you should check out jaxquielawson.com -- I've been using the service for 4 years now -- the text app is new -- but they have some really good cards and it is a great way to let people know you are thinking of them. There are other good features as well. Delayed delivery and card history (keeps a list of all the cards you have sent so you don't send the same one twice!) being the 2 I use most.

yes, still some swelling in my arm from the very rough nurse who injected me.
yesterday was two weeks since my jab.
An accidental jab into her mask would have been called for.
she grabbed my upper arm HARD and injected much deeper than the person who gave me dose one, person 1 laid a hand gently on my shoulder, and barely poked me at all.
HAHAHA good one peach, that should have never hurt to get the shot. Neither of the two I had even felt like anh

I always get my flu shot from the pharmacy because the last time I got it at my dr. office, the nurse about killed me. I asked the pharmacist why they are so much better and she said they have to do a semester on injections in pharmacy school and nurses basically learn on the job.
i did not, one other housemate (three live here) also had that experience, and still has some swelling from a deep brusie.

mr. homie has a biking friend that kept having shoulder problems after a flu shot and they had torn his rotator cuff. ortho told him it was not uncommon.
I did not feel my first dose of covid vaccine go in and it was a guy from a pharmacy school.
both my shots were at the pharmacy of Publix. They do very well with the whole procedure. Not unpleasant at all.
not saying nurses don't do a great job at other things, but in my experience it's better to get a vaccine at a pharmacy.
and the pharmacist said I wasn't the first to tell her that
we went to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, VA.
