I've had both of mine, too. No side effects apart from slightly sore arm on the Covid jab side. The flu arm was fine.

hey to - no, no issues getting the vaccine. holding off on flu shot, since it costs $100 USD each (converts to about $142 CAD)

yeah, the price is high, even without the crappy conversion rate
but grateful we got the bivalent
goodness, the Federal Government paid for my bivalent, and my insurance covered the flu shot.
it's complicated, but we both have medicare - that's probably why the bivalent didn't cost anything. other than that, we don't have us medical insurance (other than travel insurance), so that's why they would have charged us.
that makes sense, sigh.
when we get back to canada, we'll get the flu shot there

i got the flu shot Tuesday. my doctor had a drive up, no need to get out of the car. after being stuck in a nerve last year, i'm done with pharmacy shots.
interesting, I've had much better experience with the pharmacy than the doctor's office. I even asked the pharmacist last year why they were so much better and she said they hear that a lot.
great to just pull up, open the window, get it and go.
my experiences were good too until two bad ones last year. the one in the nerve had my arm useless. scary.

also, the personnel in the pharmacies changed.

my regular pharmacy had people i could trust who retired. but my first two covids were walmart organized and were great.

I wonder how many credit card numbers those fake emails from fake Amazon and fake PayPal get when they send out those "you need to update your payment information" scam mails.
sadly, too many....
They do a very good job of making their emails look like they are legitimate. It's the urls in the return addresses that give them away and a lot of people don't know how to tell a fake one.
I hate it that I get them in texts.
