time.

zo6,33?

6:18 pm

6:19 pm

the people who draw the lines for the zo4s?

someone who works with animals

zo,4,9

6:21 pm

you can't go in the neutral zo4 without starting a war with the Romulan Empire, that's the zo4 i was talking about

6:28 pm

I just got this from my health care office. "You may still be able to be a carrier of the virus even after you are vaccinated." So what is the point of getting vaccinated?

6:28 pm

you are less likely to be a carrier, it's just not a guarantee 100%

6:29 pm

So there is no end to this?

6:29 pm

they want people to still be careful, at least until the caseloads go way down

6:29 pm

there is no end to it, of course, just as there is no end to the flu and we get flu shots every year

6:30 pm

but it will become more manageable

6:30 pm

The Pfizer vaccination is supposedly about 95% effective, but that would only be after the second dose.

6:31 pm

So we are wearing masks forever and can never gather with our families and friends?

6:31 pm

And I heard somewhere that the Moderna vaccine is supposed to be good for only 12 months, so regular COVID vaccinations are probably now going to be thing.

6:32 pm

No, obviously it will be a lot safer to socialize once most of the population is vaccinated.

6:32 pm

no molly, we are wearing masks until the caseloads are more manageable, and the virus is reasonably under control

6:32 pm

what is with this all-or-nothing thinking?

6:33 pm

They dn't know yet. A 95% "known" is enouugh to go on. They will (if they are smart) follow ta group that have been vaccinated and exposed and another that hasn't been and see what happpens. It's called the scientific approach.

6:34 pm

(sorry about typos. My Chatterbox is black (don't ask!), so I am literally typing in the dark.. . . I love this grid.

6:44 pm

help with the U?

6:47 pm
