the lazer was used to remove the decay.
I will have to ask my dentist about that. most numbing agents don't really work on my teeth
mine did not involve a lazer or a laser, they just said it wasn't near a nerve and if it started to hurt to let them know. of course it did, but I didn't protest too hard. was home in like 15 min and didn't have any of that face numbness wearing off.
I'm resistant to novocaine and the like so they don't work well on me either

Overall, well. y shoulder had a little setback in the last 2 weeks. I think the PT moved ahead too quickly so my shoulder is quite sore.
hope all are healthy and safe. if you have those two you are doing good. thats my view.

Scrabbler....when I did shoulder therapy.I was always an over-achiever...because I wanted to get well more quickly. I was told to slow down and not push it. Also I wouldn't breathe many times when I was struggling to do certain exercises because I was concenrating so hard.
I do push myself but I had 3 new exercises last Friday and considerable pain Saturday and Sunday. I know I must slow down.
You can delay your rehab progress if you push too hard with the exercises.
And for God's sake, breathe.

did not know that Molly....... this info will come in handy when I get my other shoulder's replacement.
The way it was explained to me, your muscles need to learn to work with the new joint. You can't push that. It is a gradual process. You only need to strengthen it by doing the suggested exercises. And while exercising previous to your surgery will get you in good shape, it will not affect things after the replacement. Once the joint is replaced, you have to "grow a new garden" 😊
