Biology terms are weird like that. Stapes is another
Yep. Still looking for those pesky Es. I'm sure they'll deserve a fish slap when I find them
Ah ha - found two of 'em
ex6/7 are the other two
I shall hunt.
Found 'em. Thanks!
I am not familiar with those. The opposite, moreso
Indeed. I have 49 left and now slogging
It is weird how that exists as an opposite, but there is no exdent or exfest
English is weird.

Four years ago today I attended the ceremony officially making me a dual national - I got my British citizenship. On the fourth of July. The irony did not escape me.
Matty, which citizenship were you originally?
I have dual - US and UK. I grew up in New York, went to college in Oregon, then a year in Munich and then to the UK (in 1988). Been here ever since
Congrats

I guess you'd never want to add shock to your tv.
i thought you would try to find them first, mkg....

Pen that is the only tile i dont have any from.

dr seuss
hello everyone :)
Ding ding! Carla wins 4 boxes of sparklers
why is seuss pc?
*not pc
For pictures of Africans and Chinese that are deemed racist. Sorry but that swings way too far to the left for me.
oh -- must be Mulberry St. that has them upset -- a little ridiculous if you ask me
🧨🪄sparkler emoji options
Unless you have your screen blown up to 250% emojis don't work here
Nan, some people are offended by everything these days
for heaven's sake - the man's estate decided to stop printing a few less popular titles that had racist imagery. that does not mean that overall he is deemed politically incorrect.
✨
they're not "deemed racist" they are racist
hi mael
I'm pretty sure the estate realized that it's a net win to remove books that a) were not popular anyway and b) are racist

sorry, TO...
RE 9/54....
thanks for the restaurant suggestions penquis!
yw....Red's is pricey but the roll is big....
Red's is only takeout....but there are tables on the dock across the street....
Penquis is Blue Dolphin the same as Dolphin Marina and Restaurant in Harpswell?
If so, it's walking distance from where we're staying!
Yes, sorry....i always want to say Blue Dolphin...
nice, joy....my uncle rented a place around there a long time ago....it looked like it was made of cememted rocks....
Red's is kind of far from, but we'll probably explore up that way at some point...sounds like it's worth waiting for.
yes, it's about 40 min., I think....lots of places in Brunswick and that is close...
what's in Brunswick that worth seeing/doing?
where are you going joy? I missed the first part...
not much to actually see....there is a museum at the college that has a few interesting things...several restaurants....
it's the home of Bowdoin college....
well, if it rains I guess we can go to the museum.
it's on your way to Freeport... ;o)
there is also a musical theater on campus during the summer....i assume they will be reopening, but i haven't checked....Maine Music Theater I think it's called....usually good productions....
We definitely need to go to Freeport. My daughter will love the LLBean store. Her latest style is men's button down shirts.
carla, we're going to Maine for a week later this month.
make sure to go to the Bean's discount store before the flagship store....it's only a couple blocks away....
well, I figured that with the lobstah roll talk ðŸ˜
are you doing the whole state?
the places mentioned are not far from where she will be....
No, one week in Maine, one week in Connecticut and Vermont, and a stopover or two in Boston. A family compromise -- I've always wanted to go to Maine, my partner used to live in Vermont and has friends to visit, my daughter has a friend in Conn.
we went to ME back in 2016. one of our favorite trips.
where were you, carla?
nice
I'm really looking forward to this trip. Our first vacation in two years, of course, since last summer was ðŸ
i wish you good weather!
we stayed a couple of days in Scarborough at Bailey's and stumbled onto Old Orchard Beach(?) and then we went up to Acadia and stayed at a KOA on the water outside the NP, so visited the NP and Bar Harbor.
thanks, although if we have to sit inside and look at the water and cook lobster for a day that's not so bad
mr. homie got a lobster roll near the Baileys campground and said it was amazing.
is old orchard beach/scarborough nice? We'll need a nice bath to stop on our way up from Boston.
Acadia is beautiful...
old orchard is usually quite touristy.....lots of Canadians vacation there...
before you to to Freeport, look up visitfreeport.com and you can see all the outlets there....
brb...need food
we just stopped there until we could get into the campground at Acadia, so basically just rode our bikes to the beach from the campground and then rode down the road and saw the boardwalk stuff and were like, lets check this out.
was touristy there but wasn't really crowded
that was nice....my family used to go there once a year....used to be lots of carnival type things to do....
the youngest won a basketball in the game we told him no one ever wins and then I had to buy a tote bag we could carry it back in on our bikes
LOL....
i am done....
heading out....bye all....
i like the basketball story.
I hope that doesn't happen to us because I'm not taking a basketball back on the plane.
Happy 4th July!

Happy Fourth Everyone.

Thanks. I love your profile and your adorable dog.
Hello Westford! How are you? Happy 4th of July to U too!
thanks, she's my quarantine puppy, not quite 9 months old now, but still only 10 lbs :)
Hello mich! How are you doing? Happy 4th to you as well
Actually, Independence Day is all over now.I am too late.
Doing great - not too hot, and I'm back to playing Babble daily. I think I was away for...about 6-7 years? I missed it -- and all of you!
Isn't being quarantined with your puppy the BEST?!?!?
It's still the 4th on the west coast!
yep, been working from home since March 8, 2020, and I'll be teaching remotely through the end of the year, at least.
I taught remotely from March to June last year. I am glad my remote teaching days are over. It was a pretty tough year though teaching in person & online at same time.
I bet
I have 26 left... might not finish - but it's been a fun grid :)
Posted of stories of clues in my profile if U want to read.
I love when you tell your stories with clues, min!
I gave up on the af 5/16 finding 186 words. I never finish ginormous grids that have more than 200 words in them.
Any predictions for the next grid size?I predict 196 words
16 left, lol
323
how about 396 for my gu 5/16
