mmm never lived in Texas. Lived in Idaho for quite a while, and we've been in Washington near the coast since 2009.
oh sorry I must be confusing you with another player. I'm moving to washington as well in a few years.
Well, welcome in advance! We kind of have two Washingtons -- the east is high desert country with lots of farms and wine and apple fields; the west is far more populated with Seattle, Olympia and the smaller towns that are either right on the coast or (like us) at the base of the mountains, not too far from the coast. Also different cultures overall.
I'm looking in Port Townsend and Port Ludlow west of Seattle
Port Townsend is lovely, ditto Port Ludlow. PT has the great Kinetic Sculpture Race with silly costumes and boats. It's also where "Officer and a Gentlman" was filmed. Either place is wonderful.
I'm really partial to that area.. and I can be patient to find the right home
