The longest word in the Scrabble dictionary is OXYPHENBUTAZONE, 15 letters. I seriously doubt this game could generate a longer one. The longest one we have had in all the years the game has been up is 13.

Technically this game could generate a 16 letter word if the word started with the top right corner tile and went all around the edge of the grid to the tile below that. Statistically, it's probably really long odds of that happening.
