8:00 am

It's yummy goat cheese.

8:02 am

really? goat cheese? huh, will have to keep it in mind

8:03 am

Sorry, but I can't hang with brown cheese

8:05 am

Brown, blue, green...I'll eat it all.

8:05 am

We throw the green cheese away. Not fans of mold.

8:05 am

well, I'll try it all, except for the one with the live grubs <shiver>

8:06 am

Not fans of the smelly cheeses either.

8:06 am

They had one on Chopped yesterday that had mites.

8:07 am

yeah ... that one ... don't think i can do it ...

🤢🤮

8:08 am

You have probably eaten more insects than you realize if you eat organic.

I eat regular 😜

8:10 am

I accept that there are insect proteins in my food in general, but i don't want live ones. i had fried cicadas once, nutty

8:12 am

I would need to get a second job if we ate organic.

be glad you don't have to eat GF. I know some countries offer a financial break to people with celiac disease, but of course not here.

8:16 am

Probably the same countries that offer paid maternity leave. Again, not here.

8:17 am

'morning, babblers

hey welki

my signal is going in and out in case I mysteriously disappear

8:28 am

i guess nimby will not be granted "word status" and remain an acronym for the time being

I have a regular g4 - what is the stat of the other?

8:29 am

weird, looks like only one possiblility for that pt. will have to come back to that, thx.

of course

bottom row gray 🤣

8:33 am

Wordle was hard today.

8:40 am

so my wordle today was the "other" word from the day before. supposedly, if you refreshed you get redirected to the NYT version which skipped the word from 2 days ago (also hard but arguably a more "foreign" word). today's was the one that was on the NYT from yesterday

I had to switch browsers because I was only getting blank screen on the old link and the NYT link. It still does not appear on my NYT games screen, which is annoying.

I don't know if they are ever going to fix the glitch. I know from reddit that I'm not the only one with this problem.

8:43 am

got wordle in 6 today - phew !

ha! I just got it in 2.

wasn't ha-ing you, monty, just surprised myself

8:44 am

wow, impressive carla !!

8:45 am

Carla is a genius. Didn't you know?

but who knows if it's the same word as everyone else.

8:45 am

What does your word mean?

8:46 am

My word was what you put in between bathroom tiles. I got it in three, which surprised me.

8:46 am

Lucky guess with my second try

8:46 am

mine was in the contruction/renovation area...

yep, same word

8:47 am

And you guessed that on your second try?

8:47 am

you guys are the geniuses - will go back to babble - sigh..

yes, thanks to my starting word, I knew what it couldn't end with

got lucky starting with that word today, I have a few I rotate around

I had the same word as Molly - took me 4 I think

8:51 am

interesting, i'm still on the original wordle site so will see if that's the word tomorrow

8:52 am

I do not get an option for the wordle site. The only thing that comes up when I do a search for it is the New York Times site.

8:52 am

When is it going to stop being free?

8:52 am

i hadn't looked at wordle today - but now, i'd bet i can get it in one or two

8:53 am

mine is the powerlanguage.co.uk one and i'm not refreshing!

8:53 am

The original wordle site has been automatically redirecting to the New York Times for a few days now.

8:54 am

Probably when NYT adds it to their game menu. Will require a subscription then perhaps. I read somewhere the game was sold to the NYT.

welki, I hope so since you saw the def 😁😜🤣

I thought they said it was going to stay free?

8:54 am

it better not lose my stats if it redirects

8:54 am

well yeah, carla 🤣🤣🤣

but I hope they add it to their game menu

Mine also redirects to NYT

8:56 am

I thought the word at morewordle was harder today.

8:56 am

You will lose your stats when it redirects

8:56 am

I did

8:56 am

It hasn't lost mine

I kept my stats!

yes, but I had failed 2 so I didn't care about my stats

and like I said, mine redirected to a blank screen, so I can't play on Chrome anymore

8:57 am

I don't care about my stats, but I noticed they zeroed out when it switched. I guess some of you are special.

8:57 am

hello...may I have stats for the lone M?

8:58 am

my6/27

8:58 am

n

8:58 am

ty

8:59 am

i don't care about my wordle stats...as long as i stay at 100% ☺☺

9:00 am

lol

also, did someone steal molly's password? I thought she was anti-wordle.

9:02 am

No, it just gets talked about SO MUCH here. Like it's the coolest thing since sliced bread. That and "the bee"

speaking of the bee, I really forked that up yesterday

9:08 am

9:29 am

9:29 am

Got it. Ty.

there's a tr 7/32. it's a word that demeans a lady of the night

9:32 am

good morning all . Hope wordle hasn't been sold to the money grubbing NYT. I get it on the uk site right now.

it has been, like a couple of weeks ago

just transitioned to NYT the other day but there are issues

9:34 am

it looks like broll gets the tiara today and molly gets a headband for an almost

I was just going to say broll gets the tiara today - great minds 😁

9:35 am

Plenty of people call me mo4 and mo5. I want the full on tiara.

9:35 am

yes and if we add a letter to that lady of the evening, we have a 19th C. novelist.

9 more. starting to get stuck in mud.

42 left here

9:39 am

I think Nan just called me a whore 😊😊

9:40 am

with a tiara though

9:40 am

True. And I have definitely been called worse.

a fancy ho

9:41 am

didn't know you were in that occupation, MOlly - was referring to the tr 7

ah, did not have that, thx

first pi 6?

oh, I don't have any pi's. will look

9:42 am

only pi 6 I have is a wine - haven't listed yet

9:42 am

first i have is a plural of a grape

that's the same one i have, yeah

pi think wine

9:42 am

Ah, you made your comment right after I mentioned mo4 and mo5

9:43 am

Sharp metal object and Spanish cheer. PI 6/21

thanks, soodle!

ooh, finished the P

9:46 am

still need 13 of them

9:46 am

think it is going to be the letter of the day

I got 26 on first pass and then my last 4 were pi. guess I didn't even see that at first.

1 more 7, and it is probably staring me in the face

9:48 am

just have pi x2

you have the wines I'm assuming

another was just clued and then a 4

9:49 am

I have a pi 6 wine

9:49 am

9:50 am

9:51 am

bah humbug. why can't i figure this ro 7 out?? i have the part of a secretary.

ah, thanks for the one

1 po 5 left before fw

pinole

weeoohhh weeohh pb for you

po5/20, leigh or maybe 5/16

sorry

put in wrong box

happens to all of us just enjoy it!

was trying to see if icon worked

it's the po 5/20 for sure. just need to figure it out. i'm never good at using the points to figure it out

I just tried it and it was a word. apparently disparaging name for Brits in NZ. ends in sometimes vowel.

9:56 am

po5/20 is what apples call their mom

lololol thanks ruru. i like that definition!

9:56 am

didn't have those two po 5's -- ty

ty carla too

9:57 am

I thought it was a rock opera about a furry dog

9:57 am

The deaf, dumb and blind one

well, I'm going to take Winston on a hike. 22 left for later. TTFN.

9:59 am

po5's live in seedy conditions

enjoy the hike!

10:00 am

yes, but they can be quite saucy

10:01 am

I hear some of them are tart (like me)

10:01 am

the kids never had a chance they were always baked

10:01 am

only if you turn them over molly :D

10:02 am

I wouldn't want to fritter away my time doing that

10:02 am

we could call you pippin longstockings

10:03 am

when you're older though we'd just call you Granny Smith

10:04 am

stuck -- peeling out for breakfast

10:04 am

But she has a tiara! Shouldn’t we call her something fancier like Honey Crisp?

10:05 am

You all are getting to the core of it

10:05 am

Thanks, Molly. We appreciate the slice of recognition

10:06 am

it's like we have in-cider information

10:10 am

it's hilarious if you google apples all you can get is iphones and watches and not the fruit

10:11 am

as long as you don't get calvados about it

10:20 am

that was a good one nan

10:20 am

people who joke about apples are great at math.. they'[re always talking about Pi

10:21 am

Good Morning. Nice to see everyone is joking today. Beautiful weather here in middle TN.

10:22 am

that's nice after all the weird weather you've had

10:23 am

yes, tomorrow rain and then cold again but we will be outside a lot today

10:24 am

po 5/20, pls

10:25 am

rhymes with to 5 18

10:26 am

ty Sophie

10:27 am

:)

11:09 am

anyone have that lone M from the fourth row? i'm assuming it has to be my but dunno where to go from there

11:12 am

my6/27 lots of discussion about it in the chat

11:13 am

hurshy I had to look it up, too

11:16 am

mk thanks

11:17 am

gotta love it when you click the ? button and the dictionary's got no idea either

11:17 am

aha, it is a kind of CHEESE

11:19 am

Thou shalt not blurt

11:20 am

how is that a relevant comment at the moment

11:20 am

it's not like everyone's going "oh of course, that cheese" because nobody has heard of it

11:21 am

and anyway you happen to be very against blurting, but not everyone is, so...

11:24 am

hello again

11:26 am

hi nan

11:27 am

Finally found a seven

11:27 am

only 1 here, too

11:28 am

24 left total

11:28 am

yeah i just have 1 seven as well

11:29 am

What we need is a fistful of 7s ;)

11:29 am

ha

11:40 am

i can't believe i need 6 more fours though

11:41 am

I've come to the conclusion that we need to add an s to every 3 letter word and a y to every 4 letter word, no matter how ridiculous it seems

11:50 am

you're right, I just did that with a Y

11:51 am

*!*~*!* a lot of weird and questionable words today

11:52 am

5 left here

11:56 am

found a word that's relevant to winter olympics!

12:01 pm

Fireworks! Anyone need a clue before I head out?

12:02 pm

May I have stats, please, for any other 7 but the one I have (DO7)?

12:09 pm

RO 7 is a desk

12:10 pm

TR 7 is TR 5, 10 with an ending

12:11 pm

other RO 7, 36 is a compound word too.... starts the same as RO 7 , 32

12:53 pm

tr7 is a trashy woman

12:53 pm

Thank you!

12:53 pm

All!

12:53 pm

I love "an ending" 😊

i think they are anagrams

to7 and ro7/36

make that tr 7

1:40 pm

hi all help with either ro7 please

1:43 pm

pickled fish is the first one

1:44 pm

I don't know any pickled fish starting with ro

1:44 pm

i think it is a herring that has been pickled and can be bought in a jar

1:46 pm

herring I know

1:46 pm

but not seeing an ro7

1:47 pm

will keep looking and go to list soon

1:47 pm

ends with something you use to clean....

1:47 pm

starts like the other RO 7....

1:47 pm

compound word...

1:48 pm

starts with a small piece of bread and ends with something you clean your floors with

1:54 pm

Is that like a Roomba for no-wax floors? 😊😊

1:54 pm

sounds more like that than like a fish...

1:55 pm

It's a Rock &..... +... & bucket

1:56 pm

if you say so... ;o)

2:01 pm

I wouldn't mind having something that automatically mopped the kitchen floor for me. With all the advances we have made, why don't we have those robot maids like Rosey in The Jetson's.

2:02 pm

i wouldn't mind one either....actually, i would like a robot housekeeper who cooked and cleaned.... ;o)

2:18 pm

If you're gonna dream, dream big.

2:20 pm

:oD

And now for the ceremonial checking for the -S’s!

2:26 pm

It's ceremonial? Should we play Olympics music?

Hmm, not a terrible idea

Either that or the Benny Hill theme

2:28 pm

I will go for Olympics music. Not a Brit TV fan.

And an animation where me and the S’s are crossing hallways and peeking out doors at different times

(There were 3. At minimum.)

3:06 pm

ty for ro7 new word for me

3:29 pm

help with pi5 and 2nd pi6 pls

3:30 pm

pi5 is a red wine

3:32 pm

ty got them both

4:24 pm

it's funny you can make pi5 no4 both :)

If NIMBY isn't a word it should be

alop

I just said that to throw you off.

7:18 pm

evening all!

7:38 pm

anybody around can clue the OTHER ro7 that isn't the compound fish?

7:39 pm

dan, ro 7 desk

7:39 pm

same first four letters

hiya rose!

7:47 pm

thanks granny that's firewords!
