don't know....my mother used to make bread pudding with old bread, butter, milk....not sure what else....nothing fancy but it was yummy....butterscotch flavor....
Here it is layers of bread dipped in butter added sultanas and demerara sugar pour over a sweet milk & egg mixture. Then cook.
sounds nice....my mother may have added eggs, but not raisins....french canadians didn't use raisins much....all of her ingredients were things you would have on hand...
Yeah sultanas are much more juicy compared to raisins.
