i played pickleball a few times and i liked it well enough... I just missed the strategy of doubles tennis...
pickleball is really popular around here....15 or 20 people show up for open pickleball time at my indoor court place...
had to have shoulder surgery in 2015 and then I just did clinics for a while and then our tennis pro left and I heard the new one wasn't great and it was impossible to get him so I've been not playing.
well you should play whatever one you like....both can be fun and good exercise...
in some ways pickleball is less physical but there can be a lot of starts and stops, twisting and such....
some of the women at the other clubs here are really snooty and not nice so I really just want to play for fun and not get back in the leagues.
and pickleball...we have only played singles against each other, so a little more moving
for sure....i am lucky to have some nice people to play tennis with...i play during the day, so it's mostly seniors...
I played during the day but it was stay at home moms
i was playing in USTA leagues before the pandemic...not sure i will ever get back to that...
yeah, at one point I was on like 3 teams. we have USTA and this league called Interclub

Wow. That is quite an accomplishment. I was Obsessing over that for a while and then realized that the day is too short. Many Words with friends games, Sudoku, Babble, Spelling Bee. And then there is life itself. And books, and hikes, and cooking, etc So I'm content with genius + pangram
I decided to try the subscription for 1 month but I think I'll keep it. It's like $5.99 I think and you get the crosswords and sudoku and some other games too.
I still have 40 left here but am working on spelling bee more. still 47 points away from genius! that's a lot of words.
I think it's worth it. Think what it would cost to go to a movie these daus

Owl, it's a 24 hour thing starting at 3 AM or some ungodly hour. I just start in the morning and go throughout the day

but with free you only put a few words. that's what i do. so basically i just think and monkey until i figure out a pangram. then i put a few more words. so it usually only takes me like 5 or 10 mins
if anyone played today, what rank would 19 be? it timed out, not all day
