had a hypoglycemic event yesterday while golfing! my monitor was inaccurate, i felt 'off,' and quit at hole 17. took some glucose as a precaution, went home and tested - was 65 (3.5)

i've been hypo-unaware for years, am surprised (and glad) that, this time, i felt weird
more often than i'd like, nan - it's why i wear a continuous glucose monitor. i sleep through these events, and that's dangerous. (and apologies to the chat - i thought scrabs was still here)

thanks - just tired today. i rarely sleep well after one of these things. had a friend who died in her sleep of the same thing.

i'm the opposite, nan - my game is getting better and i don't often play with anyone other than the ol' man. i don't enjoy the organized events like 'ladies' day,' - too cliquey for me

I tried golf a few times with friends and it is an unforgiving game starting with actually hitting the ball.
i don't think today's wordle is a common word, i got it but i'm read a lot of regency
I was just getting frustrated with myself because I couldn't hit the ball as far as I used to after I had the knee replacements and I wasn't as accurate with the short game.
will take that as a helpful hint, shirl :)
Don't get me wrong -- the "bionic" knees are great, but you can't put the torque on them that you need for a good golf shot.
oh nan - but just getting out there might be good for you. maybe you can find someone to play best ball with - or just hit what you want, and forget about score
or, hit off someone's drive and concentrate on your short game
might look into one of the par 3 courses around here. The standing around waiting for your turn is hard too, though.
