I just found a raccoon print on one of my bluebird houses, I'm pretty sure criminals should be more careful not to leave evidence behind when attempting a breakin
someone on my birding page (in alberta) saw his first bluebird a couple of days ago - very early. raccoons are uncommon in this part of the province, so no bandits for now - they're coming north, though
the bluebirds stay all winter here, it's lovely
we spent about an hour last night watching a small herd of deer meander right behind our house - big and healthy
I've only seen a bluebird at the zoo

I think our area has too many people for bluebirds
yeah, they have very specific preferences for habitat
but they are my favorite

faves here are ravens, stellars jays. They have such a sense of humour, playing tricks and then laughing!
they usually migrate through California's central valley. You can see literally thousands in Los Banos
they're so tall!

stellar jays are really noisy
yeah, I never expected to see them in MA though! in my field! what the hell
welki my cats used to sleep in the sun on their backs and the jays would drop small stones on them and then howl, too funny
they're here in alberta, but i think they stick to the forested areas

we have magpies, lots of magpies
sometimes they live here year-round. But the ravens are my favourite.
I like white tailed kites and Ospreys a lot
they are all in the same family, Corvidae (sp>)

mael they are just the most amazing birds.I have only seen films, never a real one
I love so many birds it's hard to pick faves
they scream! my kids called them hawaiian ghost birds because they moan in the darkness of the cliffs, it's actually quite alarming if you don't know what they are

Everyone has arthritis- not everyone experiences pain. MRIs do not correlate with patient's experience. Look up John E. Sarno, M.D. for a take on mind-body work. Its not woo-woo- it's really enlightening. Curied my supposed chronic pain in my back. I don't know what approach I will take for a degenerative hip though.
