Goodnight, Nan!

Yes!
that is a... unique word
no doubt eh ?
I was just fishing around and thought no way until it WAS way
good clue, rain
why thank you and I am in the grid too
an tre
what shall we do with our griddiness, rain?
true that
I'm cutting up some watermelon for us
Freep - do ya want seeds or seedless ?
nice. your ideas are so much melonier than mine....
seedless, thanks
well first I was thinking about bathing to take care of our griddiness but the watermelon won rock, paper, scissors
I would think watermelons would fear rocks. Maybe they're bold, though, and use the avalanche strategy....
Leaving 50 for tomorrow. Happy hunting, babblers!
in8
night, mich
I have to run as well, my little chinese crested has pancreatitis again and mama has to doctor him up. Goodnight to all.
night Rain
My last word is pi7/32. Could someone give me a clue, please?
think Agatha Christie
(but pi)
(kinda)
Thanks, freep. Hadn’t thought of the double consonant!
yeah
Like Agatha Christie? I'm not sure I follow (I mean, I know who she is but...)
Good morning, word nerds.
Nerds rule
i am a book nerd and proud of it !
So very much!
I am a proud nerd. My 9 yr old great-nephew recently, and sheepishly, told me that he was going to be a teenage nerd, and I hugged him.
He should be Babbling
I will introduce this to him soon.
are there any youngsters Babbling out there?
A youthful 61yr old here :-)
Long ago we had Mouse, the grandson of a Babbler. He was 8 or 9 and hilarious.
The pi7 is mo re like Hercule (kinda) and a bad mispelling
Yay, Soodle! I am 62.
both youngsters!
A youthful 62, Scrabbs!
I act like a 10 year old. Growing up is optional.
wish growing old was optional
I'm perfectly content being the age I am. It's certainly better than the alternative - 6 feet under. I don't envy the youngsters of today.
thx Soodle!
True, Soodle. My mother is 90, physically weak but mentally sharp. All of her peers are gone.
I'm 54 - 55 this year....
youre just gettin started, Matty
Enjoy your 50's, matty. Let the wisdom develop.
fun word in the grid is the 'more like a fish" 8/45
that was the first one I got, hilarious word! Difficult to use in normal conversation I would think!
Ah, TY. I had tr5.
start the trend, cat
Yes, saanichcat. I don't like this grid: too many vowels.
just starting here and I see what you mean
"my lake is TR------ than your lake"
haha
I passed halfway and must get ready for work. Enjoy the day.
Whoa, that is one big baby in Matty's profile
hello all
hi lindy!
beautiful baby matty!
the joys of migraine brain - when you are thinking the letters for op4 but what you type is 'tofen'
sorry about the migraine and hope it passes soon. 'tofen' - that's a good one!
thank you. I'm glad to at least be able to eat breakfast and have coffee, and not be nauseated.
sometimes I just get the hallucinatory aura; one time all I could see was like looking out of the wrong end of binoculars, a tiny circle, and everything else was black. And I was driving! Had to stop of course.
I sometimes get the sparkly lines aura that starts as a dot and grows to an arc, moving across my vision for 20 minutes. If I don't take meds right away, then it feels like I got hit in the head with a hammer.
thankfully not this time
awful for you. migraines aren't really understood by htose who don't ssuffer fom them. Mine have decreased with age, thank heavens. Good luck with yours.
thank you. I'm glad for you that yours have decreased!
yours will too. I sure hope so.
why isn't innie a word
nice, I stumbled on the 9
Good lord...I'm only 47...it's weird being the young one.

Off to costco. Returns.
new costco opening here is supposed to be 30% bigger -- maybe it won't be so crowded and I can shop there again
Doubtful Nan. People flock to Costco like dutiful sheep.
I quit my membership because every Saturday there is a line 100 people long before the store even opens.
it was ok when they were controlling the number of people allowed in at one time but the last time I went it was impossible to stay 6 feet distanced from everyone - too many people

Just came back to get my last 21 words. Got them now and think that I didn't get pi7/32 because I've always hated clowns in all their forms and tr8/45 because I had no idea my favourite food fish could be more fishy. :)
lol, I read "c l o w n s" as "d o w n s" and wondered why you had it out for rounded, chalky hills :)
I really don't like clowns, either
Lol, mich. I can see how you did that.
well you two had better not come to my place. i love clowns and have a large collection. love them so much i married one. lol
I have friends in Melbourne. Visiting Oz is on my bucket list!
i kid you not. my hubby was a clown in one of our annual celebrations in Melbourne.
That's hilarious. I've never met an actual clown before.
last word completed, Firewords! See you all later, at the flip?
Did I mention that I hate ventriloquists' dummies, too? Creepy! And those dolls that look like newborn babies. *Shudders*
I was once asked to knit a realistic looking newborn, with clothes and a Moses basket and I did so, but it gave me the creeps even done in wool.
ni7, please?
louse egg + army portion of food
ni7 - you'll be bowled over by it.
that's ni9 ni7 is like bowling combo word
lol jacula
I was writing while you were
Chog twins, westford. lol
I agree with dummies and newborns too
creepy
Westford - yep!
4 mins left to ask for last minute clues, folks!
Any guesses for size of next grid? It's a weekend one so will probably be tiny.
43 words has just come into my head. Hope I'm wrong!
