we got here yesterday afternoon - it's spectacular so far, but once we get into the park (and further to bryce canyon), i think we'll be amazed

i can see how this terrain might not be to everyone's liking, but i love it - the subtle changes in color in the rock formations, the perseverance of plants/animals to thrive in this area is pretty impressive
