Ah hah! The periwinkle is invasive in North America and the Antipodes, but native to Europe, northwest Africa and southwest Asia - so it's all in context :)

It is such a relief to see the kids getting vaccinated. Our daughter in law said they had to wait an hour this moring at the vaccination clinic. They are pushing 800 kids per day through the one they were at.
