yes, we play the first round on Tues morning. got to play 3 sets with my partner on Sat. It was a lot of fun.
that's great...i usually play two hours on Tuesday morning in a mixed group....one week we draw lots and stick with the partner we got....the next week we play a set and change partners....
partners can be same sex or mixed...
that's similar to our sat group. this is the club championships this week. there are 7 neighborhoods in our club, so we might see some new people. first match is against a couple from here.
sounds like fun....
i am playing in a charity tournament on the 22nd....that's always fun....

my mixed partner was trying to talk me into the singles championship next week since there's only 2 women signed up. I know one of them from our women's open play and she is 72 but has been playing since the age of 7 and is really, really good, so I think I'll pass.
