12:59 am

interestingly the name of my Congressman (in the US) is in here, also name of car company :) 5/18

yes, lots of 7s......a big grid for sure. I've got five 7s also.

1:35 am

2x 8/45 (both R)

1:38 am

Butt there's also an amusing H6/27 and H7/40 combo

1:43 am

I have a H6/27-8/55 combo... of which I always thought the 8 wasn't correct english. But I guess you have another combo?

1:47 am

sprite: don't have your combo butt I think the one I mentioned is different P.S. the misspelling is supposed to be a clue :D

1:57 am

Working on your clue... *lol* But haven't found the words yet... and then I am telling you the truth (clue!).

2:05 am

Hmm, found a H8/55 and 9/78 pair but still looking for the combo in your clue, sprite. The one I had mentioned is probably American slang (plus its plural)

2:15 am

found the h6/8 thanks sprite - indeed the 8 does not seem like proper usage

2:34 am

Thanks svejk! That last clue worked for me... I was looking for another spelling and couldn't make it work. Found that other combo as well. Must me a huge grid!

3:12 am

I am going to leave it at 238 words / 5.12 / 3503 points for now. Though I am positive there is more in this grid, I'll list what I have found so far, so we can compare until someone is so sweet to make stats. Back later - good hunting to you all! 9 x 1 8 x 8 7 x 25 6 x 46 5 x 62 4 x 96 ------- (238) A x 22 D x 38 E x 10 H x 20 i x 11 K x 8 N x 23 O x 2 R x 30 S x 38 T x 28 U x 1 V x 7

4:30 am

Is anyone searching at the moment?

5:30 am

I'm missing one V word :( I've got four 4letter words, 1 six and 1 seven - any clues on the last one please? Many thanks!

5:30 am

St?aid thanks for the stats, I enjoy it so much more when they are available.

6:21 am

t7/28 more flavorful

6:23 am

t618/7 28 combo..small

6:31 am

r/8/40 - may be the same as the8/40 bigbirdboss mentions at 12:54

7:22 am

Wendrie, you need another V6. One is worth 27, the other 30. St鼯b, thanks fot the stats. Nice to know what I am looking for.

7:48 am

Thanks Sprite - comes from trying to Babble and write reports at the same time.... I was sure I'd used that one even though it wasn't on my list.

8:39 am

Could I have a clue for the 9 please.

9:05 am

sorry treble - don't have the 9, but I think it is an "H" from: At 02:05 am svejk said... Hmm, found a H8/55 and 9/78 pair but still looking for the combo in your clue, sprite. The one I had mentioned is probably American slang (plus its plural) end quote

9:10 am

I have the 8, I will keep trying for the 9

9:23 am

O.k. I've found the H 8/55 9/78... there are two 8/55s one relates to a 6/27 and the other doesn't...

9:47 am

American slang??? *meeeep* it is common American slang?

9:54 am

I am not American so I might not no the word.:(

9:56 am

That should be know the word, I have the 6/27 and the related 8 but I dont have the other 8.

the American slang clue is for an H6/27 and H7/40 combo

10:01 am

Sadly, it won't take a 10 letter word for "places that Cremora comes from"...

10:09 am

And, speaking of American slang, it's so close to having "keister"...

10:36 am

I wouldn't stall around looking for the h8-9 combo. (this is a clue)

10:43 am

Fit 1, thank you I got it straight away from your clue.

11:59 am

is it something to do with the H5 car? *trying to think about things that stall*

12:25 pm

nope it is much more likely to be a person... usually one who is not certain about something.

12:31 pm

woohoo thanks Wendrie :)

12:51 pm

Atalante, ir you're looking in the direction of the car you'll be lost

2:44 pm

Found the final two words. I was missing an R5, which is, though strange, a word I do recognize. But I was also missing a T4 that I only found by noodling and trying stupid combinations. T4/7 : plural of hebrew letter. 240 words / 5.11 / 3522 points

3:45 pm

Thanks sprite. That one was right in front of my eyes.

3:54 pm

4:23 pm

these are my messages from matthew

4:54 pm

Hi Matthew, we try to keep our word lists a secret - so everyone gets to search for themselves. I'm glad you like playing Babble and found lots of words today.

5:14 pm

Im sorry. I will keep my words a secret. I just like this game too much

6:39 pm

I know it sucks that he listed the words, but you gotta admit, it is kinda cute. :-):-P When my baby is born(april) and is old enough to play, he/she will. :-P How is everyone doing?

7:17 pm

I have ar/8/40 ho/8/55 re/8/45 x 2 would someone be kind enough to post hints or starting letters for the others. I know there is a h/8-9 combo but I have not found it yet.

7:19 pm

I am stuck at 148 :(

7:28 pm

so far I have: Ar/8/40x2 Re/8/45x2 Ho/8/55 Ni/8/40:has an Ni/5 in it. He/8/55-He/9 combo: To pause in uncertainty. Yes it is a common word. Does that help you any?

7:34 pm

starchaser, thanks, still can't find that h/8/9 combo though

7:35 pm

woo hoo, just found the h/8/9 combo!

7:36 pm

Is the 2nd a/4/8/40 similar to the other.

7:38 pm

not sure I have the right n/5 to make the n/8. I have one that is the opposite of morning and the one that is a mineral. Are either of them the right one?

7:45 pm

In my 7:36 pm post I meant to say: Is the 2nd a/8/40 similar to the first?

7:59 pm

Periwinkle, the 2 A/8/40's use the same letters. There is also an ra/8/40.

8:01 pm

Michelle, may I please have a clue for the r/8/40?

8:02 pm

How about the 7's? I have ai7/28 da7/32, da7/48, di7/32 ee7/28 he7/40x2, he7/44 re7/28x3 ta7/28, ti7/28 va7/40

8:02 pm

Nevermind, I found the r/8/40, thanks Michelle.

8:04 pm

Clue for ra8/40: most precipitation.

8:04 pm

Michelle, I have 2 d/7/48, The first four letters are the same, the endings are different.

8:05 pm

ok, for the Ni, use the Ni/4 that is opposite of morning. 1st Ar: A short aria. It's a plural of a Ar/7/28. 2nd Ar: A bristlelike part or appendage, such as the awn of grains and grasses or the process near the tip of the antenna of certain flies. The 2nd AR has an St/4 added to the end.

8:09 pm

starchaser, thanks so much, got the second a/8/40. Is the Ni/8 a common word?

8:12 pm

ummm to me it's not a common word. . .hmmmm....Do you have a Ni/5 that includes the Ni/4 in it?. . is so, continue adding onto that word. Think of different plural endings.

8:15 pm

I will keep trying for a little while longer, thanks.

8:16 pm

My 7's: Hope I got em right, checked it twice. lol Ai/28, Ar/28x2, As/28, At/28 Da/32, Da/48, Di/32x3 Es/32 He/40x2, He/44 Na/32, Ni/28 Re/32, Re/28x3 Ta/28 Va/40

8:17 pm

starchaser, thanks again. found the n/8. It is not a word I would use. It is very interesting the words that the Babble gods accept.

8:18 pm

Glad I could help! :-D I found the ee/7. so add that to my list.

8:19 pm

found the Ti/7 too. can't believe i missed those two. lol

8:21 pm

There are two D/8/48.One is the opposite of lightest and the other is a derogatory word once used to describe black (African American) people.

8:30 pm

did you mean D/7/48??? Because I have two D/7/48's. I found the one I was missing. I swear I typed it in, but I guess I didn't.
