Hi Nan

Maybe people left because the puzzles have been so short lately!
Hi nan
hi all, nbt/nbs,,al 7
Hi Diz and thanks.

FWs
wtg, diz.
Ludo not allowed! It's a very old children's board game in the UK. Morning all!
Also a proper name.
Ludo looks a lot like Parcheesi which is also not accepted
Hi all. May I have a hint, please, for the FL6?
Never mind
Found it
All done. Have a great day all
Hi all. Any clues for the 7?
al7/36
FW!
Last word was te6.24
Ty.
Yeah bea!!!!!!!!!!!
al 6/24, pls
Dont have bichon. Sorry.
Ends like a layered Austrian pastry, usually filled with fruit
A turnover??????
Raindrops on roses and crisp apple...
Great clue!
Turnovers are not Austrian
Ok not sure what the pastry is. Sorry
Oooooh got the pastry!
Well still not getting the al 6 or 7. Hmmm
Just got the al 6. Ty.
Got the seven and six now. Ty very much. Great clues!
Yay!
Thanks, Molly
Fw!!
Yeah une!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tx :-)
Soodle you are in the game today!
Damn, now I'm craving pastry : D
ty Molly
I was thinking that the Austrian pastry was torte
If you do a Google search on Austrian pastry, the word I meant comes right up
Not to mention the "reinvented lyrics" to Raindrops on Roses, a song which mentions the pastry
good morning everyone :)
Hi Nan
Hi Sxrabs. Did your bunnies have a good Easter
Yes, and I have a guest bunny staying in the Cottontail Room for 3 weeks. For my friend that is in Florida for 3 wks.
Good morning, all. Scrabbs has a Bunny B&B.
Yes, this is his third stay at Rabbitat.
He can visit your spa and have his hare done.
tell me more, I'm all ears
I might do a complimentary nail trim before he goes home.
I think the vet must've done Winston's nails when he got his teeth cleaned last week. they definitely seem shorter.
yep, just checked the bill - nail trim - courtesy
Nice.
ty for teh al 6/7
well, I have only found 3 words this morning. must be some weirdos here.
carla, what is your profile picture?
i only have 29 so far hokie
nbt/nbs
good morning
35 to go here
hi harry
hello mlf
te 6/24 please?
don't have it, but that is a very large egg
nm -- got it from the points
I have 20 left that seem impossible
TO! my picture is little bunny cakes. I bought a baby bunny cake pan a couple of weeks ago. :D
I listed at 18 and only found 2 that I should have seen
I was thinking that was probably going to happen, nan. just no way to make real words that I can see.
ah, now i see them
*!*~*!* hagd everyone
bye nan
wtg nan. hagd
owl hokie's icon looks weird to me oo
molly thinks they looks like bunny embryos and is grossed out
i had to click on it to see what it was
late start, much to do. spring cleaning and all.bye
in the thumbnail they remind me of a pan of rolls
um, shall i tell you what they looked lie to me?perhaps not.
bye!
it does kind of look like something from Eraserhead
guess I should change my icon from the giant pysanka
little chickens. perhaps cornish hens.
yeah i have no idea what i thought they were but glad i clicked lol
i will be back...
hmm, my google is not showing any austrian pastry that starts AL and i watched My Favorite Things scene from SoM.
it ends with a misspelling of the pastry
puff pastry, with apple or cherry or cheese
agent 99 is in the grid!
Arrrrgggh...ENDS like the Austiran pastry
oh, it's chemistry? why didn't you say so
now you've got molly all riled up.
well obviously I missed ENDS LIKE
I can't figure out how to word clues so people will actually READ them. Any suggestions?
it's possible I read what others were saying about your clue
As to what Harry said...Barbara Feldon
yay
before my time, but I did try feldon earlier JIC
since I still need 6 Fs!
as well as the bumbling younger corleone brother
Fredo
woohoo
has anyone found the 2nd F in the top row? feel like it has to be FR, yet nothing works
he had a fettucini dish named after him!
Him and his buddy Al
it seems like a plural carla
would it bother y'all if I say I have never seen any of The Godfathers?
you should really take care of that
finally! thanks, HH
I definitely think I tried that
25 to go
15
have to drive my daughter back to college today. but I got my 2nd pfizer this morning - I hope the side effects don''t' hit me on the way back.
me too! good luck. My son had his 2nd pfizer on Th and he came over here on Fr for Easter weekend. He was a little "slow", foggy headed, but that was about it. He said his arm was sore but less sore than the first one.
(BTW, the me too was referring to I hope you don't have side effects on the way back)
hope it's ok. seems randomly severe.
my middle bro had his 2nd on Thu as well, not sure if Pf or Mod, but he had no ill effects whatsoever. my oldest bro had about a 6 hour flu feeling after his 2nd Pf. does seem random.
I'll take a couple tylenol before we leave.
good idea
bbl. 21 to go!
bye! have a safe trip.
still 15. think I'm going to list.
still 4 4's, guess I will look for those first.
well, only found 1 4 and a couple of others, so now 12 with the list.
argh, missed a 4 homophone
Now i am salivating for some of that great austrian pastry.........ugh..........
they're not really my favorite
well, out of my last 12, I should have gotten 11 without the list. disappointing.
what's the 7?
al7
hmm, not fettucine alfredo
Not even close
is it weird?
Yes, and it does rhyme with another pasta in the grid
i think i only have no6 for a pasta
oh, that is it, thank you
hello
hello MLF
hi hurshy
are the tr 6's anything common?
good morning!
i don't have a tr6, but there can't be more than one
good morning mark
morning, marksdolly
sorry i meant te
te6, rhymes with Admiral Horatio ________
ty hurshy
No clue who the Admiral is but it also rhymes with Ozzie and Harriet's last name
Or Mandela's first name
he was a famed British naval man during the Napoleonic wars
sorry, the only other person by that name i could think of at the time was my friend who died last summer, and i knew that wouldn't work as a clue...
i have it already ty
i googled it
may i recommend switching to Ecosia? it's a web browser that plants trees for every search! :)
morning all
I Ecosia'd it
hey hoke
hi mool
hey there ML, happy monday
ssame to ya
tx, should be over 80 here today
has anybody else used A to Z word finder since they changed their format?
I'm sorry I 'm not familiar with it
I think I checked it out one day after people complained and it looked unusable now. I used to use it a while back but then one day it was down and I found bestwordlist.com
hey moo!
hey hoke...happy monday :)
supposed to be 76 here today. I've been working it the attic and it's already getting hot up there.
I'll have to check that out carla
because A to Z is much more difficult to use
luv, there are different ways to use it. I use word begins with and you have to click first letter then second letter, etc
i use morewords
the one time I looked at morewords I thought it was horrible
I have nothing to offer
so smug ;)
I just checked out bestwordlist.com and really like it. Thanks for the info. :-)
i dont like the fact that a video comes up and plays while i am searching
no prob!
MLF does that happen on bestwordlist?
bestwordlist does occasionally have words that aren't on enable FYI
It didn't happen to me just now
she is talking about morewords I htink
think
yes, I've encountered that with A to Z sometimes too & usually got elsewhere if that happens
we each play our own way :)
yes on the morewords page
it is a last resort for me but it's more of I can't stand not knowing what I'm missing than I have to finish
well, thanks for the info. HAGD everyone
yeah, it can be quite frustrating when you know it's there
you too, luv
no 6/24 clue pls?
a bump
kinda like a little knot. rhymes with mo6 (not in grid)
or something that protrudes a little
snoofle and snoodle seem like good words
ty nool didnt have sn 5/12
:)
I live to help others
we know
and play word games, and spot birds...also pretty into hockey
these last few proving stubborn
I actually watched hockey yesterday
ty got it
oh yeah?
a few Dr Seussian words in this one
hockey is my favorite sport to watch live but this was on TV
yeah, I got hooked on it live, but watch a lot of it on TV
no pro team here so I have only seen minor league. still fun.
we used to have season tix to the minor league team here
The Checkers?
fl 6/27, pls
oh, that would be one of the ones I'm missing
oh, no it isn't
fl6/27 is a small flower
but I did find my last f ... so thanks for making me look
tyvm mool
yw
yep the checkers
used to be the ECHL minor league affiliate of the Rangers, until they moved to the AHL
I follow the Rangers
I see
i need D FLAT
that broccoli FL was my last word and I almost had to look it up
:)
I got 3 left
i got that one in my main pass
how about C SHARP, hurshy?
2 left
there's no C or H :D lol
ICYMI, I went to the list with 12 left and should have gotten 11 of those
happens some days
i did not miss that, it's why i'm reluctant to get the list
miss easy ones all the time
well, nan's non-known % was like 90%, so I gave up
hmm
yeah
ok, more lang syne was one of mine, and a boring do4 babblet...
fl5/18, i don't feel bad missing that at all
lu4, ok whatever
and te6/24, also do not feel bad about that one
yeah, sounds like a sci-fi term
help with the re 5/10 I've tried everything!
that was my third last word
maybe you need to go old school jz
did you try bell bottom jeans?
my cat Opie sports a re5 (classic) tabby pattern with a modern dark-ginger twist
OMG how could I miss that one! I've been thru more re 5/10s than I'd like to admit!
stylin' moggie
TYVM! fireworks..
relax, reset and renew jz
well done
congrats...still 2 left for me
carla: I checked out your instagram. Are you a baker? and what's the waltham reference.
I see pasta sauce
I do like to bake. I don't know what waltham reference is?
I guess that's better than dead people, moo
I dunno, could probably turn seeing dead people into some sort of community service
Hurshy I thought of you liking this site when I stumbled across it on youtube. Friends of Felines Rescue Center. Live webcam. The webcam is on 24/7 Lots of cats lounging about or running riot lol
just picturing the kid from 6th sense saying "I see pasta sauce" and it makes me giggle
that would be funny
@hokie carla .. love the nicknames for Winston
thanks, christa, they are all very fitting
well, back to the attic. wearing a mask this time as the dust is killing me.
ICYMI = In case you missed it. Please be kind to those who are "can't type whole words" challenged.
name that hobbit in the grid
stuck ln the al words??
6/24 and 7
al + ends like an Austrian pastry filled with fruit. The pastry sounds like the pasta you put in chicken soup that s in the grid.
not seeing frodo
Go across to the left from the top F
fr 5/16, pls
Think of palm fr5's without the 5th letter
ty ch
wow, it is there!
couldn't put your finger on it hokie ? :D
It is a bad hobbit to forget to read in reverse here
fr5, please?
Sorry just saw a clue below
got it thanks
al6, please?
the end is like a str****, delicoius pastry and usually cherry or apple fillling
Thanks
te6/24, please?
ends with the start of a set of two
Thank you monkeys for finding my last word. I am finito!
