Heard from my brother last night. Feeling somewhat more relieved. They took him out of isolation even though he is testing positive he is not contagious. They will flush his system with a lot of fluids to see if that helps clear his kidneys.
hope that the fluids do help him....
oh, I hadn't seen he wasn't doing well.
hope he is better soon

I am waiting to hear about a very good friend of mine from back home that is in hospice due to Covid.

sorry to hear it, bea....i lost a friend in Missouri last year due to covid....she refused to get vaccinated....her 41 year old son also died of covid....

i'm trying not to be such a "planner," knowing that making reservations will drive me up a wall. spontaneity isn't my strong suit :D
well, unfortunately now you have to have reservations and plan since there are so many more rv'ers on the road
i hear ya....i remember a trip to Nova Scotia with my parents in the summer of1979....totally without reservations....didn't have a problem due to the info booths along the way....

back in the day you just kinda showed up at campgrounds and it was first come first served. we always had a camper when I was a kid.
well, we'll see what happens - departure isn't for at least two weeks anyway. worst case is that we fly by the seat of our pants for the first leg of the trip (which is to see family) and try to reserve spots the rest of the way. probably would be nice if we had certain destinations in mind
yes, would be hard to get out of your town to start the trip if you got snowed in I guess.
